  • As technology advances, the importance of software education is increasing. Accordingly, interest in information subjects is increasing, but intending elementary learners to show algorithms only for specialized IT skills that could spoil the interest. In this paper for the elementary school students, through the four stages, 2015 revision curriculum analysis, creating of training program development operating plans, applying programs for the targeting students and analysis of results and evaluation, using Rich Picture technique which is various tools such as pictures and speech bubble symbols for the learners can express the intelligent CCTV algorithm freely and easily so they can understand fully about the algorithm of intelligent CCTV that uses artificial intelligence to extract faces from subjects. Suggest on this paper, the proposal of educational program can help the learner to grasp the principle of the algorithm by using the flowchart. As the result, Through the modification and development of the proposed program, we will conduct research on IT creative education that can be applied in various areas.

A Usability Test of a New Computerized Open-ended Math Testing System for Elementary School Students (초등학생용 컴퓨터화 개방형 수학 시험 방식의 사용가능성 검증)

  • In this study, a new open-ended format math testing system for elementary school students has been proposed. This system is an application of the recently proposed Constructive Multiple-choice Testing (CMT) system on math testing. The CMT system is a testing system in which the examinee has to respond to an item twice, first in an open ended format, and then in the multiple choice format. The advantages of this system is that process information can easily be obtained and that the examinee can receive feedback immediately after the test, based on his/her multiple choice responses. This open-ended format math testing system includes the manager mode, which allows the generation of the test items and student account management, and the testing mode, which allows the students to input their solution process using the menu bar and the keyboard. When two groups, one tested using the CMT system and the other tested using the paper and pencil test, were compared, there was no significant difference in average scores between the two groups although the testing time was longer for the group tested using the CMT system. This result suggests that the open-ended format math testing system proposed in this study can be used effectively in the actual classroom setting.

  • We development the service that teacher and parent can control the smart phone of student in school and home, the name is I_smart_keeper. The service is composed of server system, teacher's application, parent's application and student's application. The control of student's phone in school is operated by school timetable and GPS(Global Positioning System) in smart phone. The student's phone is operating one of six policy. The six policy is 'emergency call only', 'specific application only', 'call only', 'call and text only', 'all allowed' and 'all lock'. The teacher can change the current policy with his or her phone, That is a the temporary policy can be applied on a day. In school hours, teacher is able to instruct student using application appropriate to the teaching. If student is leaving school early and located outside school, the service do free the student's phone by GPS of her or his phone. We show the Smart Health Indicator (SHI)that analyse the pattern of student's phone habit and SHI will guide a desirable student's phone habit. In home, parent can control child's phone. The service will help the risk reduction of a robbery case due to keeping student's phone by teacher in class. Currently one elementary school's all student use I_smart_keeper and three elementary school is testing to some class. The teacher's impression was very good and they usually use I_smart_keeper for class in positive light. Survey results for students with higher satisfaction.

A Study on the Basic Investigation for the Fire Risk Assessment of Education Facilities (교육시설 화재위험성 평가를 위한 기초조사에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: Fire load analysis was conducted to secure basic data for evaluating fire risk of educational facilities. In order to calculate the fire load through a preliminary survey, basic data related to the fire load of school facilities were collected. Method: The basic data were the definition and types of fire loads, combustion heat data for the calculation of fire loads. The fire load was evaluated by multiplying the combustion heat by the weight of the combustibles in the compartment when calculating the fire load. Result: As for the fixed combustible materials of A-elementary school, the floor was mainly made of wood, in consideration of emotion and safety in the classroom, music room, and school office, and the rest of the compartments were made of stone. The ceiling and walls were made of gypsum board and concrete, so they were not combustible. The typical inflammable items in each room were desks, chairs, and lockers in the classroom, and the laboratory equipment box and experimental tool box were the main components in the science room, and books, bookshelves, and reading equipment occupied a large proportion in the library room. Conclusion: 'The fire loads of A-elementary' schools according to the combustibles loaded were in the order of library, computer room, English learning room, teacher's office, general classroom, science hall, and music room.

  • The 2015 revised curriculum is structured around the core competencies of the 21st century, this is in line with the world's flow of education, such as OECD Education 2030. A future practical leading model was studied to provide a variety of creative teaching and learning experiences to elementary and Secondary students using intelligent information technology to cultivate core competencies such as ICT and computing thinking. In order for this practical model to stably settle the school field, the training was planned and operated to strengthen the creative convergence education capacity required by the teachers at the unit school through various types of the training. In particular, a nationwide administrators training program was operated for three years, reflecting the new curriculum, teaching and learning methods, and evaluation that can lead to future convergence talent training. In this paper, the perception of creative convergence education was investigated and analyzed considering the influence that administrators may have on the school field. Based on this, through the three-year operation results of the training, it was intended to establish a new training method for stable access to future creative convergence education under the post-corona era's social issues.

