  • Let L/F be a finite separable extension of Henselian valued fields with same residue fields $\overline{L} = \overline{F}$. Let D be an inertially split division algebra over L, and let $^cD$ be the underlying division algebra of the corestriction $cor_{L/F} (D)$ of D. We show that the index $ind(^cD) of ^cD$ divides $[Z(\overline{D}) : Z(\overline {^cD})] \cdot ind(D), where Z(\overline{D})$ is the center of the residue division ring $\overline{D}$.

  • We show that an Artinian O-sequence $h_0,h_1,{\cdots},h_{d-1},h_d\;=\;h_{d-1},h_{d+l}\;>\;h_d$ of codimension 3 is not level when $h_{d-1}\;=\;h_d\;=\;d + i\;and\;h{d+1}\;=\;d+(i+1)\;for\;i\;=\;1,\;2,\;and\;3$, which is a partial answer to the question in [9]. We also introduce an algorithm for finding noncancelable Betti numbers of minimal free resolutions of all possible Artinian O-sequences based on the theorem of Froberg and Laksov in [2].

  • In this paper we investigate necessary conditions for the mirror algebra $(M(X),{\bigoplus},(0,0))$ to be a $d$-algebra (having the condition (D5), resp.) when (X, *, 0) is a d-algebra (having the condition (D5), resp.). Moreover, we obtain the necessary conditions for M(X) of a $d^*$-algebra X to be a $d^*$-algebra.

  • In this paper, we introduce and explore suggested notions of 'above', 'below' and 'between' in general groupoids, Bin(X), as well as in more detail in several well-known classes of groupoids, including groups, semigroups, selective groupoids (digraphs), d/BCK-algebras, linear groupoids over fields and special cases, in order to illustrate the usefulness of these ideas. Additionally, for groupoid-classes (e.g., BCK-algebras) where these notions have already been accepted in a standard form, we look at connections between the several definitions which result from our introduction of these ideas as presented in this paper.

  • Let G be a finiteg oroup. We denote BG a classifying space of G, which a contractible universal principal G bundle EG. The stable type of BG does not determine G up to isomorphism. A simple example [due to N. Minami]is given by $Q_{4p} \times Z/2$ and $D_{2p} \times Z/4$ where ps is an odd prime, $Q_{4p} is the generalized quarternion group of order 4p and $D_{2p}$ is the dihedral group of order 2p. However the paper [6] gives us a necessary and sufficient condition for $BG_1$ and $BG_2$ to be stably equivalent localized et pp. The local stable type of BG depends on the conjegacy classes of homomorphisms from the p-groups Q into G. This classification theorem simplifies if G has a normal sylow p-subgroup. Then the stable homotopy type depends on the Weyl group of the sylow p-subgroup.

  • In this paper, we introduce an operation denoted by [$Br_e$], a bracket operation, which maps an arbitrary groupoid ($X,{\ast}$) on a set X to another groupoid $(X,{\bullet})=[Br_e](X,{\ast})$ which on groups corresponds to sending a pair of elements (x, y) of X to its commutator $xyx^{-1}y^{-1}$. When applied to classes such as d-algebras, BCK-algebras, a variety of results is obtained indicating that this construction is more generally useful than merely for groups where it is of fundamental importance.

  • We consider some properties of the completely bounded representations of C*-algebras. We discuss the relation between the k-similarity and the property $D_k$ and get the result every k-similar C*-algebra has property $D_k$. Moreover we determine the similarity problem for the algebra C$\bigoplus$C precisely and constructively.
