노동과 건강 불평등, 그 근원은 어디인가? (What is the Origin of Inequalities in Work and Health?)

  • There has been an enormous increasing trend of widening gap of social inequalities since economic crisis at the end of 1997 in Korea. Since then, Korean society has deteriorated in economic and social conditions; the unemployment rate, temporary or casual workers and absolute poverty have increased. This paper presents the origin of inequalities in work and health in Korea. The origin of inequalities in work begins with the relationship between the capitalist and labourers in the capitalist mode of production. The conception and execution are dissolved in the work process in the capitalist mode of production. Thus, captitalists become control over ther labour process from workers. An alienation of the work process from the workers. The distribution of work is the majour source if inequalities in many countries as well as Korea. This paper presents the increasing tendency of unhealthy states such as mortality, early death, morbidity, physical work load, workplace injury amongst the under-privileged: ordinary workers, unemployed people, casual workers and socially deprived people in Korea.

  • In this work, by using an integral identity together with both the Hölder and the power-mean integral inequalities we establish several new inequalities for n-times differentiable arithmetic-harmonically-convex function. Then, using this inequalities, we obtain some new inequalities connected with means. In special cases, the results obtained coincide with the well-known results in the literature.

  • Motivated by the previously reported results, this work attempts to provide fresh refinements to both vector and numerical radius inequalities by providing a refinement to the well known Buzano's inequality which as a consequence yielded another refinement of the Cauchy-Schwartz (CS) inequality. Utilizing the new refinements of the Buzano's and Cauchy-Schwartz inequalities, we proceed to obtain various vector and numerical radius type inequalities. Methods used in the paper are standard for the operator theory inequality topics.

  • Jain and Saraswat (2012) introduced new generalized f-information divergence measure, by which we obtained many well known and new information divergences. In this work, we introduce new information inequalities in absolute form on this new generalized divergence by considering convex normalized functions. Further, we apply these inequalities for getting new relations among well known divergences, together with numerical verification. Application to the Mutual information is also presented. Asymptotic approximation in terms of Chi- square divergence is done as well.

  • In this work, we suggest a new system of generalized nonlinear regularized nonconvex variational inequalities in a real Hilbert space and establish an equivalence relation between this system and fixed point problems. By using the equivalence relation we suggest a new perturbed projection iterative algorithms with mixed errors for finding a solution set of system of generalized nonlinear regularized nonconvex variational inequalities.

  • In this work, by applying the binomial expansion, some refinements of the Young and Heinz inequalities are proved. As an application, a determinant inequality for positive definite matrices is obtained. Also, some operator inequalities around the Young's inequality for semidefinite invertible matrices are proved.

  • Integral inequalities provide a very useful and handy tool for the study of qualitative as well as quantitative properties of solutions of differential and integral equations. The main object of this work is to generalize some integral inequalities of quadratic type not only for integer order but also for arbitrary (fractional) order. We also study some inequalities of Pachpatte type.

  • In this article, using the concept proposed reciently by the author, of a Generalized k-Proportional Fractional Integral Operators with General Kernel, new integral inequalities are obtained for convex functions. It is shown that several known results are particular cases of the proposed inequalities and in the end new directions of work are provided.

  • In this article, we state and prove several new retarded nonlinear integral and integro-differential inequalities of Gronwall-Bellman-Pachpatte type. These inequalities generalize some former famous inequalities and can be used in examining the existence, uniqueness, boundedness, stability, asymptotic behaviour, quantitative and qualitative properties of solutions of nonlinear differential and integral equations. Applications are provided to demonstrate the strength of our inequalities in estimating the boundedness and global existence of the solution to initial value problem for nonlinear integro-differential equation and Volterra type retarded nonlinear equation. This research work will ensure to open the new opportunities for studying of nonlinear dynamic inequalities on time scale structure of varying nature.

  • Some bounds for anisotropic torsional rigidity with one plane of elastic symmetry perpendicular to the axis of the beam are derived by making use of the isoperimetric inequalities, complementary variational principles, and the maximum principle. Upper and lower bounds are obtained by applying the isoperimetric inequalities. While the upper bound investigated by the variational principles and maximum principle. The analysis is patterned after the work of Payne and Weinbeger [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 2(1961). pp. 210-216].
