This research investigated the opinions of teachers and directors on the integration of early childhood education and childcare centers in Korea. Participants were 800 teachers and directors working with young children in kindergartens and childcare centers. The survey consisted of questions regarding reasons, feasibility, and means of integration, as well as tasks that should be achieved prior to integration. Results showed that the participants were skeptical about executing the integration in practice even though they agreed to the integration of education and care in early childhood. They reported the integration of auspices should take place prior to integration of education and care in early childhood.

본 연구는 현장 중심의 어린이집 교사 양성 교육과정을 개발하기 위하여 교사, 원장, 보육관련학과 재학생 257명을 대상으로 실시되었으며, 직무요구조사 질문지를 사용하였다. 결과처리는 빈도분석, t-검증, 교차분석, ANOVA 검증 및 Sch$\acute{e}$ffe 사후검증을 실시하였다. 결과는 첫째, 공공형 어린이집에서는 전문대 출신 보육교사에 대하여 채용을 긍정적으로 생각하고, 채용 시 성실성과 수업능력을 중요하게 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 원장 및 교사들은 보육교사 자격증이 중요하다고 생각한데 비하여 재학생들은 유치원 정교사 자격증과 각종 실기관련 자격증이 필요하다고 생각하여 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 원장과 재학생은 공공형 어린이집 직무 중 교수학습준비 및 실제, 학부모 상담, 아동보호 및 안전 관련 업무를 중요하게 생각하였고, 교사들은 공공형 어린이집 직무 중 교수학습준비 및 실제, 학부모 상담, 시설관련 업무를 중요하게 생각하는 것으로 나타나 이 부분에 대한 보육현장중심의 교육과정개발이 강화되어야 하는 것으로 나타났다.

This preliminary study aimed to develop 3 assessment scales for self-evaluation by day care directors and teachers. The development of major areas of evaluation and items as well as evaluation criteria for each item was based on the analysis of related research and major evaluation instruments. A panel of experts in early childhood education examined the contents. The 3 preliminary scales were administered in 87 day care centers; data were analyzed by item response distribution, item discrimination, and reliability of the scales. Items indicating low item discrimination were deleted and minor revisions were made to improve psychometric characteristics of each scale. The final version of the 3 scales is valid for use as self-evaluation instruments by day care directors and teachers.

본 연구는 국내 유아교육관련 학회지에 수록된 논문을 중심으로 유아교육기관장 관련 연구 동향을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 1991년부터 2013년까지 한국연구재단등재학술지 8개에 수록된 유아교육기관장 관련 논문 162편을 연구시기, 연구주제, 연구방법으로 나누어 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째 연구시기별 연구동향은 2003년까지는 연간 5편 이하로 적은 편수의 논문이 발표되었으나 2004년부터 서서히 증가하면서 2009년부터는 매년 20편 정도의 원장관련 논문이 발표되고 있었다. 둘째, 연구주제는 '기관장의 기관경영'에 대한 주제가 가장 많았고, '기관장 지도성', '직무와 역할', '자질'의 순이었다. 셋째, 연구유형은 양적연구가 많았으나 최근 감소하고 있고, 질적 연구는 2006년 이후 증가하는 경향을 보이고 있었다. 연구대상은 교사를 대상으로 한 연구가 많았고, 자료 수집방법은 양적연구에서는 질문지법이 자주 활용되고 있었고, 자료 분석방법은 양적분석방법이 많이 활용되고 있었다. 이러한 연구결과는 유아교육기관장에 관한 지도성과 핵심역량 등을 주제로 한 연구가 실행될 필요가 있으며, 연구대상 및 연구방법의 다각화를 모색할 필요가 있음을 시사한다.

The aims of this study were to investigate (1) the status of food materials purchased by group-buying companies and (2) the satisfaction with food materials and service quality of group-buying companies in foodservice at child-care centers. In November 2013, child-care centers which were participated in a group-buying program in Gwanak-gu, Seoul were requested to complete self-reported questionnaires. One hundred and eight respondents (76.9% of directors, 23.1% of non-directors) completed questionnaires, including purchase frequency of food materials, degree of satisfaction with 'food materials' and 'operating system and service' of group-buying companies. About 60% of child-care centers purchased food materials from major companies. Respondents' overall satisfaction with 'food materials' and 'operating system and service' were '3.55' and '3.72' out of 5 points, respectively. For overall satisfaction with food materials, there were significant differences between 'public (3.79)' and 'private, home-based (3.31)' child-care centers (p=0.023). The results of multi-regression analysis showed that quality (${\beta}$=0.271, p=0.013) and price appropriateness (${\beta}$=0.284, p=0.002) were associated with overall satisfaction with food materials purchased by group-buying companies. The factors such as delivery accuracy about items(${\beta}$=-0.201, p=0.042), hygiene of delivery process (${\beta}$=-0.207, p=0.025) and communication with companies (${\beta}$=-0.317, p=0.003) were significantly associated with overall satisfaction with operating system and service provided by group-buying companies. The results of this study could be utilized for group-buying companies and the government to develop guidelines and policies on food material buying in foodservice at child-care centers.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to explore the feasibility to utilize image data recorded and accumulated from CCTV at child care centers. Methods: Literature reviews, consultations and workshops with scholars studying child development, legal professionals, and engineers, focus group interviews with professionals working with young children, and surveys targeting parents, directors and teachers were implemented. Results: It was found the big data from CCTV at child care centers can be used to make policies and implement research as a secondary data set after anonymization. Extracting implicit and useful data from images stored on CCTV is technically feasible. Also, it can be legally guaranteed to analyze the data under the condition of acquiring informed consents. Conclusion/Implications: It was likely to utilize image data from CCTV at child care centers as a secondary data set in order for policy development and scholarly purposes, after overcoming obstacles of the budget for additional infrastructures and consents of information holders.

