  • A noble single-ended input, double-balanced mixer topology is proposed. The mixer incorporates the common-source amplifier input stage with inductive degeneration for impedance matching. The analysis based on simulations shows that the overall performance of the mixer is excellent and is adjustable by varying the input transistor size to give best characteristics for the given linearity specifications.

  • We treat the problem of estimating reliability R = P[Y < X] in the stress-strength model in which a unit of strength X is subfected to enviromental stress Y./ In this paper several nonparametric approaches to estimation of R are analyzed and compared by simulations.

  • In this paper, shock response analysis considering the elastic effects of guard robot is performed using computer simulations when a machine gun of guard robot fires a shot continuously. The bodies of guard robot are modelled in flexible multi-body. The results of its analysis is compared with results of rigid bodies. The tools of computer simulation is used in Multi-body dynamics program.

  • This paper is aimed to study the computer simulation of sintering process for ceramics by Monte Carlo and molecular dynamics methods. Plural mechanisms of mass transfer were designed in the MC simulation of sintering process for micron size particles; the transfer of pore lattices for shrinkage and the transfer of solid lattices for grain growth ran in the calculation arrays. The MD simulation was performed in the case of nano size particles of ionic ceramics and showed the characteristic features in sintering process at atomic levels. The MC and MD simulations for sintering process are useful for microstructural design for ceramics.

  • In this paper, we introduce a multipath congestion control algorithm for audio/video streaming, called MPSQRT. MPSQRT is derived from single-path Square-Root TCP (SQRT TCP) designed for multimedia streaming, where a lower variation of sending rate is important. Based on the fluid model of SQRT for single-path, we extend it towards spreading concurrently packets across multiple paths ensuring load-balancing and fairness to SQRT at shared bottleneck. Through simulations, we evaluate the proposed protocol under various network conditions.

  • This paper is concerned with the study of improving the faults of phase control scheme and suggesting a new approach to the control of load circuit with AC source. AC current control can restrict the magnitude of current within the given upper and lower current and make current continuous during every cycle. Also the harmonic contents of current can be greatly reduced using this control scheme. Analog computer and digital computer simulations reveal that the current control scheme is superior to the phase control scheme in controlling the power supply to the load R-L. Experimintal results demonstrate the feasibility and verify the operation of current controlled system.

  • In this paper, a microstrip antenna is designed using a rectangular patch. To find characteristics of the antenna, computer simulations of the rectangular single microstrip patch antenna are performed with changing width. And we compared the result of computer simulation with the experimental value. Through the results, we found that the 3-D FDTD method is an effective method for designing microstrip patch antenna. According to simulation the resonant point has been found it in the frequency received from GPS satellite. It is thought that make it match by adjusting the feedpoint.

  • An efficient interpolation FIR filter structure for high-density and low-power electronic devices is proposed. The proposed structure is based on polyphase decomposition property and look-up table method. By computer-aided design simulations, it is shown that the use of the proposed method can result in reduction in the number of gates by 54% and can reduce power consumption by 9%.

  • A trench MOS barrier Schottky (TMBS) rectifier is proposed which utilizes the upper half of the trench sidewall as an active area. The proposed structure improves the forward voltage drop by 20$\%$ in comparison with the conventional one without degradation in breakdown voltage. An analytical model for the field distribution is given and compared with two-dimensional numerical simulations.
