In this work, we consider an elliptic system $$\left{\array {-{\Delta}u=au+bv+{\delta}_1u+-{\delta}_2u^-+f_1(x,u,v) && in\;{\Omega},\\-{\Delta}v=bu+cv+{\eta}_1v^+-{\eta}_2v^-+f_2(x,u,v) && in\;{\Omega},\\{\hfill{70}}u=v=0{\hfill{90}}on\;{\partial}{\Omega},}$$, where ${\Omega}{\subset}R^N$ be a bounded domain with smooth boundary. We prove that the system has at least two nontrivial solutions by applying linking theorem.

In this paper, we study a special class of linear codes, called skew cyclic codes, over the ring $R=F_p+vF_p$, where $p$ is a prime number and $v^2=v$. We investigate the structural properties of skew polynomial ring $R[x,{\theta}]$ and the set $R[x,{\theta}]/(x^n-1)$. Our results show that these codes are equivalent to either cyclic codes or quasi-cyclic codes. Based on this fact, we give the enumeration of distinct skew cyclic codes over R.

In dieser vorliegenden Arbeit handelt es sich urn die Verbstellung deutscher $S\"{a}tze$. Deutsche Satze lassen sich in 3 Klassen (V1-, V2-, und VE-Struktur nach der Verbstellung einteilen. Im Rahmen der GB-Theorie gibt es jedoch nur einen Platz, an dem eine Konjunktion auftreten kann. Deshalb muss man $f\"{u}r$ zusammengesetzte Konjunktionen einen Analysenbaum aufstellen, auf dem ihre einzelnen Bestandteile die C-Position einnehmen: Diese Struktur zeigt eine gute Grundlage, auf der man den 'als-ware'-Satz $f\"{u}r$ die V1-Struktur halten kann. Einerseits leitet die subordinierende Konjunktion '$au{\ss}er$' auch eine V2-Struktur, weil wir nur mit dem minimalen CP zur Verbstellung zu rechnen brauchen; Es gibt keinen Ausweg, $au{\ss}er$ wir bitten ihn um Hilfe. Andererseits ist der Satz in der V1-Form, den die koordinierende Konjunktion 'noch' mit einen anderen Satz verbindet; Sie brauchte weder Hilfe, noch bat sie um Rat. Das beruht auf der Tatsache, dass die koordinierende Konjunktion 'noch' nicht im $CP_1$-Bereich liegt.

This paper is concerned with the global behavior of components of radial nodal solutions of semilinear elliptic problems -Δv = λh(x, v) in Ω, v = 0 on ∂Ω, where Ω = {x ∈ R^N : r₁ < |x| < r₂} with 0 < r₁ < r₂, N ≥ 2. The nonlinear term is continuous and satisfies h(x, 0) = h(x, s₁(x)) = h(x, s₂(x)) = 0 for suitable positive, concave function s₁ and negative, convex function s₂, as well as sh(x, s) > 0 for s ∈ ℝ \ {0, s₁(x), s₂(x)}. Moreover, we give the intervals for the parameter λ which ensure the existence and multiplicity of radial nodal solutions for the above problem. For this, we use global bifurcation techniques to prove our main results.

Rhizomucor miehei NRRL 5282 and Rhizopus oryzae NRRL 1526 can produce lipases with high synthetic activities in wheat bran-based solid-state culture. In this study, the purification and biochemical characterization of the lipolytic activities of these lipases are presented. SDS-PAGE indicated a molecular mass of about 55 and 35 kDa for the purified R. miehei and Rh. oryzae enzymes, respectively. p-Nitrophenyl palmitate (pNPP) hydrolysis was maximal at $40^{\circ}C$ and pH 7.0 for the R. miehei lipase, and at $30^{\circ}C$ and pH 5.2 for the Rh. oryzae enzyme. The enzymes showed almost equal affinity to pNPP, but the $V_{max}$ of the Rh. oryzae lipase was about 1.13 times higher than that determined for R. miehei using the same substrate. For both enzymes, a dramatic loss of activity was observed in the presence of 5 mM $Hg^{2+}$, $Zn^{2+}$, or $Mn^{2+}$, 10 mM N-bromosuccinimide or sodium dodecyl sulfate, and 5-10% (v/v) of hexanol or butanol. At the same time, they proved to be extraordinarily stable in the presence of n-hexane, cyclohexane, n-heptane, and isooctane. Moreover, isopentanol up to 10% (v/v) and propionic acid in 1 mM concentrations increased the pNPP hydrolyzing activity of R. miehei lipase. Both enzymes had 1,3-regioselectivity, and efficiently hydrolyzed p-nitrophenyl (pNP) esters with C8-C16 acids, exhibiting maximum activity towards pNP-caprylate (R. miehei) and pNP-dodecanoate (Rh. oryzae). The purified lipases are promising candidates for various biotechnological applications.

