  • We introduce some new type of admissible mappings and prove a coupled coincidence point theorem by using newly defined concepts for generalized compatible pair of mappings satisfying ${\alpha}-{\psi}$ contraction on partially ordered metric spaces. We also prove the uniqueness of a coupled fixed point for such mappings in this setup. Furthermore, we give an example and an application to integral equations to demonstrate the applicability of the obtained results. Our results generalize some recent results in the literature.

  • In the present paper, we prove common fixed point theorems for single-valued and set-valued occasionally weakly compatible mappings in Menger spaces. Our results improve and extend the results of Chen and Chang [Chi-Ming Chen and Tong-Huei Chang, Common fixed point theorems in Menger spaces, Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 2006 (2006), Article ID 75931, Pages 1-15].

  • We establish coincidence point theorem for S-non-decreasing mappings under Geraghty-type contraction on partially ordered metric spaces. With the help of obtain result, we derive two dimensional results for generalized compatible pair of mappings F, G : X2 → X. As an application, we obtain the solution of integral equation and also give an example to show the usefulness of our results. Our results improve, sharpen, enrich and generalize various known results.

  • The object of this paper is to introduce the notion of compatible mapping of type(${\alpha}$) in intuitionistic fuzzy metric space, and to establish common fixed point theorem for five mappings in intuitionistic fuzzy metric space. Our research are an extension for the results of [1] and [7].

  • In this paper, we present some common fixed point theorems for two pairs of weakly compatible self-mappings on multiplicative metric spaces satisfying a generalized Meir-Keeler type contractive condition. The results obtained in this paper extend, improve and generalize some well known comparable results in literature.

  • We establish a tripled coincidence and common tripled fixed point theorem for hybrid pair of mappings satisfying new contractive condition. To find tripled coincidence points, we do not use the continuity of any mapping involved therein. An example is also given to validate our result. We improve, extend and generalize several known results.

  • In the present paper, we utilize the notion of converse commuting mappings due to L$\ddot{u}$ [On common fixed points for converse commuting self-maps on a metric spaces, Acta. Anal. Funct. Appl. 4(3) (2002), 226-228] and prove a common fixed point theorem in Menger space using an implicit relation. We also give an illustrative example to support our main result.
