Impact of Destination Image and Satisfaction on Tourist Loyalty: Mountain Destinations in Thanh Hoa Province, Vietnam

  • The study aims to assess the impact of destination image, satisfaction and loyalty of tourists at mountain destinations in Thanh Hoa province, Vietnam. The study involves questionnaire surveys and multivariate data analysis methods (Cronbach Alpha test, EFA, CFA, SEM). Research results from 500 tourists in the mountain destinations of Thanh Hoa province demonstrate that all factors have imposed a positive impact on tourist satisfaction, specifically: The most influential factor is Natural features, followed by Human factors while the least influential factor is Infrastructure; On the other hand, research results also demonstrate that satisfaction has a substantial impact on tourist loyalty. Based on the research results, we also proposed some key solutions to enhance the destination image, thereby contributing to increased satisfaction and loyalty of tourists, including: (i) Promoting Natural Tourism Resources. (ii) Raising Awareness of Environmental Protection. (iii) Building Local Cultural Identity. (iv) Building Exclusive Tourist Products. (5) Strengthening the Support of Local Authorities for Tourism Activities. (vi) Developing a Price Policy.

NCS기반 음료자격증교육만족도가 전공만족도 및 취업준비행동에 미치는 영향 연구 (A Study on the Effects of NCS-based Beverage Certificate Education Satisfaction on Major Satisfaction and Employment Preparation Behavior)

  • 본 연구는 NCS기반 음료자격증교육만족도가 전공만족도 및 취업준비행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하여 개선방안을 제시하고자 실시하였다. 연구대상자는 수도권에 위치한 호텔관광전공 학생들을 대상으로 2018년 5월1일부터 6월30일까지 설문조사를 실시하여 총 300부 중 271부를 분석에 사용하였다. 연구결과 본 연구에서 설정한 가설은 모두 유의적인 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었으며, 특히 '교육과정', '담당교수', '자격증의 효용성', '자격증 유형', '교수만족도', '전공교수'의 항목에서 중요한 영향을 미치는 결과가 도출되었다. 이에 호텔관광계열학과에서 음료자격증 교육프로그램 운영 시 위의 항목을 우선시 하여 학생들의 만족도를 높이는 교육프로그램이 운영되어야 할 것이다. 또한 음료자격증은 취업준비와 전공만족도에도 중요한 영향을 미치는 만큼 학생지도에 있어 전략으로 활용하여 학과의 만족도와 취업률 향상에 일조하는 방향으로 운영되어야 한다.

관광지 선택행동에 따른 만족도에 관한 연구 (A study on the User Satisfaction of Travel behavior)

  • This study is concerned with analysis of user satisfaction for travel behavior. It is aimed at investigating the socioeconomic characteristics, motivation, and use pattern of the visitors at tour. For tourists' perception and preference analysis, multi-dimensional scaling was used. It is left that this type of marketing analysis of tourism and travel offers great potentional for those concerned with the developement and management of tourist vacation areas. First, the study demanstrated clearly that different tourist and portential visitors to a tourist area seek different benefit bundles from their vacation in a particular tourist areas. Second, it demonstrated that a benefit segmentation approach to tourism and travel would be the most effective that the demographic segmentation approach usually pursued in the tourism and travel industry. Form a methodological viewpoint, it has demonstrated an application of multidimensional scaling techniques to marketing in an important industry.

해외 의료관광객의 Air Ambulance를 이용한 의료관광서비스 만족도에 관한 연구 : 러시아 이용객을 중심으로 (A Study of Russian Patients' Satisfaction on Medical Tourism in Korea with Air Ambulance Service)

  • Airline and medical industry in Korea have rapidly grown since 21st century. However, air ambulance service using an aircraft has not as popular as in Japan, Europe or United States. Central government has decided to start emergency helicopter service since 2011 to transport emergency patients transported in the past by fire fighter helicopter. Unfortunately, 32 OECD countries out of 33 have operated emergency aircraft system except Korea. There are more than 25 emergency helicopters in Japan, which can operate within five minutes. Such system could save a lot of social direct or in-direct cost by saving valuable lives of Japan citizens. This paper has tried to research the perception of overseas Russian medical tourists on using Air ambulance for their medical tourism to Korea. Researching air ambulance, this paper expects to find ways to enhance both medical tourism industry and airline, business jet industry. According to research results, it was proven that tangibility of medical tourism service has a positive effect on the human factor of air ambulance. The human factor has also a significant impact on the passenger comfortableness of air ambulance. Such comfortableness increases the overall satisfaction of medical tourism.

