This paper tried to analyze cases of one year team-based project of gifted students who spent two year programs in a math-IT integrated class as part of formative evaluation and extracted the factors associated with future enhancement for the program. The researcher as an advisory professor tried to guide the students as minimally as possible considering their levels of IT skills so that they could self-directedly perform the IT-fused project on a team basis. The data collection included documents, annual report, photos, video, artifacts and interview data with the students for the whole team project carried out between February and December, 2015. The overall pattern of the project activities has been stabilized in the middle of the course compared to the initial stages of brainstorming and design work even though the students revealed the differences of their programming skills and preferences toward the project theme. Their project outcomes were qualitatively analyzed according to the 9 steps of R&E model and has shown individual differences according to low, middle and high level. At the end, the analysis suggested several implications for further improvement of the mentorship program.

This study shows that it is reasonable for an R&D Information and Evaluation Center to have a building with the fifth floor above the ground and the second floor below the ground. A survey was conducted with 22,655 researchers who are registered in the NRF database. The researchers provided 883 responses. The results indicate that about 56% of the respondents positively support the construction of the NFR R&D Information and Evaluation Center. The survey results show that many respondents recognize that both evaluation and information integration functions among the NRF's roles are very important compared to other roles. The findings of the economic validity analysis support this statement. Based on the current demand for the construction of the R&D Information and Evaluation Center, this study investigates whether it is reasonable to build a new center in the available space while examining an environment focused on a physical work space and looking at significant results obtained through a cost-benefit analysis.

Objectives: The manufacturing industry was the one with the most repeated occurrence industrial disasters, and it is important to study the safety environment known by workers in the industry in order to prevent industrial accidents. Methods: Research objects were 1,123 male among members of employees who responded to 2015 PSWCI panel report. Research objects underwent affected subjective health and then categorized subjects into some groups according to changes in employment condition during one year. Statistical analyses were performed using the SAS version 9.4 (SAS Institute Inc., Cary, NC, USA). Results: According to results of analysis, manufacturing industry had differences in economic activity and health conditions based on employees conditions. Dynamic change aspects of manufacturing industry condition had differences between sex and cases where going back and forth between temporary condition and unemployment status had higher percentage in male. Conclusions: The results of this study may serve as the refer to taking a bill to improve the level of safety of the work environment felt by employees in the manufacturing industry.

The purposes of this study were to investigate teachers' perceptions on process-focused mathematics assessment using manipulatives and technological devices and to propose the direction of the process-focused mathematics assessment. This study was conducted by the survey method with a total of 332 elementary and secondary school mathematics teachers working in Seoul or Gyeonggi areas who had experienced in using manipulatives and technological devices. According to the results, the use of manipulatives and technological devices in the process-focused mathematics assessment will facilitate the use of various alternative assessment methods such as research-report, project, and discussion for the process-focused mathematics assessment. Those alternative assessment methods enable teachers to diagnose students' learning in more accurate and holistic views and contribute to improving teachers' teaching practices focused on the mathematical process.

This paper is focused on the development of sea wave experimental module for the science gifted students and the potential of its application in high school earth science. Sea wave experimental module for the gifted was characteristics by five phases: Engagement, Exploration, Explanation, Elaboration, and Expansion. Subjects were 16 gifted students, who were 10th graders and have been taught in the adjacent Education Institute for the gifted of Education Districts, Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education The changes of inquiry ability and knowledge achievement were analyzed according to analysis of experimental report and pre-test and post-test. Experimental module for the gifted was very effective on inquiry skills as follows: control of variables, experimental designing, and selecting tools of experimental process. And also it was positively effective on achievement. The result of this study suggested that experimental module for the science gifted should be very meaningfully to improve scientific ability of them, and the development and application of experimental module for the science gifted be needed for them.