  • 현재 초등학교에서 실시되고 있는 ICT(Information & Communication Technology) 교육은 ICT 소양교육과 ICT 활용교육으로 구분되어 실시되고 있다. ICT 소양교육은 컴퓨터 과학을 기반으로 하여 정보기술과 통신 기술에 대한 기본적인 소양교육으로 그 내용을 구성하고 있다. 현재 초고속 통신망의 발달과 컴퓨터 사용으로 인하여 소양교육에 대한 학업 성취도는 매우 향상되어 가고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 앞으로의 ICT 교육은 활용 교육에 더 많은 노력을 기울여 전 교과에 걸쳐 정보 통신 기술을 활용하여 교육의 내용뿐만 아니라 교육의 방법 등에서 많은 변화의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. ICT 활용교육에서 컴퓨터를 활용하기 위해서는 실생활에서 습득하거나 측정된 데이터를 컴퓨터에 입력하는 과정, 데이터 로깅(data logging), 으로부터 시작 한다. 최근의 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 데이터가 발생한 곳에서 즉시 받아들이고 또한 결과가 필요한 곳에서 즉시 정보를 제공하여 주는 컴퓨팅 환경을 구성하는 것이 매우 중요 하다고 본다. 이에 본 연구에서는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 기본 개념 중 하나인 실시간 데이터 로깅 기법을 응용하여 초등학교에서 ICT 활용 학습 활동 시 발생되는 각종 원시 데이터들을 컴퓨터로 가져오는 데이터로깅 모델을 제안하고, 초등학교 과학과를 중심으로 교육과정의 실험 요소들을 분석하여 이를 개발된 모델에 적용하였다. 데이터 로깅 모델 적용 결과, 손쉽게 해당 원시 데이터를 수집할 수 있었고 데이터의 처리 및 분석을 간편하게 수행하여 정확한 실험 데이터를 바탕으로 실험 결과에 대한 토의, 토론에 더욱 많은 시간을 할애할 수 있었으며 학교에서의 ICT 활용 교육의 새로운 모델을 제시하였다.다.ovoids에서도 각각의 점들에 대한 선량을 측정하였다. SAS와 SSAS의 직장에 미치는 선량차이는 실제 임상에서의 관심 점들과 가장 가까운 25 mm(R2)와 30 mm(R3)거리에서 각각 8.0% 6.0%였고 SAS와 FWAS의 직장에 미치는 선량차이는 25 mm(R2) 와 30 mm(R3)거리에서 각각 25.0% 23.0%로 나타났다. SAS와 SSAS의 방광에 미치는 선량차이는 20 m(Bl)와 30 mm(B2)거리에서 각각 8.0% 3.0%였고 SAS와 FWAS의 방광에 미치는 선량차이는 20 mm(Bl)와 30 mm(B2)거리에서 각각 23.0%, 17.0%로 나타났다. SAS를 SSAS나 FWAS로 대체하였을 때 직장에 미치는 선량은 SSAS는 최대 8.0 %, FWAS는 최대 26.0 %까지 감소되고 방광에 미치는 선량은 SSAS는 최대 8.0 % FWAS는 최대 23.0%까지 감소됨을 알 수 있었고 FWAS가 SSAS 보다 차폐효과가 더 좋은 것으로 나타났으며 이 두 종류의 shielded applicator set는 부인암의 근접치료시 직장과 방광으로 가는 선량을 감소시켜 환자치료의 최적화를 이룰 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.)한 항균(抗菌) 효과(效果)를 나타내었다. 이상(以上)의 결과(結果)로 보아 선방활명음(仙方活命飮)의 항균(抗菌) 효능(效能)은 군약(君藥)인 대황(大黃)의 성분(成分) 중(中)의 하나인 stilbene 계열(系列)의 화합물(化合物)인 Rhapontigenin과 Rhaponticin의 작용(作用)에 의(依)한 것이며, 이는 한의학(韓醫學) 방제(方劑) 원리(原理)인 군신좌사(君臣佐使) 이론(理論)에서 군약(君藥)이 주증(主症)에 주(主)로 작용(作用)하는 약물(藥物)이라는 것을 밝혀주는 것

