FUZZY SUB-IMPLICATIVE IDEALS OF BCI-ALGEBRAS

  • We Consider the fuzzification of sub-implicative ideals in BCI-algebras, and investigate some related properties. We give conditions for a fuzzy ideal to be a fuzzy sub-implicative ideal. we show that (1) every fuzzy sub-implicative ideal is a fuzzy ideal, but the converse is not true, (2) every fuzzy sub-implicative ideal is a fuzzy positive implicative ideal, but the converse is not true, and (3) every fuzzy p-ideal is a fuzzy sub-implicative ideal, but the converse is not true. Using a family of sub-implicative ideals of a BCI-algebra, we establish a fuzzy sub-implicative ideal, and using a level set of a fuzzy set in a BCI-algebra, we give a characterization of a fuzzy sub-implicative ideal.

A Study on EOQ Model Involving Estimate Errors (수요, 주문 및 재고비용이 불확실한 상황에서의 EOQ모형에 관한 연구)

  • We consider the sensitivity of average inventory cost rate when true values of the parameters in the EOQ model are unknown over known ranges. In particular, in the case that the valid range on the true economic lot size are known, we provide a formula for estimating the lot size under minimax criterion. Moreover, to estimate the valid range, we apply the propagation of errors technique. Then, we present a scheme to find a (valid) lot size, based on the estimated range of the true lot size from the propagation of errors technique.

  • This paper shows accuracy comparison results of reliability estimation methods for one-shot systems with respect to sample sizes. To compare accuracy in reliability estimation methods, quantal-response data, characterizing one-shot systems, were simulated using failure times of LED obtained through the accelerated life test, and then the true reliability over time was evaluated using the failure times. The simulated quantal-response data were used to estimate the true reliability through applying reliability estimation methods in open literature. Accuracy of each reliability estimation method was compared in terms of both SSE (Sum of Squared Error) and MSE (Mean Squared Error), and then estimation trend for each method is found. Feasible bounds which true reliability would exist within were estimated through applying the found trends to quantal-response data set of a real weapon system.

  • This paper describes the results of study on the measurement method of TRMS (true root mean square value) In electrosurgical unit. We used three type (direct computing type, indirect computing type, thermal converting type) in the measurement of TRMS. Three types of measurement method were compared with respect to power level, frequencey and crest factor in addition to environmental temperature.   • The purpose of this paper is to provide the affirmative solution of the following conjecture due to Davis and Geramita. Conjecture; Let A=R[T] be a polynomial ring in one variable, where R is a regular local ring of dimension d. Then maximal ideals in A are complete intersection. Geramita has proved that the conjecture is true when R is a regular local ring of dimension 2. Whatwadekar has rpoved that conjecture is true when R is a formal power series ring over a field and also when R is a localization of an affine algebra over an infinite perfect field. Nashier also proved that conjecture is true when R is a local ring of D[ $X_{1}$,.., $X_{d-1}$] at the maximal ideal (.pi., $X_{1}$,.., $X_{d-1}$) where (D,(.pi.)) is a discrete valuation ring with infinite residue field. The methods to establish our results are following from Nashier's method. We divide this paper into three sections. In section 1 we state Theorems without proofs which are used in section 2 and 3. In section 2 we prove some lemmas and propositions which are used in proving our results. In section 3 we prove our main theorem.eorem.rem.

Optically Driven Phased Array Antenna (광섬유를 이용한 위상 배열 안테나)

  • In this paper, we present theoretical designs for a beam steering phased array antenna that uses a true time delay optical feeder. A variable true time delay is achieved by employing one tunable laser source and high dispersion fibers with different length. The wavelength tunable optical carrier propagation in a high-dipersion fiber realizes a true time delay, with the steering direction set by a single voltage controlling the wavelength. Beamsteering of a phased array antenna is obtained by controlling the tunable laser source. An employment of a high dispersion fiber response shows wide-band operation of beem steering antenna system.

  • A single-index model is useful in fields which employ multidimensional regression models. Many methods have been developed in parametric and nonparametric approaches. In this paper, posterior inference is considered and a wavelet series is thought of as a function approximated to a true function in the single-index model. The posterior inference needs a prior distribution for each parameter estimated. A prior distribution of each coefficient of the wavelet series is proposed as a hierarchical distribution. A direction $\beta$ is assumed with a unit vector and affects estimate of the true function. Because of the constraint of the direction, a transformation, a spherical polar coordinate $\theta$, of the direction is required. Since the posterior distribution of the direction is unknown, we apply a Metropolis-Hastings algorithm to generate random samples of the direction. Through a Monte Carlo simulation we investigate estimates of the true function and the direction.

A 5-20 GHz 5-Bit True Time Delay Circuit in 0.18 ㎛ CMOS Technology

  • This paper presents a 5-bit true time delay circuit using a standard 0.18 ${\mu}m$ CMOS process for the broadband phased array antenna without the beam squint. The maximum time delay of ~106 ps with the delay step of ~3.3 ps is achieved at 5-20 GHz. The RMS group delay and amplitude errors are < 1 ps and <2 dB, respectively. The measured insertion loss is <27 dB and the input and output return losses are <12 dB at 5-15 GHz. The current consumption is nearly zero with 1.8 V supply. The chip size is $1.04{\times}0.85\;mm^2$ including pads.

  • This paper proposes a method by which the estimated values of the unknown parameters of system are converged to the true values in finite time using adaptive deadbeat controller. After those are converged to the true values, the deviation from these values do not virtually exist or, if any, extremely small. Also we apply this technique of deadbeat convergence to a system contaminated with white noise or colored noise. It is shown that the estimated parameters of those systems approach the true values in finite time even though the performance do not match perfectly with the system without noises.
