Korean traditional medicine has been used for the treatment of the various diseases based on both oriental medicinal theory and clinical trials. Thus, the prescriptions of Korean traditional medicine would be useful for the development of new therapeutics. This research focuses on the fundamental study in Korean traditional prescriptions for the development of new hepatoprotective agents. We found two prescriptions. Injinho-Tang and Osumogwa-Tang, showed the significant DPPH free radical scavenging and hepatoprotective effect, respectively. It is well-known that free radical scavenging effect is related to the prevention of various pathological events including liver injury. This paper deals with hepatoprotective effects on tacrine-induced cytotoxicity in Hep G2 cells, free radicals scavenging on both DPPH and superoxide of above two prescriptions. Hot water extract of Injinho-Tang did not show the significant hepatoprotective effect on tacrine-induced cytotoxicity in Hep G2 cells, however, it shows the significant scavenging effects for both DPPH and superoxide radicals. On the other hand, all of the hot water extracts of constituent herbal drugs in Injinho-Tang exhibited the promising protective effect on tacrine-induced cytotoxicity in Hep G2 cells. Of these, water extract of Rhei Rhizoma showed the most prominent effect on tacrine-induced cytotoxicity in Hep G2 cells. Bioassay-guided fractionation of Rhei Rhizoma extract has furnished four compounds, and their chemical structures have been identified by comparison of their spectral data with those of literature as chrysophanol (1), emodin (2), 3,5-dihydroxy-4'- methoxystilbene (3), and rhapontigenin (4), respectively. Among the isolated compounds, compounds 2-4 revealed the significant hepatoprotective effect in vitro when their $EC_{50}$ values compare with that of silybin, as a positive control. It also exhibited that emodin possessed the most hepatoprotective effect among these active compounds. In case of Osumogwa-Tang, its hot water extract showed the moderate protective effect on tacrine-induced cytotoxicity in Hep G2 cells. Hot water extract of Chaenomelis Fructus, one of the constituent herbal drug of this prescription, exhibited the significant hepatoprotective effect with $EC_{50}$ value of $7.8{\pm}0.1\;{\mu}g/ml$, however, it showed strong cytotoxicity in Hep G2 cells above the concentration of $25\;{\mu}g/ml$. It was revealed that both hot water extract of Evodiae Fructus and its butanol soluble fraction showed the moderate hepatoprotective effect but concentration-dependent activity in Hep G2 assay system. Two quinolone alkaloids, evocarpine and dihydroevocarpine, also tested for their hepatoprotective effects on tacrine-induced cytotoxicity in Hep G2 cells, however, these two compounds derived from the Evodiae Fructus as the major constituents did not show in vitro hepatoprotective effect. From these results, it would be necessary to further isolation of its hepatoprotective compounds from the butanol soluble fraction of the hot water extract of Evodiae Fructus.

The main goal of this research is to invest the difficulties in the process of developing serious game for science learning to acquire the suggestion. We analysed the journals written by developers of game scenario on the procedure of the development and on the review of the accomplished game. Then we also interviewed the scenario developers as well as game developers. When interviewing the game developers, we passed them the thoughts and questions of scenario developers. The possible difficulties in developing serious game are form the difference of cognitions on the skills which can be embodied in the development process and interaction and communication problem between scenario developers and game developers. As a consequence of the research, we acquired some suggestions for developing serious game as follows; 1) Scenario developers and game developers must understand the concepts of serious game as well as learning theory; 2) Both scenario developers and game developers should be aware of secured technological capacity and allowed time period. 3) Scenario developer should take a part of game developer' role as using a learning contents authoring tool; 4) Scenario developers have to consistently interact with game developers in developing the games; 5) Scenario should be concretely described in detail; and 6) A Supervisor is essential to control both scenario developers and game developers.

Accurate prediction of future settlement is essential for the settlement control of soft soil by pre-loading method. To predict future settlement in clayey soft soils, several methods like Asaoka method, Hyperbolic Method and Hoshino method are currently being used. These methods predict the future sett1ement by mathmatical treatment of the measured settlement data on the basis of consolidtion theory and empiricism. But the correlation coefficient between the measured and the predicted settlement was relatively low (0.8~0.9). Also, the prediction of future settlemet for the design load is very difficult. In this article, the measured field settlement data was treated as the the field consolidation test. Hence, condolidation coefficient(Cv) and compression index(Cc) was evaluated from the field settlement data. Cv and Cc values from field data was used to calculate the degree of consolidation and settlement at desired time. By this method, the correlation coefficent between the measured and the predicted settlement was significantly increased(0.97~0.99). Also the settlement by the design load after the improvement of soft soil could be predicted reasonably. This method is quite rational and sound but it requires thousands of calculation steps. Today, by the aid of low priced personal computers above mentioned technique could be used much acre economically and effectively than conventional methods. This article presented the mechanisms and capacities of this method and demonstrated the enhanced correlation coefficient when applied to actual field settlement data.

