  • Differential subordination and superordination results are obtained for multivalent meromorphic functions associated with the Liu-Srivastava linear operator in the punctured unit disk. These results are derived by investigating appropriate classes of admissible functions. Sandwich-type results are also obtained.

  • In the present paper, we introduce and investigate a new subclass of multivalent functions associated with the Cho-Kwon-Srivastava operator $\tau^{\lambda}_p(a,c)$. Such results as inclusion relationships, convolution properties and criteria for starlikeness are proved. Relevant connections of the results presented here with those obtained in earlier works are also pointed out.

  • In this paper, we use the use the linear operator ʒxτ,σ(u, v, y)𝔣(z) and the concept of the subordination to analyse the general class of all analytic univalent functions. Our main results are implication properties between the classes of such functions and the application of these properties to special cases.

  • Let 𝒜n be the class of analytic functions f(z) of the form f(z) = z + ∑k=n+1 αkzk, n ∈ ℕ defined on the open unit disk 𝔻, and let $${\Omega}_n:=\{f{\in}{\mathcal{A}}_n:\|zf^{\prime}(z)-f(z)\|<{\frac{1}{2}},\;z{\in}{\mathbb{D}}\}$$. In this paper, we make use of differential subordination technique to obtain sufficient conditions for the class Ωn. Writing Ω := Ω1, we obtain inclusion properties of Ω with respect to functions which map 𝔻 onto certain parabolic regions and as a consequence, establish a relation connecting the parabolic starlike class 𝒮P and the uniformly starlike UST. Various radius problems for the class Ω are considered and the sharpness of the radii estimates is obtained analytically besides graphical illustrations.

  • Let α be a complex number with 𝕽α > 0. Let the functions f and g be analytic in the unit disc E = {z : |z| < 1} and normalized by the conditions f(0) = g(0) = 0, f'(0) = g'(0) = 1. In the present article, we study the differential subordinations of the forms $${\alpha}{\frac{z^2f^{{\prime}{\prime}}(z)}{f(z)}}+{\frac{zf^{\prime}(z)}{f(z)}}{\prec}{\alpha}{\frac{z^2g^{{\prime}{\prime}}(z)}{g(z)}}+{\frac{zg^{\prime}(z)}{g(z)}},\;z{\in}E,$$ and $${\frac{z^2f^{{\prime}{\prime}}(z)}{f(z)}}{\prec}{\frac{z^2g^{{\prime}{\prime}}(z)}{g(z)}},\;z{\in}E.$$ As consequences, we obtain a number of sufficient conditions for star likeness of analytic maps in the unit disc. Here, the symbol ' ${\prec}$ ' stands for subordination

  • The object of this paper to construct a new class $$A^m_{{\mu},{\lambda},{\delta}}({\alpha},{\beta},{\gamma},t,{\Psi})$$ of bi-univalent functions of complex order defined in the open unit disc. The second and the third coefficients of the Taylor-Maclaurin series for functions in the new subclass are determined. Several special consequences of the results are also indicated.

  • The best constants for two distinct weak-type inequalities for martingales and their differential subordinates with values in some spaces isomorphic to a Hilbert space are shown to be the same. This extends the result of Burkholder shown in the Hilbert space setting.
