  • In the present investigation, by making use of the familiar concept of neighborhoods of analytic and multivalent functions, we prove several inclusion relations associated with the (n, ${\delta}$)-neighborhoods of certain subclasses of analytic functions of complex order, which are introduced here by means of the Al-Oboudi derivative. Several special cases of the main results are mentioned.

  • In this paper, we consider the Fourier-type functionals introduced in [16]. We then establish the analytic Feynman integral for the Fourier-type functionals. Further, we get a series expansion of the analytic Feynman integral for the Fourier-type functional $[{\Delta}^kF]^{\^}$. We conclude by applying our series expansion to several interesting functionals.

  • The analytic hierarchy process is known as a useful tool for the group decision making methods. This tool has been area such as investment, R&D management, manufacturing, production and marketing. Typically, transportation problems have addressed by mathematical programming. In this paper, an optimal solution of transportation problem was determined by the analytic hierarchy process.

  • Production-distribution planning is the most important part in supply chain management (SCM). To solve this planning problem, either analytic or simulation approach has been developed. However these two approaches have their own demerits in problem solving. In this paper, we propose a hybrid approach which is a specific problem solving procedure combining analytic and simulation method to solve production-distribution problems in supply chain. The machine capacity and distribution capacity constraints in the analytic model are considered as stochastic factors and adjusted by the proposed specific process according to the results from independently developed simulation model which includes general production-distribution characteristics.

  • In an earlier work, we proposed the chromatic dispersion monitoring technique of non-return to zero (NRZ) signal based on clock-frequency component (CFC) through numerical simulations. However, we have not yet shown any experimental demonstration or analytic derivation of it. In this paper, we show an experimental demonstration and analytic derivation of the proposed chromatic dispersion monitoring technique. We confirm that the experimental results and the analytic results correspond with the simulation results. We also demonstrate that monitoring range and accuracy can be improved by using a simple clock-extraction method.

  • In this paper we express analytic Feynman integral of the first variation of a functional F in terms of analytic Feynman integral of the product F with a linear factor and obtain an integration by parts formula of the analytic Feynman integral of functionals on abstract Wiener space. We find the Fourier-Feynman transform for the product of functionals in the Fresnel class F(B) with n linear factors.

  • In this study, a Schwarz lemma at the boundary for analytic functions at the unit disc, which generalizes classical Schwarz lemma for bounded analytic functions, is considered. The results of Rogosinskis lemma and Jacks lemma have been utilized to derive novel inequalities. Also, these inequalities have been strengthened by considering the critical points which are different from zero.

  • In this paper, we study the generalized Fourier-Feynman transform (GFFT) for functions on the general Wiener space Ca,b[0, T]. We establish an explicit evaluation formula for the analytic GFFT of bounded cylinder functions on Ca,b[0, T]. We start by examining certain cylinder functions which belong in a Banach algebra of bounded functions on Ca,b[0, T]. We then obtain an explicit formula for the analytic GFFT of the bounded cylinder functions.

  • This research studied the role of images between visual thinking and analytic thinking to contribute to the ongoing discussion of visual thinking and analytic thinking and images in mathematics education. In this study, we investigated the thinking processes of mathematically gifted students who solved tasks generalizing patterns and we analyzed how images affected problem solving. We found that the students constructed concrete images of each cases and dynamic images and pattern images from transforming the concrete images. In addition, we investigated how images were constructed and transformed and what were the roles of images between visual thinking and analytic thinking. The results showed that images were constructed, transformed, and sophisticated through interaction of visual thinking and analytic thinking. And we could identify that images played central roles in moving from visual thinking to analytic thinking and from analytic thinking to visual thinking.
