A Study on the Management of the WCMS-based Web-Contents (WCMS 기반의 웹 콘텐츠 관리에 관한 연구)

  • Due to the development of the online and mobile, cases of introducing CMS(Contents Management System) and WCMS(Web Contents Management System) to manage Web-Contents of individual and company's homepage are continuously increasing. In this paper, it is necessary to develop WCMS that can establish GUI(Graphic User Interface) based WCMS and edit contents using more concise procedures. In this paper, by reconfiguring WCMS-based Web contents using user-definition, we designed the system that can effectively and conveniently edit web contents as GUI-based. Also, we studied the intuitive and convenient web-contents management methods through researches using simplified logic. Therefore, proposed WCMS based Web-contents editing system allows the users to edit and modify the web contents much more quickly and conveniently compared to the existing web-contents editing system.

A Study on the Searching Behavior of Web-based OPAC Users (웹기반 온라인목록의 이용행태 연구)

  • The primary questions addressed by this research are the followings: Has the interface of a Web-based OPAC been improved more user-friendly; How about its searching abilities; What difficulties have Web-based OPAC searchers experienced in using a Web OPAC; How do they perceive the system after use of it. Finding the answers of those questions the problems of a Web OPAC as a searching tool have been grasped and recommendations have been suggested in order to improve the system. An experiment was conducted and 30 university students performed 8 searching tasks. The searching behavior of Web OPAC searchers has been analyzed thoroughly. The data of their perceptions about the system was collected through a questionnaire after completing the tasks.

Effective Strategies for Teaching a Web-based Programming Course (웹 기반 프로그래밍 과목의 효과적인 강의 전략)

  • The demand for learning programming anywhere at a low cost at any time is increasing. Accordingly, there have been a great number of web-based programming courses. Generally, teaching Web-based programming classes is very challenging. Thus effective methods for teaching these courses should be researched. Based on several years of experiences in teaching a Web-based programming course as well as the related literature, this paper presents its effective teaching strategies. First, some design strategies of its course contents for developing programming skills are proposed, considering the characteristics of programming courses as well as potential learners. Next, its effective assessment and class management strategies are proposed. Finally, we evaluate the results of student grades and operation of a Web-based programming course offered most recently using proposed strategies. They demonstrate that we can enhance learning effects of the course.

  • According to the evolution of the Internet and wireless mobile communication technology, techniques for mobile databases and wireless web services are issued for them. Recently, these changes of geographic application environment increase the needs for development of new GIS database system for the web services and embedded system. In this paper, we proposed a Jana-based web database systems that can be used in the web-based GIS and mobile databases. This proposed system has been implemented using the Java to be displayed easily into the portable computing devices and Java-based web application servers and using OpenGIS for web data interoperability. Also, it can efficiently process web-based spatial queries by developing a spatial query processor including schema manager and a spatial object storage module.

  • 인구의 폭발적 증가, 산업화, 도시화의 급진적, 과학기숙의 발달 등으로 물 소비는 급증하는 반면, 이상기후현상으로 수자원의 절대량이 줄어 수자원의 양적인 문제와 하천 및 저수지의 수질오염에 대한 질적인 문제가 ,대두되고 있다. 하천의 수질현상 및 이송은 상당히 비선형적이고, 시간에 따라 변화하려, 실제로 수질의 예측은 유량의 변동, 오염물질의 이송 및 확산, 하천 구조물 등의 여러 요인에 의하여 상당히 어렵다고 알려져 왔다. 또한 한정된 수자원으로 하천의 수량과 수질목표를 동시에 달성하기 위해서는 물의 수요와 공급을 실시간으로 감시하면서 기상과 유출예측기술을 활용하여 용수의 수요와 공급을 예측하고 이를 토대로 수량과 수질을 고려한 물관리 운영시스템이 구축되어야 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 모형의 입${\cdot}$출력 구성을 자유롭게 변형할 수 있는 상태공간 모형과 신경망 모형을 이용하여 금강수계 주요 지점의 수질예측 모형을 구성하고 모형의 적용성을 파악한 후 예측력이 우수한 모형을 Web기반 모형의 수질예측 모듈의 기본모형으로 선정하고 Web 상에서 수질예측이 가능하도록 시스템을 개발하였다.

