  • In this series, we investigate the calculation of mean values of derivatives of Dirichlet L-functions in function fields using the analogue of the approximate functional equation and the Riemann Hypothesis for curves over finite fields. The present paper generalizes the results obtained in the first paper. For µ ≥ 1 an integer, we compute the mean value of the µ-th derivative of quadratic Dirichlet L-functions over the rational function field. We obtain the full polynomial in the asymptotic formulae for these mean values where we can see the arithmetic dependence of the lower order terms that appears in the asymptotic expansion.

  • In this paper, we establish an asymptotic formula for mean value of $L^{(k)}({\frac{1}{2}},\;{\chi}_P)$ averaging over ℙ2g+1 and over ℙ2g+2 as g → ∞ in odd characteristic. We also give an asymptotic formula for mean value of $L^{(k)}({\frac{1}{2}},\;{\chi}_u)$ averaging over 𝓘g+1 and over 𝓕g+1 as g → ∞ in even characteristic.

  • The Hadamard type inequalities for fractional integral operators of convex functions are studied at very large scale. This paper provides the Hadamard type inequalities for refined (α,h-m)-convex functions by utilizing Liouville-Caputo fractional (L-CF) derivatives. These inequalities give refinements of already existing (L-CF) inequalities of Hadamard type for many well known classes of functions provided the function h is bounded above by ${\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}}$.

  • In this paper, a new identity is given. On the basis of this identity, we establish some new estimates of Milne's quadrature rule, for functions whose first derivative is s-convex. We discuss the cases where the derivatives are bounded as well as Lipschitzian. Some illustrative applications are given.

  • Some new $\check{C}$eby$\check{s}$ev type inequalities have been developed by working on functions whose first derivatives are absolutely continuous and the second derivatives belong to the usual Lebesgue space $L_{\infty}[a,\;b]$. A unified treatment of the special cases is also given.

  • On the unit ball of $\mathbb{C}^n$, the space of those holomorphic functions satisfying the mean Lipschitz condition $${\int}_0^1\;{\omega}_p(t,f)^q\frac{dt}{t^1+{\alpha}q}\;<\;{\infty}$$ is characterized by integral growth conditions of the tangential derivatives as well as the radial derivatives, where ${\omega}_p(t,f)$ denotes the $L^p$ modulus of continuity defined in terms of the unitary transformations of $\mathbb{C}^n$.

  • In this paper, we investigate the uniqueness problem of entire functions sharing two polynomials with their k-th derivatives. We look into the conjecture given by $L{\ddot{u}}$, Li and Yang [Bull. Korean Math. Soc., 51(2014), 1281-1289] for the case $F=f^nP(f)$, where f is a transcendental entire function and $P(z)=a_mz^m+a_{m-1}z^{m-1}+{\ldots}+a_1z+a_0({\not{\equiv}}0)$, m is a nonnegative integer, $a_m,a_{m-1},{\ldots},a_1,a_0$ are complex constants and obtain a result which improves and generalizes many previous results. We also provide some examples to show that the conditions taken in our result are best possible.

  • In this paper, we study the uniqueness of entire functions and prove the following theorem. Let n(${\geq}$ 5), k be positive integers, and let $S_1$ = {z : $z^n$ = 1}, $S_2$ = {$a_1$, $a_2$, ${\cdots}$, $a_m$}, where $a_1$, $a_2$, ${\cdots}$, $a_m$ are distinct nonzero constants. If two non-constant entire functions f and g satisfy $E_f(S_1,2)$ = $E_g(S_1,2)$ and $E_{f^{(k)}}(S_2,{\infty})$ = $E_{g^{(k)}}(S_2,{\infty})$, then one of the following cases must occur: (1) f = tg, {$a_1$, $a_2$, ${\cdots}$, $a_m$} = t{$a_1$, $a_2$, ${\cdots}$, $a_m$}, where t is a constant satisfying $t^n$ = 1; (2) f(z) = $de^{cz}$, g(z) = $\frac{t}{d}e^{-cz}$, {$a_1$, $a_2$, ${\cdots}$, $a_m$} = $(-1)^kc^{2k}t\{\frac{1}{a_1},{\cdots},\frac{1}{a_m}\}$, where t, c, d are nonzero constants and $t^n$ = 1. The results in this paper improve the result given by Fang (M.L. Fang, Entire functions and their derivatives share two finite sets, Bull. Malaysian Math. Sc. Soc. 24(2001), 7-16).