An Web-based Training of a short bamboo flute performance by using UCC (UCC를 활용한 단소 실기 원격 교육)

  • These days UCC(User-created content) is being made and shared increasingly in entertainment and sports area, but its life cycle seems to be very short and the cases that it is used for an education or a learning purposes are not common yet. In this study a new methodology is suggested for adapting a UCC to a distance education. A teacher upload the movie that he or she made for the distance education system, so the students can carry out the self-centered learning procedure. After that, the students send their own movie files to the teacher, and get a feedback from the teacher as a evaluation of the course. In this study a distance education system was established as a prototype, and a short bamboo flute class was chosen for this study from the specialty developmental education program of the elementary school. According to the result of the questionnaire the students thought that their performance skill was improved a lot and they were satisfied with the learning program and the method of evaluation. They also answered that their skills dealing with a camera, a camcorder and a computer got much better. Moreover, most of the students thought that the relationships with their friends and their parents got better also because they spent lots of time together making and watching the movie files for this education program.

Multiplexing of UHDTV Based on MPEG-2 TS (MPEG-2 TS 기반의 UHDTV 다중화)

  • In this paper, a method of MPEG-2 Transport Stream (TS) multiplexing for Ultra HDTV (UHDTV) and its design and implementation as a SW tool is described. In practice, UHD video may be divided into several HD videos and each video is encoded in parallel. Therefore, it is necessary to synchronize and multiplex multiple bitstreams encoding each HD video for transmitting and storing UHD video. In this paper, it is assumed that 4 HD videos partitioning a UHD spatially are encoded as H.264/AVC and two 5.0 channel audios are encoded by AC-3. Therefore, 4 H.264/AVC elementary streams (ESs) and 2 AC-3 ESs is mainly considered in the TS multiplexing of UHD. For the carriage of H.264/AVC and AC-3 over MPEG-2 TS, PES packetization and TS multiplexing are designed and implemented based on the extended specification of the MPEG-2 Systems and ATSC (Digital audio compressed standard), respectively. The implemented UHD TS multiplexing tool emulates real time HW operation in the time unit corresponding to the duration of one TS packet transmission in a given TS rate. In particular, in order to satisfy the timing model, the buffers defined in the TS System Target Decoder (T-STD) are monitored and their statuses are considered in the scheduling of TS multiplexing. For UHD multiplexing, two kinds of multiplexing structures, which are UHD re-multiplexing and UHD program multiplexing, are implemented and their strength and weakness are investigated. The developed UHD TS multiplexing tool is tested and verified in terms of the syntax and semantics conformance and functionalities by using a commercial analyzer and real-time presentation tools.

Development of an Optimized Class Space and Map based on the Metaverse ZEP Platform (메타버스 ZEP 플랫폼 기반의 최적화된 수업 공간 및 맵 개발)

  • This paper aims to develop a map for optimized class space using ZEP among the metaverse platforms. As a research method, the classroom space was organized so that the subject of learning became a learner, and the classroom space was modified and supplemented to optimize while being applied to elementary school computer classes. The contents of the study investigated learners' prior perception of metaverse, and compared and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the metaverse platform. In addition, the map was designed by reflecting the results of the survey, and after applying the map to the class, necessary APIs and apps were installed to supplement it. As a result, the learner became the subject of learning in the metaverse space, freely identified the space, and actively participated in the class. In particular, we found that students who were passive offline and those who had a low participation rate due to lack of skills participated more actively. If API and JavaScript programs are added to collect log data of learners for learning analysis, real-time feedback is possible for learners, and learner feedback is possible for instructors with statistical data. If this is possible, the metaverse space can fully expect the role of a learning assistant for learners and a teaching assistant for instructors.

Effect of Learning Activities through Contents Creation for E-book on Self-directed Learning Ability (전자책 콘텐츠 제작을 통한 학습활동이 자기 주도적 학습 능력에 미치는 효과)

  • School education is changed to the learner-centered on 21th century knowledge base information-oriented society. The construction of infrastructure for smart education in the field of education has enabled various educational approaches using this and self-directed learning depending on the levels of learners. Thus, this study created the contents by applying ePUB format based-authoring tools for e-books to subject learning and analyzed the effect on the development of self-directed learning ability of learners. It was confirmed that the experimental group improved the self-directed learning ability better than the control group through e-book making activities from learning results on social studies and history curriculum of fifth graders. The result of this study showed a high level of satisfaction in all the subgroups of self-directed learning ability such as intrinsic motivation, openness to learning opportunities and autonomy.