Design of Audit Model in Web-based Information System (웹 기반 정보시스템에서의 감리모형 설계)

  • Web applications are widely used by the development of the Internet, but there are no separate audit model for a web-based information systems. Information business has a wide variety of characteristics. So, web-based information system audit model is needed. Therefore, a web-based information system audit model was proposed to enhance the effectiveness of audit and to increase the quality. Audit check lists were applied based on three sets of existing information audit check framework. An audit point of time was defined as analysis, design, and implementation. An audit domain was defined as contents, design, and process. Moreover, audit viewpoint and inspection standards were defined by setting standards of process, product, and performance. Moreover, this paper proposes differences between an existing model of information system development methodology and web-based information system. It also deduced audit checklists according to audit domains for web-based information system audit. The deduced audit checklists were verified for its suitability by conducting surveys, and the modified audit inspection model, in which the deduced audit checklists were applied, was proposed.

  • Web-based MMORTS has features that distinguish it from traditional client-based games. First, Web-based MMORTS is represented by the combination of graphics and texts. Second, there is parallax agent which has a player and a base town character. This paper written for the purpose of analyzing the storytelling of web-based MMORTS, and from Innogames selected as the subjects of the study. In view of the results so far achieved, the fact, when the player logs in web-based MMORTS, the player takes the experience after some time which had taken by the AI character instead of the player logged out and User Generated Storytelling created from this process, become known. This paper has a meaning for Web-based virtual world which can juxtaposition with routine tasks and can be linked with other platforms.

Design and Experiments on Mathematical Learning Model for Web Based Instruction (Web 기반 교육을 위한 수학 학습모형의 설계와 실험)

  • In this paper, we aim to draw up an alternative instruction scheme by designing a web based instruction model on mathematics. Some learning materials are developed according to the scheme, and its educational effects are examined when it is committed to through regular curriculum. The study is composed of three major parts; setting of the theoretical foundation on cultivating Web based educational materials, design and composition of Web based teaching-learning model, and its experiments in the regular class. First of all, we are concerned with the core principles on WBI including the learning theories, developing learner oriented instruction model, design as well as build-up process for education materials, and strategy in instruction. Next, we propose an alternative instruction model for mathematics, in which programs to embody mathematics education and instruction on the Web are constructed, on the while, the study is proceeded through the Web Site. Finally, we design and produce a WBI instruction model on the subject of the plane quadratic curves. This model is examined in the regular class to estimate its educational effects compared with traditional teaching standpoints. Concomitantly, we explore essential elements and the direction of future growth associated with the Web oriented education.

  • 본 논문에서는 안정적인 변전소의 운영을 위해 최근 개발된 WEB 기반의 초고압 변전설비 원격감시 및 진단 시스템을 소개한다 WEB 기반의 초고압 변전설비 원격 감시 및 진단 시스템은 154kV급 이상의 초고압 변전소에 설치되어 있는 주변압기(MTR)와 가스절연개폐기(GIS)에 대한 감시 및 진단 데이터를 취득하는 Local System과 이러한 데이터를 전송 받아 감시 및 진단 기능과 WEB 서비스를 수행하는 Main Control Center로 구분된다. 실적용 사례로 최근 산업체의 몇 개 공장을 대상으로 시범 적응한 154kV급 변전소의 WEB 기반 감시 및 진단 시스템을 소개한다. 나아가 변전기기를 제어하기 위한 시스템과의 연계 방법에 대해 언급하고 있다.

WebGen: a Template-based Web Script Generator (WebGen: 템플릿 기반 웹 스크립트 생성기)

  • The demand for Web applications that un on databases has been rapidly increased in every area including business. Comparing to this growing demand, it still takes much time to write and maintain Web applications. In this paper, we introduce the Web script generator, WebGen that generates the Web forms as application interface and the Web scripts that process the queries by the forms operating with a database. WebGen generates five Web scripts(Search, Select, Edit, Information, and Action) from built-in templates that are the frames for those scripts by applying the declarative contents of a user-written configuration file. Each script except the Action script generates a corresponding form as user interface. Therefore, WebGen enhances Web application productivity by reducing the development time and effort for Web applications. Unlike the commercial Web script generators, WebGen supports easy version management because it is based on independent templates. Moreover, a WebGen-generated form includes not only the interested entity but also the entities that are related directly and indirectly with the interested entity.
