정기발주 재고모형에서 공급자 수율 정보 공유의 기대효과 분석 (Analysis of the Value of Yield Information under Periodic Review Inventory System)

  • The objective of this study is to evaluate the effects of sharing uncertain yield information with a downstream supply chain player. We are interested in understanding how the amount of yield uncertainty affects the supply-side benefits and/or costs, which has not been considered in the literature, in addition to the customer-side benefits. With that purpose, this work evaluates a supplier who provides yield information in comparison with another supplier who shares no information. We simulate an order-up-to type heuristic policy that is adapted from the literature and reasonably modified to represent yield information sharing with error. From the simulation study, we argue that the customer would experience cost reduction, but the cost for supplier's inventory is increasing when sharing yield information. Furthermore, the amount of benefits and costs are situational and affected by level of yield uncertainty and demand variance. Based on the simulation study, we finally make several recommendations for the supply-side approaches to yield information sharing.

Yielding behaviour of organically treated anatase $TiO_2$ suspension

  • The rheological behaviour of anatase $TiO_2$ with organic coating has been investigated extensively in this study. The yield stress was measured over a wide range of solids concentration and pH using stress-controlled and speed-controlled rheometers. The organic treatment leads to a shift of the isoelectric point (IEP) from around pH 5.5 to pH 2.4. A maximum yield stress occurs in the vicinity of the isoelectric point determined by electrokinetic measurements. The transition of rheological behaviour between elastic solid and viscous liquid is represented by a stress plateau in a plot of stress against strain. It is hypothesised that the slope of the stress plateau reflects the uniformity of the structure, and hence the distribution of bond strength. Altering the concentration and the surface chemistry can vary the bond strength and its distribution. therefore, resulting in different type of failure: "ductile-type" or "brittle-type". pH and volume fraction dependence of yield stress could be described quantitatively using existing models with reasonable agreement.easonable agreement.

Effect of shape and amount of transverse reinforcement on lateral confinement of normal-strength concrete columns

  • The amount and configuration of transverse reinforcement are known as critical parameters that significantly affect the lateral confinement of concrete, the ductility capacity, and the plastic hinge length of RC columns. Based on test results, this study investigated the effect of the three variables on structural indexes such as neutral axis depth, lateral expansion of concrete, and ductility capacity. Five reinforced concrete column specimens were tested under cyclic flexure and shear while simultaneously subjected to a constant axial load. The columns were reinforced by two types of reinforcing steel: rectangular hoops and spiral type reinforcing bars. The variables in the test program were the shape, diameter, and yield strength of transverse reinforcement. The interactive influence of the amount of transverse reinforcement on the structural indexes was evaluated. Test results showed that when amounts of transverse reinforcement were similar, and yield strength of transverse reinforcement was 600 MPa or less, the neutral axis depth of a column with spiral type reinforcing bars was reduced by 28% compared with that of a column reinforced by existing rectangular hoops at peak strength. While the diagonal elements of spiral-type reinforcing bars significantly contributed to the lateral confinement of concrete, the strain of diagonal elements decreased with increases of their yield strength. It was confirmed that shapes of transverse reinforcement significantly affected the lateral confinement of concrete adjacent to plastic hinges. Transverse reinforcement with a yield strength exceeding 600 MPa, however, increased the neutral axis depth of normal-strength concrete columns at peak strength, resulting in reductions in ductility and energy dissipation capacity.

한국(韓國)에 있어서 벼기생선충(寄生線蟲)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) - II. 벼잎선충(線蟲)(Aphelenchoides besseyi)에 대(對)한 저항성(抵抗性) 품종(品種) 검정(檢定) 및 온탕침법(溫湯侵法)에 의(依)한 방제효과(防除效果)에 대하여 (Nematodes Associated with Rice in Korea - II. A Test of Rice Resistance and Control Effect of Hot Water Treatment to White Tip Nematode)

  • 벼잎선충(線蟲) 방제(防除)를 위(爲)한 볍씨의 온탕침적조건(溫湯浸績條件), 벼품종간(品種間)의 저항성(抵抗性) 정도(程度), 피해경율(被害莖率)과 수량감소(收量減少) 정도(程度) 등을 구명(究明)하기 위(爲)해 시험(試驗)한 결과(結果)를 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. 볍씨 온탕침법(溫湯浸法)에 의(依)한 선충(線蟲) 방제효과(防除效果)는 $61^{\circ}C$에서 10-15분간(分間) 처리(處理)하였을때 가장 좋았다. 벼잎선충(線蟲)에 대한 품종간(品種間)의 피해경율(被害莖率)은 통일형(統一型) 품종(品種)의 경우 White tip 증상(症狀)이 나타나지 않았고 일본형(日本型) 품종(品種)들은 대부분 White tip 증상(症狀)이 잘 나타났는데 그 중(中)에서도 오태(五台)벼와 부광벼는 각각(各各) 95.6%, 81.8%의 높은 피해경율(被害脛率)을 보였다. 그러나 볍씨내 선충밀도(線蟲密度)에 있어서는 통일형(統一型), 일본형(日本型) 품종(品種) 모두 벼 10g당 100마리 이상(以上) 검출되었다. White tip 증상(症狀)이 나타나지 않았던 통일형(統一型) 품종(品種)들도 선충(線蟲) 접종구(接種區)에서는 수량(收量) 및 수량구성요소(收量構成要素)가 감소(減少)되는 품종(品種)이 많았고 일본형(日本型) 품종(品種)에서는 피해경율(被害莖率)이 높았던 오태(五台)벼와 부광벼는 40% 가까운 수량감소율(收量減少率)을 보였으며 전체적(全體的)으로 통일형(統一型) 보다는 일본형(日本型) 품종(品種)에서 수량구성요소(收量構成要素)와 수량(收量)의 감수정도(減收程度)가 높게 나타났다. 일본형(日本型) 품종(品種) 중(中) 영덕(盈德)5호(號)는 접종구(接種區)에서 White tip 증상(症狀)이 전혀 나타나지 않았고 수량(收量)도 감소(減少)되지 않아 벼잎선충(線蟲)에 대하여 저항성(抵抗性) 품종(品種)으로 생각된다.

