유아의 어린이집 재원시간과 또래 유능성이 일상적 스트레스에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of 3-5 year olds' Time in Daycare Centers and Peer Competence on Daily Stress)

  • This study aimed to investigate measures which could reduce the daily stress of 3-5-years-olds who are attending daycare centers, by examining the effects of 3-5-years-olds' time spent in daycare centers and peer competence on daily stress. To this end, two hundred and fifty 3-5-years-olds attending the same daycare for more than 6 months were selected from 5 daycare centers in Daejeon Metropolitan City and tested for their daily stress levels. In addition their teachers completed peer competence tests and a short questionnaire regarding the 3-5-years-olds. In terms of the results, those 3-5-years-olds who spent more than 7 hours or longer in daycare centers were found to have a higher level of daily stress than the 3-5-years-olds who spent less than 7 hours. Additionally, those 3-5-years-olds who returned home after 6 p.m were found to have a higher level of daily stress than the 3-5-years-olds who returned home before 6 p.m. Moreover, it was found that the more time 3-5-years-olds spent in daycare centers and the lower their peer competences were, the more daily stress they seemed to experience.

국가직무능력표준(NCS)에 대한 보육교사의 인식 연구 (A Recognition Study of how Child Care Teachers Implicate National Competency Standards)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to explore the ways in which childcare teachers understand and implicate the standards of national competency by searching for and analyzing the awareness of it. Methods: For this, the survey was conducted on 264 child care teachers working in daycare centers. The screening tool was constructed based on the content provided in the child care field of the NCS, and the questionnaire items were developed by referring to previous research. Results: Recognition of the child care teacher's awareness of the NCS was very low. The activity of child care teachers for the category of capability proposed by the NCS showed significant differences depending on work experience. The degree of awareness of child care teachers for the category of capability proposed by the NCS showed significant differences depending on work experience. The difference between the activity of child care teachers and the degree of awareness of child care teachers for the category of capability proposed by the NCS showed significant differences. Conclusion: In the future, it is necessary for the NCS to be constantly supplemented and ensure that the capability to perform practical functions is fulfilled in daycare centers.

텍스트 마이닝을 활용한 어린이집교사 온라인 상담의 내용분석 (Text Mining Analysis of the Online Counseling Contents of Nursery School Teachers)

  • Objective: This study aimed to analyze the counseling contents of daycare center teachers by using text mining and semantic network analysis methods to find the necessary support directions for daycare teachers and to improve the quality of child-care. Methods: Five hundred thirteen cases of counseling recorded on the open bulletin board of online counseling (Naver Bands for Nursery Teacher Counseling) were collected, and frequency analysis, centrality solidarity analysis, and machine learning-based topic analysis were conducted using the NetMiner4.3 program. Results: First, 'teacher-to-child ratio' was highest in the frequency. Second, 'colleagues' were all high in all centrality analysis. Third, machine learning-based topical analysis shows that the topics were categorized as subjects about 'childcare and education', 'working environment that supports professional development' and 'working condition', and among them, 'first-time teacher concerns' accounted for 44% of the total counseling content. Conclusion/Implications: This study implied that it is necessary to provide high-quality child-care and education to infants by lowering the 'teacher-to-child ratio', and a systematic program is needed to help improve effective communication skills in interpersonal relationships such as between parents, fellow teachers, and principals. In addition, self-development and efforts to improve teachers expertise should be prioritized in order to improve infant care quality and quality of teachers.

어린이집에서의 IoT 헬스케어 디바이스 활용에 대한 교사와 부모의 인식 및 요구 (A Study on the Recognition and Demand of Teachers and Parents of Using IoT Health-Care Devices in Day-Care Centers)

  • 본 연구는 어린이집 IoT 헬스케어 디바이스 활용에 대한 부모와 교사의 인식과 요구를 실증적으로 알아보고자 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 부모 200명, 어린이집 교사 200명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 22.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, t-검정, 𝑥2 검정을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, IoT 헬스케어 디바이스 활용에 대하여 교사가 부모에 비해 긍정적 인식과 지지도를 나타내어 더 높은 호감도를 보였으며 정보유출문제에 대해 부모보다 높은 인식을 나타내었다. 둘째 어린이집 IoT 헬스케어 디바이스 활용 요구로 교사, 부모 모두 응급상황 대처 영역과 웨어러블 형태에 대한 요구를 가장 높게 나타내었다. 비용은 부모, 교사 모두 기관과 부모가 공동으로 금액 부담의 요구를 가장 높게 나타내었다. 본 연구결과를 중심으로 어린이집에서 IoT 헬스케어 디바이스 활용 가능성을 논의하였다.