The purpose of this study is to research the actual condition of environment and management of outdoor play at child care centers in Seoul, and to present a planning guideline for outdoor play environment. For this purpose, data were collected by a structured questionnaire and subjects were 164 directors of child care centers located in Seoul. The contents of the questionnaire were composed of general facts about the respondent and facility, environmental condition, managerial condition, and director's understanding about outdoor play. The data were then analyzed using the frequency, percentage, mean and crosstab. The major results have shown the following: 1) Most child care centers in Seoul had some space for outdoor play. 62% of them used front yard and 11 % a rooftop. 2) The space usually included fixed play instruments such as slide and complex unit structures, sand play area, and open area. It also had many natural elements as shrubs and earth. 3) 78% of the centers had a schedule for outdoor play. The schedule operates flexibly according to each center's own day schedule. Generally, a time for outdoor play was 21 to 30 minutes. 4) The directors of child care centers thought highly of outdoor play for it contributes to the balanced development of children. They answered that equipments and spaces, program devices, and teacher's understanding are some of the important factors for active outdoor play. 5) Most of them wanted wood-working area (construction activity area), water play area, and cages.

본 연구는 보육 및 운영과정에서 어린이집 운영자의 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 스트레스와 소진 간의 관계를 파악하고, 어린이집 운영자의 스트레스와 이직의도 간의 관계에서 소진의 역할에 대해 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어린이집 운영자가 받는 스트레스가 높을수록 소진이 높아졌다. 특히 스트레스 중에서도 운영자는 교직원 관리와 행정 및 재정관리에 대한 스트레스가 높을수록 소진이 높아지는 것을 확인하였다. 둘째, 어린이집 운영자의 소진이 높을수록 이직의도가 높아졌다. 셋째, 어린이집 운영자의 스트레스가 높아진다고 해서 바로 이직의도가 높아지는 것은 아님을 확인하였다. 넷째, 본 연구에서 제시한 매개효과를 검증한 결과 스트레스와 이직의도 간의 관계에서 소진은 매개효과를 가진다고 할 수 있으며, 스트레스가 이직의도에 미치는 직접효과가 유의하지 않으므로 이 매개효과는 완전매개라고 할 수 있다. 결론적으로 어린이집 운영자의 이직의도 가장 중요시 되는 스트레스 관리를 위해서는 무엇보다도 직무에 대한 소진이 일어나지 않게 하는 것이 중요한 사안임을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 어린이집 운영자의 이직의도에 있어서 스트레스와 소진은 유의미한 상관성을 가진다고 활 수 있다.

본 연구의 목적은 유아교사의 정서노동이 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향에서 원장의 변혁적 및 거래적 리더십의 조절효과를 분석하는데 있다. 본 연구대상은 경기도에 소재한 유치원 및 어린이집에 재원 중인 교사 211명을 대상으로 하였다. '유아교사 정서노동 검사도구', '원장의 변혁적 및 거래적 리더십 검사도구', 그리고 '유아교사의 심리적 소진 검사도구'를 사용하여 연구자료를 수집하였으며 수집된 자료는 Pearson 적률 상관계수와 위계적 중다회귀분석을 통해 검증하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 유아교사의 정서노동은 심리적소진과 정적상관관계가 나타났으며 원장의 변혁적 및 거래적 리더십은 심리적 소진과 부적 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 유아교사의 정서노동은 심리적 소진에 정적예측변인으로 나타났다. 셋째, 원장의 변혁적 및 거래적 리더십은 심리적 소진에 부적예측변인으로 나타났다. 넷째, 원장의 변혁적 리더십은 심리적 소진의 하위영역 중 직문환경 불만족에 조절효과가 나타났으며, 원장의 거래적 리더십은 심리적 소진의 하위영역 중 신체정서적 고갈에 조절효과가 나타났다.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of directors' coaching leadership on teachers' play implementation competencies and the mediation effects of teachers' reflective thinking and creative job performance by conducting a structural relationship analysis. Methods: The subjects of this study were child care teachers who were purposefully sampled from the metropolitan area which includes Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi Province. A total of 267 questionnaires were analyzed after excluding poor or incomplete questionnaires by use of SPSS Statistics 25.0 and the AMOS 21.0. Results: Directors' coaching leadership was positively correlated with teachers' reflective thinking, creative job performance, and their play implementation competencies. Directors' coaching leaderships directly and indirectly influenced teachers' play implementation competencies, which was mediated by teachers' reflective thinking and their creative job performance. Conclusion/Implications: Directors' coaching leadership has a significant implication for teachers' play implementation competencies which became more important after the national curriculum standards had been revised.
