A Study on the Security Checklist Improvements to improve the Security in the Mobile Applications Development (모바일 어플리케이션 개발에서의 보안성 향상을 위한 보안 점검항목 개선에 관한 연구)

  • The use of mobile devices offers a variety of services to the individuals and companies. On the other hand, security threats and new mobile security threats that exist in IT infrastructure to build the environment for mobile services are present at the same time. Services such as mobile and vaccine management services, such as MDM (Mobile Device Management) has attracted a great deal of interest in order to minimize the threat of security in mobile environment. These solutions can not protect an application that was developed for the mobile service from the threat of vulnerability of mobile application itself. Under these circumstances, in this paper, we proposed mobile application security checklists based on application security review items in order to prevent security accidents that can occur in a mobile service environment. We collected and analyzed Android applications, we performed a total inspection of the applications for verification of the effectiveness of the check items. And we checked that the check items through a survey of experts suitability was verified.

  • Web applications are widely used by the development of the Internet, but there are no separate audit model for a web-based information systems. Information business has a wide variety of characteristics. So, web-based information system audit model is needed. Therefore, a web-based information system audit model was proposed to enhance the effectiveness of audit and to increase the quality. Audit check lists were applied based on three sets of existing information audit check framework. An audit point of time was defined as analysis, design, and implementation. An audit domain was defined as contents, design, and process. Moreover, audit viewpoint and inspection standards were defined by setting standards of process, product, and performance. Moreover, this paper proposes differences between an existing model of information system development methodology and web-based information system. It also deduced audit checklists according to audit domains for web-based information system audit. The deduced audit checklists were verified for its suitability by conducting surveys, and the modified audit inspection model, in which the deduced audit checklists were applied, was proposed.

  • Location Information is an information about a place where an individual exists or had existed. As smart phones are popularized, location information becomes more than simple information about the place. As a result, services using an individual's location information became the trend. However, problems arising from discharging Private Information can damage an individual, because it causes financial and economic loss but also detects individual's location and route directly. In realities, the guide that regulates Location Based Service for administering Private Location Information is insufficient. Therefore, this paper proposes check items, which contain standards of judicial action, financial loss ratings, importance of Private Location Information, and criticality of check lists, during the Private Location Information audit at the level of analysis, design, and management of the Information System, in order to prevent the infringement and disclosure of the Private Location Information. Moreover, the proposed check items were verified for its suitability by the professionals' survey.

Development of An Evaluation System for the Interim Check of Integrated Rural Village Development Project (농촌마을종합개발사업 중간 점검을 위한 평가지표 적용사례)

  • In this study, We developed an evaluation system for the interim check of Integrated Rural Village Development Project and analyzed its applicability to an actual evaluation process through a pilot evaluation on regions selected. The evaluation system consists of documentary assessments(30%) and field inspections(70%). The documentary assessments are quantitative assessments on check-lists reports by self-evaluation prepared by local governments. The field inspections are qualitative assessments by evaluation teams. Sixteen evaluation indices were developed for documentary assessments and seven criteria were designed for field inspections. For a pilot evaluation, one region in each province excluding Jeju Do, eight regions was selected and the field inspections due to circumstances was proceeded in two regions. The results of documentary assessments indicate that most of regions are evaluated low in project performance attributable to the delay in security for sites. In the field inspections, it appears that most of the regions evaluated high at the documentary assessments got a high point from them. They also show that coordination of action plans, rather than quantitative achievements, is a base determining success of the projects.

  • Technology based would-be entrepreneurs have constantly increased as coming with increasing demands for technology based startup. However, technology based startup need to go through throne field in the preparation and launching process. This paper help technology based would be entrepreneurs recognizing and pivoting all potential fatal flaws covering entrepreneurs to BM with strategies by providing self check-up lists. This paper have developed all check list based upon the previous literature reviews about technology commercialization with carrying Focused Group Interview with mentor and investor involved in the early stage of venture growth. In particular, this paper have applied these tools over 104 participants(would-be entrepreneur and entrepreneurs in the early startup) attending in Hanbat Startup Item Validation Program and Startup Leading University program. This paper developed the mega categories of list as follows: Entrepreneurship, technology and patent, target customer and market, product, BM and strategy. It also developed 17 different concept of components and 58 specific sub-lists under maga list. The research results of paper will provide solid foundation of communication with participants about checking up their state of preparation for startup as applying to mentoring for would-be entrepreneurs and to entrepreneurship education.