For a Borel function ${\psi}:\mathbb{R}{\times}\mathbb{R}{\rightarrow}\mathbb{R}$ satisfying the functional equation $\psi$ (s + t, u + v) + $\psi$(s - t, u - v) = $2\psi$(s, u) + $2\psi$(t, v), we show that it satisfies the functional equation $$\psi$$(s, t) = s(s - t)$$\psi$$(1, 0) + $$st\psi$$(1, 1) + t(t - s)$$\psi$$(0, 1). Using this, we prove the stability of the functional equation f(ax + ay, bz + bw) + f(ax - ay, bz - bw) = 2abf(x, z) + 2abf(y,w) in Banach modules over a unital $C^*$-algebra.

본 연구에서는 유수저항과 해저 마찰력을 동시에 받는 저층 트롤그물의 예망저항을 정도 높게 표현해낼 목적으로, 전보에서 구한 유수저항만을 받을 때의 저항식에 해저 마찰력의 영향을 추가하고, 지금까지 행해진 실험 결과들을 수집하여 분석하였다. 그 결과, 벽 면적이 $S(m^2)$ 되는 저층 트롤그물이 예망속도 $\nu(m/sec)$에서 받는 예망저항 R(kg)은 그물 입구의 단면적을 $S_m\;(m^2)$, 흐름에 수직인 평면에 대한 그물의 총 투영면적을 $S_n\;(m^2)$, 자루그물 앞끝의 완성 둘레를 B(m)라 할 때 $$R=4.5(\frac{S_n}{S_m})^{1.2}S\;v^{-1.8}+20(Bv)^{1.1}$$으로 주어졌다. 그러나, 실용적으로는 윗 식보다 $R=kS\nu^2$의 형태로 표시하는 것이 더욱 편리하다고 볼 수 있기 때문에, 실험 결과들을 이 식에 적용하여 저항계수 $k(kg{\cdot}sec^2/m^4)$를 여러 가지 측면에서 검토해 본 결과, k는 근사적으로딜만의 함수로 표시할 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 그물의 완성 전장을 L (m)이라 할 때 $S{\propto}BL$이어서 $S/BL=\alpha$라 둘 수 있기 때문에 R(kg)은 근사적으로 $$R=18{\alpha}B^{0.5}L\;v^{1.5}$$으로 표시해도 좋다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한, $\alpha$의 값은 그물마다 달라 $0.40\~0.55$의 범위이긴 하나 전체 평균치 0.48에서 크게 벗어나지 않았기 때문에, 저층 트롤그물들을 총괄해서 표시할 때는 $\alpha=0.48$을 적용함으로써 R (kg)을 $$R=9\;B^{0.5}\;L\;v^{1.5}$$ 으로 대신해도 좋다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

We present BVRI CCD photometry and near-infrared K photometry of the intermediate-aged open cluster NGC 7790. The reddening, E(B - V) = 0.54 $\pm$ 0.05 and the distance modulus, (m - M)o = 12.45 $\pm$ 0.10 for the cluster were determined by zero-age-main-sequence fitting and theoretical isochrone fitting using not only (V, B - V), (V, V - 1), (V, V - R) but also (V, V - K) color-magnitude diagrams. The reddening corresponded approximately to the average value derived from previous studies, while the distance modulus was found to be almost midway between the CCD photometric results of Romeo et al. (1989) and those of Mateo & Madore (1988). We have used four colors to distinguish members from field stars. The expected colors were calculated using the derived distance modulus, and were then were compared with the observed colors (B - V), (V - 1), (V - R), and (V - K). Thus, a color excess E(B - V) for each star was determined which could give the minimum difference between the calculated and observed colors. Single and binary members of the cluster were determined on the basis of the E(B - V) distribution of stars.
