  • In programming language learning system of flip learning methods, the evaluation of cyber lectures generally proceeds from online to multiple choice questions. In this case, the questions are randomly extracted from the question bank and given to individual learners. In order for these evaluation results to be reflected in the grades, the equity of the examination question is more important than anything else. Especially in the programming language subject, the degree of difficulty that learners think can be different depending on the type of problem. In this paper, we classify the types of multiple-choice problems into two categories, and manage the difficulty level by each type. And we propose a question selection algorithm that considers both difficulty level and type of question. Considering the characteristics of the programming language, experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is more efficient and fair than the conventional method.

  • As The semiconductor decrease from 10 nanometer to 7 nanometer, It is suggested that "More than Moore" is needed to follow Moore's Law, which has been a guide for the semiconductor industry. Fan-Out Wafer Level Package(FOWLP) is considered as the key to "More than Moore" to lead the next generation in semiconductors, and the reasons are as follows. the fan-out WLP does not require a substrate, unlike conventional wire bonding and flip-chip bonding packages. As a result, the thickness of the package reduces, and the interconnection becomes shorter. It is easy to increase the number of I / Os and apply it to the multi-layered 3D package. However, FOWLP has many issues that need to be resolved in order for mass production to become feasible. One of the most critical problem is the warpage problem in a process. Due to the nature of the FOWLP structure, the RDL is wired to multiple layers. The warpage problem arises when a new RDL layer is created. It occurs because the solder ball reflow process is exposed to high temperatures for long periods of time, which may cause cracks inside the package. For this reason, we have studied warpage in the FOWLP structure using commercial simulation software through the implementation of the reflow process. Simulation was performed to reproduce the experiment of products of molding compound company. Young's modulus and poisson's ratio were found to be influenced by the order of influence of the factors affecting the distortion. We confirmed that the lower young's modulus and poisson's ratio, the lower warpage.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the potential of flip learning in Korea and to explore the possibilities of university English education. To this end, participants are sought for classes wherein general English class is taught and the researcher is in charge of teaching. 25 students of media-English class is chosen for the study. Instruments for the study include class evaluation and feedbacks, mid-term and final exams, group performative evaluation, on-line class views and participations. The findings of the study are: As students progress in flipped learning classes, their exam results significantly improved, and their performative evaluation results also improved significant across different groups. The effects are more eminent among higher levels of students, but students with mid and low level of English still improved significantly once they engage themselves in preview activity on a regular basis and self-directedly.

  • A tumor immune interaction is a main topic of interest in the last couple of decades because majority of human population suffered by tumor, formed by the abnormal growth of cells and is continuously interacted with the immune system. Because of its wide range of applications, many researchers have modeled this tumor immune interaction in the form of ordinary, delay and fractional order differential equations as the majority of biological models have a long range temporal memory. So in the present work, tumor immune interaction in fractional form provides an excellent tool for the description of memory and hereditary properties of inter and intra cells. So the interaction between effector-cells, tumor cells and interleukin-2 (IL-2) are modeled by using the definition of Caputo fractional order derivative that provides the system with long-time memory and gives extra degree of freedom. Moreover, in order to achieve more efficient computational results of fractional-order system, a discretization process is performed to obtain its discrete counterpart. Furthermore, existence and local stability of fixed points are investigated for discrete model. Moreover, it is proved that two types of bifurcations such as Neimark-Sacker and flip bifurcations are studied. Finally, numerical examples are presented to support our analytical results.

  • The recent trend shows that the number of internet users among older adults and their level of the ability to use internet have been increased. The purpose of this study is to investigate the phenomenon of senior information technology. Using qualitative descriptive method, this study aims to explore how and in which context older adults use internet. It also aims to address the nature and the outcomes of elderly people's use of internet in their daily lives. In-depth interviews with 16 older participants were analyzed with qualitative content analysis and constant comparison method. The finding shows as follows: (1) agonies felt by the "ambiguous" age group in the modern society, (2) the analogue generation joining the digital, (3) daily changes according to the internet use, (4) senior information technology and its flip side of coin. Based on the research findings, implications for senior information policy are addressed in three ways: promoting productive use of internet among older adults, meeting their health-related concerns using internet, and finding ways to integrate the idea of humanities into senior information technology.

  • Accurate diagnosis of movement disorders is important for providing right patient care at right time. In general, assessment of motor impairment relies on clinical ratings conducted by experienced clinicians. However, this may introduce subjective opinions into scoring the severity of motor impairment. Digital devices such as table PC and smart band with accelerometer can be used for more accurate and objective assessment and possibly helpful for clinicians to make right decision of patient's states. In this study, we introduce quantification algorithms of motor impairment which uses the digital data acquired during four clinical motor tests (Line drawing, Spiral drawing, Nose to finger and Hand flip tests). The step by step procedure of quantifying metrics (Tremor Frequency, Tremor Magnitude, Error Distance, Time, Velocity, Count and Period) are provided with flowchart. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is presented with the result from simulated data (normal, normal with tremor and slowness, poor with tremor, poor with tremor and slowness).

  • Recently, the number of hip dysplasia (DDH) that occurs during infant and child growth has been increasing. DDH should be detected and treated as early as possible because it hinders infant growth and causes many other side effects In this study, two modelling techniques were used for multiple training techniques. Based on the results after the first transformation, the training was designed to be possible even with a small amount of data. The vertical flip, rotation, width and height shift functions were used to improve the efficiency of the model. Adam optimization was applied for parameter learning with the learning parameter initially set at 2.0 x 10e-4. Training was stopped when the validation loss was at the minimum. respectively A novel image overlay system using 3D laser scanner and a non-rigid registration method is implemented and its accuracy is evaluated. By using the proposed system, we successfully related the preoperative images with an open organ in the operating room

  • This study aims to present a non-face-to-face teaching methodology for the theory and practical lessons of design majors, especially for the arts and sports field. It was conducted to improve the existing teaching models after the non-face-to-face online lectures which began with COVID-19. Various existing smart learning methods such as online classes, interactive classes, and flip learning were reviewed, and a method to efficiently manage practical skills by supplementing the shortcomings of each study was suggested. 4 stages of teaching development - setting a teaching method, teaching progress, evaluation, and follow-up management-were designated and applied to the class of design majors. The result showed that it is effective in terms of teaching method and progress; however, the limitations of non-face-to-face classes were found in the stages of evaluation and follow-up management. Therefore, it is expected that further research on evaluation and follow-up management, such as specific practical instruction methods is required to improve completion.

  • This paper describes a high-performance hardware implementation of modular multiplication used as a core operation in elliptic curve cryptography. A 521-bit high-performance modular multiplier for NIST P-521 curve was designed by adopting 3-way Toom-Cook integer multiplication and fast reduction algorithm. Considering the property of the 3-way Toom-Cook algorithm in which the result of integer multiplication is multiplied by 1/3, modular multiplication was implemented on the Toom-Cook domain where the operands were multiplied by 3. The modular multiplier was implemented in the xczu7ev FPGA device to verify its hardware operation, and hardware resources of 69,958 LUTs, 4,991 flip-flops, and 101 DSP blocks were used. The maximum operating frequency on the Zynq7 FPGA device was 50 MHz, and it was estimated that about 4.16 million modular multiplications per second could be achieved.