  • As the working design process of Turn-Key projects is a basic process for the final contract, this process has lots of business decision to be made. Because such results of business decision can be the basis on contract documents, it is the step which needs a through management for Turn-key project. But in case of domestic construction companies, because those are not organized process of working design process, project manager has had lots of trouble at each process to make the business decision. As a means of settling the problems, this research is initiated. First, working decision management process is identified and generalized by interviews with project managers. Second, cases that actually happened in the project are investigated and categorized. Third, response plan to solve the problems and check lists to prevent the problems are suggested. Finally, the process, cases, response plan, and check list are integrated using CBR for future reuse.

A Shortest Path Planning Algorithm for Mobile Robots Using a Modified Visibility Graph Method

  • This paper presents a global path planning algorithm based on a visibility graph method, and applies additionally various constraints for constructing the reduced visibility graph. The modification algorithm for generating the rounded path is applied to the globally shortest path of the visibility graph using the robot size constraint in order to avoid the obstacle. In order to check the visibility in given 3D map data, 3D CAD data with VRML format is projected to the 2D plane of the mobile robot, and the projected map is converted into an image for easy map analysis. The image processing are applied to this grid map for extracting the obstacles and the free space. Generally, the tree size of visibility graph is proportional to the factorial of the number of the corner points. In order to reduce the tree size and search the shortest path efficiently, the various constraints are proposed. After short paths that crosses the corner points of obstacles lists up, the shortest path among these paths is selected and it is modified to the combination of the line path and the arc path for the mobile robot to avoid the obstacles and follow the rounded path in the environment. The proposed path planning algorithm is applied to the mobile robot LCAR-III.

  • In this paper, we investigate and analyze the application of VV&A on the development of war-game models which were developed in Korea. Then we propose VV&A framework which comprises VV&A basic model, VV&A reference model and a supporting tool. The VV&A basic model consists of VV&A process, products and methodologies. The VV&A reference model includes VV&A check lists for each VV&A activities, an assessment model of VV&A execution level and VV&A process maturity model. The VV&A supporting tool is to document and manage VV&A products. The proposed VV&A framework can be used as the foundation of VV&A plan on its execution.

  • Reaction-to-Fire's performances such as combustion properties of sandwich panels were tested according to ISO 13784-1 (room corner test for sandwich panel building systems) method which is made for the purpose of supplementing ISO 9705 room corner test, and analyzed comparatively. Several variables including heat release rate, smoke production rate, FIGRA, SMOGRA, thermal configuration, visual check lists and so on, were analyzed for specific four materials on sandwich panel systems. Finally, Reaction-to-Fire's performances of test results on each material by ISO 13784-1 are categorized by applying to the classification systems of both EN 13501-1 and Eurefic Research Program.

A Survey Study on the Degree of Satisfaction with the Practical Training for the Students in the Department of Physical Therapy (일개 물리치료과 학생들의 임상실습만족도에 관한 연구)

  • To overcome obstacles and to attain the goals of practical training for the students in the department of physical therapy it is necessary to effective an effective system for practical training. And to develop a good System it is essential to monitor the response of the students in practical training of physical therapy and to gather fundamental data. The author made up a questionnaire to the students in the department of physical therapy after the end of practical training course. The questionnaire consisted of 13 questionnaire for the general characterisitcs of the students, 19 questions for the degree of satisfaction (4 for the environment of practical training, 4 for the environment of practical training, 4 for the content 3 for the time assignment and 4 for the evaluation) and one open question. As results the students were satisfied with the practicality and fresh experience. But they were relatively unsatisfied with the environment of the practical training and the number and sincerity of the trainers. Especially they were dissatisfied with the correspondence with the objectives of education, conection with the lecture, communication with the trainers, time assignment and evaluation. As a Part of efforts to formulate an effective system fer practical training it is necessary to estabilish concrete goals and detail check lists to guide both trainers and students.