In a sense that achievement emotion is directly associated with achievement activity of students and its result, drastic changes in educational environment such as expansion of e-learning due to COVID-19 may have a large impact on the achievement emotion of students inevitably. However, studies on the foregoing still remain insufficient, and development of a questionnaire capable of making a quantitative measurement on the achievement emotion of students under the environment of e-learning may become the basis of relevant studies, so this study developed the e-learning Achievement Emotions Questionnaire-Korean Middle school Science(e-AEQ-KMS) and verified its validity. e-AEQ-KMS in this study was developed based on the Achievement Emotions Questionnaire-Korean Middle school Science (AEQ-KMS) and by reflecting characteristics of e-learning science class. With 226 questions in total, the questionnaire is composed to measure 9 kinds of achievement emotion such as enjoyment, hope, pride, relief, anger, anxiety, hopelessness, shame, and boredom under 3 academic situations of class situation, learning situation and testing situation. The result of this study has a great significance in the way that it set out a framework for making a comparative analysis quantitatively on the achievement emotion of Korean middle school students in science for e-learning classes.
Korean society is facing the 2017 regime and the era of the fourth industrial revolution. University education is trying to select agendas that focuses on public interest and innovation, which are key words, for change. Unlike recent efforts, practical changes are insufficient. There is a relative lack of discussion on the essence and theory of university education in South Korea. This study looked at the current location of Korean university education and discussed the essential direction from a point of view on critical pedagogy. So far, Korean university education has operated under the control of neo-liberalism for more than 20 years since the May 31 educational reform in 1995. Democracy and deindustrialization, the direction pursued by the 2017 regime and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, differs from neo-liberalism. Therefore, it is necessary to reflect on neo-liberalism and seek a subsequent turn of direction. Henry Giroux has been critical of the neo-liberalistic policy of American education, which has been a major discourse since 1980, and has discussed proposals for various changes. In particular, it provides clear coordinates for the features of human resources as educated people. For example, they are intellectuals, border intellectuals, and public intellectuals. These intellectuals have independent, autonomous, active, self-reliant characteristics and have a duty and accountability to pursue for public interests. It is also closely related to the 2017 regime and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Along with this discussion, university education seems to need serious and rigorous discussion and consideration.

The study has been derived through the empirical analysis so as to find the usage behavior of cloud-based common collaboration platform. Independent variables of the cloud-based platform have been selected as flexibility, reliability, versatility, security and interaction, which have been selected by utilizing UTAUT theory. After selecting the use intent as a parameter, usage behavior was been finally selected as a dependent variable. The firm type was used as a control variable. We used AMOS 23.0 and SPSS 23.0 statistical programs for the hypothesis test and distributed the questionnaires to users using the cloud-based common collaboration platform. Then, a total of 180 copies from distributed questionnaires were used for the analysis. The results showed that reliability, security and interaction had a positive effect on intention to use. On the other hand, flexibility and versatility did not affect intention to use positively. Finally, it was verified that the intention to use had a positive effect on the use behavior. At last, it showed that there is a moderation effect according to the type of company.
While new service development has become one of the most popular topics among practitioners and academics, methodologies development for new service development is only in its infancy. Especially, despite the growing interests in open innovations that effectively utilize external resources for R&D, existing research on new service development methodology designed to use external resources is scant. This article proposes a new methodology to generate new service business models that utilize massive external resources in combination with internal resources using ICT. The "Open Collaboration Innovation Methodology (OCIM)" is built based upon the theory of open innovation model and social psychology theories on behavioral motivation for cooperation. The model begins with the procedures to identify external resources that meet service objectives and requirements, and suggests motivation, control and monitoring mechanisms to implement a new service model. A business case is followed to demonstrate the use of the model. We expect that this model can be practically used by companies that are planning for developing new business models, and will provide a better understanding on open collaboration models, collective intelligence and crowd sourcing models.

This is because when entering the forest, good environments that prevent the 6th consciousness from growing delusions way the operation of the five senses are contained in the forest, This study is a preliminary study that analyzed the effects based on the natural environmental healing factor and Buddhist theory of forests based on previous studies, As a result of examining whether Buddhism can maximize the healing effect of forest healing, it was confirmed that it can contribute to activation along with existing forest healing techniques, The verification of the effectiveness will be left as a follow-up research project through future experimental research, and this study is expected to contribute to the activation of forest healing effect.

To improve the productivity of the earthwork, a fleet management system for construction equipment was suggested in previous studies. But there were some gaps between theory and practice. To overcome this problem, some opinions are gathered form experts and field engineers and four improvements have been proposed and reflected in the system. First, the previous system consists of one hardware module, so it is hard to install it at a control office and construction equipment at the same time. The server module for the office and the mobile module for construction equipment are separately developed. Second, the transportation algorithm that is used in the previous system can generate shortest paths for the earthwork distribution, but embankment areas are not gathered. This situation leads to a decrease in compaction productivity. A modified algorithm for earthwork distribution is suggested. Third, the automated coordinate transformation is performed to show the position of construction equipment on the 3D terrain in real-time. Fourth, construction equipment groups should be formed in the initial stage of earthwork and the number of equipment of each groups should be changed by operation status and site environment. But this functions did not work properly in the previous system. This problem is corrected in the proposed system. The improvements can make the proposed system much more realistic one and can leads to an increase in the productivity of earthwork operations.
In order to secure the reliability of pathogenic microorganisms such as Cryptosporidium and Giaridia, which are chlorophilic protozoans, membrane filtration systems have been widely used in water purification process. hese integrity tests are classified into direct and indirect methods. Based on the bubble point theory, the pressure-based test in the direct method is presented in the USEPA Guidance Manual with sensitivity to detect a minimum size of pathogenic microorganisms of $3{\mu}m$ or more. Indirect methods are widely used in that they are capable of continuous operation in on-line state, but there is a very low sensitivity of damage detection compared to the direct method, and there is a limit that can not specify the damage area, so it is necessary to improve this sensitivity. In this study, we compared the LRVDIT and UCL values according to the type of membrane defect, number of fiber breaks, and initial set pressure value through the Integrity Test by Pressure Decay Test (PDT).