보육교사의 직무스트레스와 직무만족도가 심리적 행복감에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Daycare Teachers' Job Stress and Job Satisfaction on Their Psychological Happiness)

  • The study was conducted by regression analysis based on a survey with the subjects of 107 daycare teachers working at 120 daycare facilities located in Gyeonggi-do, so as to investigate the influence of daycare teachers' 'job stress' and 'job satisfaction' on their 'psychological happiness'. The results are: first, there was significant difference in job stress(F(3,103)=2.85, p<.05), job satisfaction(F(3,103)=5.88, p<.05) and psychological happiness(F(3,103)=3.52, p<.05) accordant to the kind of work facilities among social demographic variables. In the correlation between 'job stress' and 'job satisfaction', there was negative correlation(r= .-56, p<.(01). Second, in the correlation between 'job stress' and 'psychological happiness', there was negative correlation(r= .-41, p<.001). Third, in the correlation between 'job satisfaction' and 'psychological happiness', there was positive correlation(r= .54, p<.001). In the relationship between 'job satisfaction' and 'job stress', job stress had influence on job satisfaction($R^2$= .43, F=79.42, p<.001). The explanatory power of it was 43%. In the relationship between 'job stress' and 'psychological happiness', 'job stress' had influence on 'psychological happiness'($R^2$= .41, F=21.46, p<.001). The explanatory power of it was 17%. In the relationship between 'job satisfaction' and 'psychological happiness', 'job satisfaction' had influence on 'psychological happiness'($R^2$= 59, F=5457, p<.001). The explanatory power of it was 34%.

Q 방법론을 활용한 어린이집 원장의 역량에 대한 인식 분석 (Analysis of the Perceptions on Daycare Center Directors' Competence Based on the Q Methodology)

  • Objective: This research examines the understanding of the competencies required from the director of a childcare center. It also analyzes the characteristics of the capabilities of a director of a daycare center. The research questions are as follows: First, what are the competencies of a childcare center director? Second, what are the characteristics of the competencies of a childcare center director? Methods: In this study, the Q methodology was applied. First, the Q population was identified based on prior studies and through open questionnaires and in-depth interviews targeting 71 teachers and directors of childcare centers. Next, 40 Q samples were selected. Second, P samples were selected targeting the 30 directors, Q sort was conducted, and the data were analyzed using the QUANL program. Results: The main results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, four types of competencies were demanded from the director of a daycare center. Second, the competencies required from the director of a daycare center were accountability-centered, functional-management-centered, human-relationshipcentered, and rationality-centered capabilities. Conclusion/Implications: The policy-level of and educational ways to support the competencies of a director of a daycare center were discussed.

어린이집에서의 만5세 유아의 일과 분석 (A Qualitative Study of Five-Year-Old Children's Daily Activities at the Daycare Center)

  • In order toidentify the daily activities of five-year-old children in a daycare center, the 23 children in "Yellow" class at "Yellow" Daycare Center were observed for seven months. Research was informed by a qualitative approach. Findings were that : children were rigidly attached to a time frame built into their daily classroom schedule, arranged by time and classroom space allotted to each unit. The meaning to the children was to be found in their "busyness;" they were very busy finalizing activities imposed by teachers within a short period of time. They spent most of their time moving about from one space to another within the classroom, and they played with their mostly artificial toys under rules set by the teacher.

