A method of eliminating the branch problem in driving crank center point plane for 3 position synthesis of 4 bar mechanism is introduced. By studying various transformation characteristics from the circle point plane into the center poi t plane, the curves in the center point plane transformed from the filemon line in circle point plane are analytically obtained, which will seperate the whole center point plane into many sub-areas for the selec- tion of the center point of the driving crank. And a simple method to identify which of the sub-areas will cause the branch problem is also presented. The method will allow the selection of the center point of driving crank without the branch problem.

A common fixed point result for weakly increasing mappings satisfying generalized contractive type in ordered partial S-metric spaces are derived. Also as an application of our results we consider a couple integral equations.to guarantee the existence of a common solution.

In this paper, the notion of S-metric spaces will be introduced. We present some fixed point theorems for two maps on complete S-metric spaces and an illustrative example is given for the single-valued case. By using the similar method as in [4], a common fixed point theorem for two single-valued mappings is obtained in S-metric spaces.

The major problem at a branch point for point-to-multipoint available bit rate(ABR) services in asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) networks is how to consolidate backward resource management(BRM) cells from each branch for a multicast connection. In this paper, we propose an efficient feedback consolidation algorithm based on an adaptive dynamic threshold(ADT) to eliminate the consolidation noise and the reduce the consolidation delay. The main idea of the ADT algorithm lies in that each branch point estimates the ABR traffic condition of the network through the virtual queue estimation and the transmission threshold of the queue level in branch points is adaptively controlled according to the estimation. Simulation results show that the proposed ADT algorithm can achieve a faster response in congestion status and a higher link utilization compared with the previous works.

In this paper, we give some new definitions of $D^*$-metric spaces and we prove a common fixed point theorem for six mappings under the condition of weakly compatible mappings in complete $D^*$-metric spaces. We get some improved versions of several fixed point theorems in complete $D^*$-metric spaces.

In this paper, we prove some common fixed point theorem for two nonlinear mappings in complete $\mathcal{M}$-fuzzy metric spaces. Our main results improved versions of several fixed point theorems in complete fuzz metric spaces.