현재의 방사선방호 원칙과 체계는 국제방사선방호위원회 (ICRP)의 권고에 기반을 두고 있 다. ICRP 의 권고는 대부분 히로시마/나카사키 원폭피해 생존자들에 대한 역학조사 및 수명 연구결과 그리고 관련 방사선생물학 연구결과를 바탕으로 전세계 5개 인구집단(일본, 미국, 푸에리토리코, 영국과 중국)에 대한 방사선위험계수의 예측 및 평가결과에 근거를 두고 있다. 이 저선량 방사선의 (확률적 영향) 위험계수는 인체피폭 방사선량과 그 영향간에는 선형 비례관계가 있으며 영향유발의 문턱값이 존재하지 않는다는 가정인 '선형 무문턱값 선량-영향 모델 (Linear No-Threshold Dose-Effect Model, 이른바 LNT 모텔)' 을 도입하여 유도된 것이다(譯者 밑줄). 그러나 이 LNT 가정의 과학적 근거와 정당성에 대한 비난이 원자력산업계나 일부 과학자들에 의해 제기된 이래, 최근에는 미국 보건물리학회 (HPS)에서 'LNT 가정이 선량과 영향의 관계를 단순화하며 낮은 선량의 위험음 과대평가한다'는 성명서를 발표하기도 했다. 이후 이에 대한 논쟁이 다시 시작되어, 1997 년에 스페인의 Sevill에서는 IAEA와 WHO의 공동주최와 UNSCEAR의 협조로 '저준위 방사선 영향에 대한 국제회의'가 개최되기도 하였으나 아직 어느 쪽에도 유리한 결론이 단정적으로 나지 않았으며, 실질적인 대안이 없는 현실에서 이 LNT 가정은 여전히 방사선방호의 철학적 기초로 남아 있다(譯者 밑줄). 한편, 저선량 방사선의 영향에 대해서는 우리나라에서도 '방사선방어학회, ‘98 년 춘계 심포지움' 및 '원자력학회, '98 년 춘계 학술발표회 워크??????'에서 한양대학교의 이재기 교수에 의하여 소개, 논의된 바 있다.이 논문은 이러한 논의의 후속으로 역자중 일인이 위원으로 있는 OECD/NEA 방사선방호위원회 (CRPPH)가 최근에 ('98.7.) 발간한 보고서를 번역, 주해한 것으로, 과학지식의 진보에 따라 방사선방호분야에서 관심이 되는 주제들에 대한 위원회의 검토의견을 소개하고 있다. 따라서 이 논문이 국내의 방사선방호분야 관계자들에게 최신정보 습득과 지식함양에 좋은 도움이 되기를 기대한다.

The present study was intended to present desirable directions of project learning of curriculum subjects utilizing school libraries. To this end, lesson contents including theme selection policies and selected themes were grasped centering on Chinese project learning conducted in the school library of S academic high school and examples of students' reports were presented. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 117 high school students in the second year who participated in the Chinese project class to analyze their interest in the themes, their perception of school library-assisted instructional processes and how the school library-assisted Instruction helped the students Also, this study analyzed differences in the perception of the help provided by the school library-assisted Instruction among students in the department of liberal arts, those in the department of natural sciences and those in the department of arts. The results of the study indicated that the students' satisfaction of the school library-assisted Instruction was high.

This study aims to identify the problems of services for the disabled in Presidential archives and to propose methods to solve those problem. To achieve the goal this study conducted literature surveys such as existing researches, laws and surveys on people with disabilities, and conducted case studies on domestic institutions that provide similar services with archives and US Presidential Archives. Also, information disclosure request was made to the service representatives in Presidential Archives and we analyed the current status of offline services for the disabled who visited Presidential Archives based on the results of literature review, case studies and information disclosure request. As a result, the problems were found in terms of space and facilities, assistive devices, programs and manpower and we proposed the methods to improve the services for the disabled.

Looking at the large and small fire, explosion, or release accidents that occurred recently, we can see that the accident of subcontractor workers has been increased in the contractor workplace while a harmful or dangerous maintenance works. In this study, the actual status of subcontractor's safety management was examined by using the questionnaire to the contractor who submitted the process safety report. In order to improve the safety management of subcontractors, the responsibility and rational role-sharing between the contractors and subcontractors were reviewed. Also, Providing safety and health information and worker protection measures during maintenance were investigated. The results of this study can be used to help strengthen and improvement safety management of the subcontractor at the time of a hazardous or dangerous works. In addition, it will be utilized to reduce industrial accidents and to build mutual cooperation relationship between contractor and subcontractor.

The purpose of this study is to analyze inquiry tasks of textbooks in middle schools social studies under the information literacy process and find out teacher librarians' educational information service on the side of information literacy education. Results of the analysis show that middle school students who carry out the inquiry tasks of social studies should select sources, seek its' related information and create their products through writing reports or presentation. Compared with information literacy process of the "Library and Information Skills", the First step of task definition and figuring out information needs and the Third step of representation of information are being implemented. For this reason, teacher librarian could reduce social studies teachers' burden of class and promote students' inquiry activities by teaching skills of suitable materials seeking strategies for solving their task, understanding and synthesizing the information and evaluating their process and result. Therefore, it is necessary to activate collaborative teaching between the teacher librarian and the social studies teacher based on the information literacy.