보육교사의 전문성이 직무성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Childcare Teachers Professionalism on Job Performance)

  • 본 연구는 보육교사의 전문성이 직무성과에 미치는 영향정도를 분석하고 보육교사의 직무성과를 높여 교사 효능감을 증진 시키고 직무 만족에 도움이 되는 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 수집된 자료의 통계처리는 SSPPWIN 21.0 프로그램을 통해 살펴본 결과, 보육교사가 인식하고 있는 전문적 지식과 이해, 기술, 태도의 수준이 높으면 높을수록 직무성과가 높게 나타났으며, 보육교사의 연령과 학력, 경력이 높을수록 전문성에 대한 수준이 높았으며, 전문성에 대한 필요성과 중요성을 자각한다고 볼 수 있다. 또한 어린이집 유형별에 맞는 운영 방안을 개발하고, 보육서비스의 질을 높이기 위한 보육관련 행정기관이나 지자체 차원의 다양한 정책적, 제도적 뒷받침이 필요하다. 보육교사 전문성과 직무성과 증진을 위한 프로그램을 개발하고 정기적인 교육, 연수 및 워크샵 등을 실시하여 보육현장에 적용할 수 있도록 지원해야 할 것이다. 본 연구는 보육교사의 전문성이 직무성과에 미치는 영향을 확인함으로써 어린이집 보육교사의 바람직한 전문성 및 효율적인 조직목표달성을 위한 어린이집 전문성 수준의 증진 방안과 어린이집 보육교사의 직무성과를 높여 교사 효능감을 증진 시키고 직무 만족에 도움이 되는 기초자료를 제공하는데 의의가 있다.

미취학아동의 1일 활동량, 활동계수 평가 및 유아보육시설의 실외놀이 실태 (Assessment of Physical Activity, Activity Coefficient of Preschool Children and Actual Condition of Daycare Center Outdoor Play)

  • The purpose of this study was to assess physical activities and activity coefficient of preschool children and was to give some concrete information to activate outdoor play and to probe the suggestions to activate outdoor play. 42 preschool children (17 boys and 25 girls) were included. Body weight and height were measured and one-day activity diaries were collected by interviewing with their parents and kindergarten teachers. To measure physical activity during outdoor play, this study was researched the current conditions and content of outdoor play activity in daycare centers, and teacher's perceptions of that outdoor play. The average age of the subjects was 5.0 years. Average height, weight, body fat and body muscle of subjects were 108.9 cm, 18.9 kg, 17.7% and 26.8%, respectively. The subjects spent about 10 hours 39 minutes sleeping; 4 hours 16 minutes personal hygiene and computer working. They spent 88.2% of 24 hours (one day) in "very light activities" and 11.3% in "light activities". Activity coefficient (1.34) of weekday was significantly higher than that of weekend (1.21). And in this study, it was found that most of daycare centers (87.7%) have outdoor play space, 95.2% of them were garden. The teachers recognized that have a outdoor play frequency everyday (48%), three or four times (46%) in a week but they have three or four times (38%), one or two times (30%) because of various indoor program. Also, they recognized that have a outdoor play expending time 21-30 minutes (48%), 31-40 minutes (26%) but they have 21-30 minutes (64%). They answered that have frequency and expending time less than their recognition of outdoor play. Most of daycare center teachers perceived outdoor play to be as important as indoor play, and the teachers believed outdoor play supports children's physical, cognitive, social, and language development. The results of this study may be used to utilize as a basic data for estimate physical activity for preschool children and developed that exercise program to increase physical activity of daycare center outdoor play.

융합시대를 위한 보육교사의 다문화역량이 조직효과성에 미치는 영향 (The Multicultural Competency of Childcare Teachers for the Fusion Age Impact on Organizational Effectiveness)

  • 본 연구는 보육교사를 대상으로 다문화역량이 조직효과성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 밝히고 어린이집의 조직효과성을 향상시키기 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이 목적을 달성하기 위하여 C대학교에 재학 중인 보육교사 258명을 편의 표집하여 설문조사 하였고, PASW를 활용하여 통계처리 하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 다문화지식과 조직생산성, 조직적응성, 조직몰입, 직무만족간의 관계에서는 조직생산성, 조직적응성과 직무만족간의 관계에서 정적인 상관관계가 있었다. 둘째. 다문화인식과 조직생산성, 조직적응성, 조직몰입간의 관계에서는 모두 정적인 상관관계가 있었다. 셋째, 다문화지식과 다문화인식이 조직몰입, 조직적응성, 조직생산성에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 다문화지식이 직무만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 따라서 융합시대에 어린이집의 조직효과성을 향상시키기 위해서는 다문화지식과 다문화인식에 관련된 교육 프로그램이 보육교사들에게 필요하다.
