  • In this paper, we introduce the concept of fuzzy r-generalized almost continuous mapping and obtain some characterizations of such a mapping. In particular, we investigate characterizations for the fuzzy r-generalized almost continuity by using the concept of fuzzy r-generalized regular open sets.

  • In this paper, we establish some common fixed point theorems satisfying contraction mapping principle on partially ordered non-Archimedean fuzzy metric spaces and also derive some coupled fixed point results with the help of established results. We investigate the solution of integral equation and also give an example to show the applicability of our results. These results generalize, improve and fuzzify several well-known results in the recent literature.

  • In this paper we establish two common fixed point theorems in fuzzy metric spaces. These theorems are generalisations of the Banach contraction mapping principle and the Kannan's fixed point theorem respectively in fuzzy metric spaces. Our result is also supported by examples.

  • Fuzzy set expressing category in fuzzy rating, which is a kind of psychological scaling, is dependent on situations. This paper assumes that a mapping exists between fuzzy sets expressing categories in some situation and those expressing same categories in another situation. fuzzy sets expressing categories in some situation are obtained by fuzzy sets expressing categories in another situation and the mapping between them. The usefulness of the present method is confirmed by the experiments comparing fuzzy sets obtained by the presented method with those identified directly by fuzzy rating. The normalized distance is used to compare both fuzzy sets and the experimental results show that the normalized distances between both fuzzy sets are enough small and that the presented method is useful for psychological scaling.

  • This paper presents a method for propagating fuzzy concepts through fuzzy IF-THEN-ELSE rules. A fuzzy IF-THEN-ELSE rule consists of a set of fuzzy condition and conclusion pairs. These pairs assumed to contain informations about a fuzzy mapping from fuzzy concepts of condition parts to the fuzzy concepts of conclusion parts. Conventionally, vectors are used to define fuzzy concepts and matrices are used to define a fuzzy mapping between fuzzy conditions and conclusions. This approach, however, does not satisfy the existing condition property, i.e., when a fuzzy input data exactly matches to a fuzzy condition, fuzzy output data should be mapped to a corresponding fuzzy conclusion. Alternatively, we propose a parameterized approach in which every fuzzy concept is described by a parameterized standard function, including fuzzy conditions and fuzzy conclusions. A fuzzy IF-THEN-ELSE rule takes the parameterized fuzzy concept as an input, and produces a standard function with new parameters as an output. New parameters are determined by a parameterwise interpolation. That is, each output parameters are determined by interpolating parameters of the same class contained in fuzzy conclusions. Obviously, the proposed scheme always satisfies the existing condition property.

  • This paper is concerned with the problem of speaker-adaptive speech synthes is method using a mapped codebook designed by fuzzy mapping on FLVQ (Fuzzy Learning Vector Quantization). The FLVQ is used to design both input and reference speaker's codebook. This algorithm is incorporated fuzzy membership function into the LVQ(learning vector quantization) networks. Unlike the LVQ algorithm, this algorithm minimizes the network output errors which are the differences of clas s membership target and actual membership values, and results to minimize the distances between training patterns and competing neurons. Speaker Adaptation in speech synthesis is performed as follow;input speaker's codebook is mapped a reference speaker's codebook in fuzzy concepts. The Fuzzy VQ mapping replaces a codevector preserving its fuzzy membership function. The codevector correspondence histogram is obtained by accumulating the vector correspondence along the DTW optimal path. We use the Fuzzy VQ mapping to design a mapped codebook. The mapped codebook is defined as a linear combination of reference speaker's vectors using each fuzzy histogram as a weighting function with membership values. In adaptive-speech synthesis stage, input speech is fuzzy vector-quantized by the mapped codcbook, and then FCM arithmetic is used to synthesize speech adapted to input speaker. The speaker adaption experiments are carried out using speech of males in their thirties as input speaker's speech, and a female in her twenties as reference speaker's speech. Speeches used in experiments are sentences /anyoung hasim nika/ and /good morning/. As a results of experiments, we obtained a synthesized speech adapted to input speaker.

  • In this paper, we used the supra fuzzy topology which generated from a fuzzy bitopological space [1] to introduce and study the concepts of continuity (resp. openness, closeness) of mapping, separation axioms and compactness for a fuzzy bitopological spaces. Our definition preserve much of the correspondence between concepts of fuzzy bitopological spaces and the associated fuzzy topological spaces.

  • We propose an intgrated Gill environment system having only integer fuzzy operations in the consequent part and the defuzzification stage. In this paper, we also propose an integrated Gill environment system with 4 parallel fuzzy processing units to be operated in parallel on the classification of the sensed image data. In this, we solve the problems of taking longer times as the fuzzy real computations of [0, 1] by using the integer pixel conversion algorithm to convert lines of each fuzzy linguistic term to the closest integer pixels. This procedure is performed automatically in the GUI application program. As a Gill environment, PCI transmission, image data pre-processing, integer pixel mapping and fuzzy membership tuning are considered. This system can be operated in parallel manner for MIMO or MISO systems.

  • In this paper, we introduce the notion of fuzzy (r, s)-S1-pre-semicontinuous mappings on intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces in $\check{S}$ostak's sense, which is a generalization of $S_1$-pre-semicontinuous mappings by Shi-Zhong Bai. The relationship between fuzzy (r, s)-pre-semicontinuous mapping and fuzzy (r, s)-$S_1$-pre-semicontinuous mapping is discussed. The characterizations for the fuzzy (r, s)-$S_1$-pre-semicontinuous mappings are obtained.