  • The objective of this paper is to develop a simplified method to determine yield line patterns of reinforced concrete floor slabs based on the elastic fields. Unlike other methods mainly focused on the plasticity theory, this paper emphasizes the elastic fields, especially principal moments and maximum shears and shows a link between elasticity field and yield line patterns. General criteria on both positive and negative yield lines are suggested in terms of principal moments and maximum shear forces. The proposed method can predict starting point (or regions) of yielding and the further development of yield lines on whole structures. The yield line patterns determined by the proposed method are shown to be coincident with the classical yield line theory. Furthermore, orthotropy in reinforced concrete slab is investigated and yield line patterns for different type of flat slab with non-isotropic strip are studied broadly.

파프리카 묘의 직접 정식 시 절곡 방법에 따른 생육 및 생산량 (Growth and Yield According to Various Bending Methods when Planting Seedlings Directly on Coir Substrate Slabs in Paprika Cultivation)

  • 코이어 배지를 이용한 파프리카 재배에서 직접 정식 시 절곡방법에 따른 정식 후 초기 생육과 수확량을 비교하였다. 절곡방법은 I-type(절곡각도 0°), 옆으로 뉘인 L-type(절곡각도 90°), 뒤집어서 뿌리가 위로 향하도록 하는 U-type(절곡각도 180°)로 하였다. 줄기 신장 및 직경, 엽면적의 주간 평균 발달량은 정식 후 초기에 다른 처리구에 비해 영양생장이 왕성하였던I-type에서 가장 높았다. 정식 후 46주째의 뿌리 무게도 I-type 처리구에서 다른 처리구들에 비해 약 1.3-1.7배 정도 무거웠다. 처리구별로 330주에서 생산된 수확량은 각각 약 510, 420 및 480kg으로 I-type에서 가장 높았다. 따라서 코이어 배지를 활용한 파프리카 재배에서 직접 정식 시 정식 초기의 뿌리 활착 및 세력 확보, 그리고 이후 착과 안정성에서 I-type이 적합할 것으로 판단된다.

내부 광전자방출 분광법을 이용한 Pt/HfO2/p-Si Metal-Insulator-Semiconductor 커패시터의 쇼트키 배리어 분석 (Characterization of the Schottky Barrier Height of the Pt/HfO2/p-type Si MIS Capacitor by Internal Photoemission Spectroscopy)

  • In this study, we used I-V spectroscopy, photoconductivity (PC) yield and internal photoemission (IPE) yield using IPE spectroscopy to characterize the Schottky barrier heights (SBH) at insulator-semiconductor interfaces of Pt/$HfO_2$/p-type Si metal-insulator-semiconductor (MIS) capacitors. The leakage current characteristics of the MIS capacitor were analyzed according to the J-V and C-V curves. The leakage current behavior of the capacitors, which depends on the applied electric field, can be described using the Poole-Frenkel (P-F) emission, trap assisted tunneling (TAT), and direct tunneling (DT) models. The leakage current transport mechanism is controlled by the trap level energy depth of $HfO_2$. In order to further study the SBH and the electronic tunneling mechanism, the internal photoemission (IPE) yield was measured and analyzed. We obtained the SBH values of the Pt/$HfO_2$/p-type Si for use in Fowler plots in the square and cubic root IPE yield spectra curves. At the Pt/$HfO_2$/p-type Si interface, the SBH difference, which depends on the electrical potential, is related to (1) the work function (WF) difference and between the Pt and p-type Si and (2) the sub-gap defect state features (density and energy) in the given dielectric.

A Meta-Analysis for the Impact of Transgenic Crop Adoption on Corn and Soybean Yield

  • Although there is a broad dispute over genetically modified foods on safety, the worldwide adoption of transgenic crops is rapidly increasing. The objectives of this study were to identify trends in the effects of transgenic on crop yields and examine the effect of agricultural variables including crop type, biotech trait, tillage system, and yield environment on corn and soybean yield. A meta-analysis from the 34 peer-reviewed scientific literatures was conducted to compare the crop yield between transgenic crops and conventional varieties. Results showed that the yield of transgenic corn and soybean was strongly dependent on growing conditions. Transgenic hybrids had higher yield potential in the low crop yield environments such as high weeds and/or insect infestation, low soil water, and cool temperature conditions, while transgenic crops did not have yield advantages in high yield environments. The results from this study suggest that producers should consider the potential yield environmental conditions and possible yield reductions when producers choose crop hybrids in their fields.

잎담배 수량에 관여하는 가지를 중요형질간의 상관관계 (Studies of correlations among various characters which affect to yield of leaf tobacco)

  • 잎담배의 다수성품종 육성의 선택에 앞서 각형질상호간의 상관관계를 구명하고 이들 형질이 수량에 어떻게 관여하는가를 분석함으로써 다수성 계통을 용이하게 선택할수 있겠으므로 이들 주요형질을 고찰한바 잎담배 수량에 직접상으로 관여하는 것은 황색종에서는 엽폭, 엽면적이었고 양건종에서는 간주, 엽수, 엽장, 엽면적이며 음건종에서는 간주, 엽수, 엽장, 엽폭, 엽면적이었다. 종류를 막론하고 엽폭과 엽면적이 수량에 크게 작용하며 이중 가장 측정이 용이하고 실제 다수성개체선택에 효과적인 형질은 엽폭이라 할 수 있다.