Museum Service Quality, Satisfaction, and Revisit Intention: Evidence from the Foreign Tourists at Bangkok National Museums in Thailand

  • Despite its importance to Thailand, museum tourism has not received sufficient attention from researchers and practitioners. Consequently, knowledge of museum tourist responses toward museum service quality is quite limited. Thus, the purpose of this study was to (1) examine the service quality of museums in Thailand and (2) revealed how tourists react positively namely through satisfaction and revisit intentions. This study further explored how the proposed relationships vary between Asian and European tourists. Based on Harrison and Shaw's (2004) museum experience model, facilities, staff services, and exhibition experience were proposed as three important service elements encountered during a service experience. Data were collected from foreign tourists who visited any of the 6 national museums in Bangkok. A total of 260 questionnaires were obtained over a 3-month period, all of which were retained and utilized for the analysis. Results found that exhibition experience and staff services were positively associated with tourist museum visit satisfaction, which in turn acted on revisit intention. In addition, exhibition experience was found to be the most important service element for Asian tourists, while staff services was most important for European tourists. Staff services and exhibition experience both played important roles in the tourist museum experience, while facilities did not have an effect on the evaluation of museum services. In response, museum managers need to implement a segmentation strategy that considers tourists' backgrounds such as region, culture, or nationality.

VR관광콘텐츠의 이용만족에 대한 연구 (A Study on Satisfaction on Use of VR Tourism Program)

  • 정보통신기술의 발달로 관광객들에 제공되는 새로운 기술 기반의 관광콘텐츠들이 개발되고 활용되어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 제주지역의 환경자산으로서 곶자왈을 테마로 구성된 VR관광콘텐츠인 "비밀의 바람 숲"을 이용한 관광객을 대상으로 이용만족을 살펴보는데 있다. 이를 위해 문헌 고찰을 통해 연구모형을 제시하였으며, VR관광콘텐츠을 이용한 관광객 대상으로 277부의 유효 표본을 확보하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 구조모델의 연구가설(H1~H5)은 채택 되었다. 첫째, 개인혁신성은 지각된 용이성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 개인혁신성은 이용만족에 영향을 미쳤으며, 지각된 용이성은 이용만족에 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 연구결과는 VR기기 관광콘텐츠 개발과 활용에서 있어 학술적 실무적으로 의미가 있다. 학술적으로는 콘텐츠 응용에 관점에서 VR관광콘텐츠에 대한 관광소비자 관련 연구들에 관광활동, 행동, 태도 등 기초이론을 제공될 수 있으며, 실무적으로는 VR관광콘텐츠를 활용하고자 하는 관광마케터들과 VR기기를 활용하는 콘텐츠 개발자들에게 관광자원의 활용하는 VR기기 스토리 구성과 타켓 시장을 고려한 콘텐츠 기획과 실행에 도움을 줄 수 있다.

  • 국내 B2C(Business to Customer)서비스 산업의 경쟁력 제고를 위해서는 고객 중심의 피드백 분석 및 프로세스 개선과 평가 서비스 체계로의 전환이 필요하다. 이를 위한 중요한 요소는 고객 만족도의 정확한 피드백인데 우리나라에서는 고객 만족도 측정에 대한 정량적이고 표준화된 시스템이 부재한 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라 여러 B2C 서비스 산업 중에서 최근 고부가가치 산업으로 각광을 받고 있는 의료관광산업에 있어 고객만족도 평가모델을 제안하고 스마트폰을 이용하여 의료관광 고객만족도를 평가하는 어플리케이션 시스템을 제안하고자 한다.

Exploring the Influence of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality on User Satisfaction in Virtual Tourism

  • Purpose: This study aims to measure how information quality, system quality, security, usefulness, and ease of use of Augmented Reality (VR) and Virtual Reality (AR) influence user satisfaction, motivating intelligent travel technology developers to improve VR/AR quality to meet customer requirements. Research design, data and methodology: This study investigates users interested in travelling in Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang City, Vietnam. The research model was implemented using an online questionnaire and face-to-face from 405 valid samples. To evaluate the scale's reliability, the study used the software SPSS 20. Test research hypotheses and evaluate measurement and structural models. This research uses AMOS 20 software. The proposed model is firmly grounded in the Information System Success model (ISS) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), providing a solid theoretical foundation for our research. Results: Results show that consumer perceptions of information quality, system quality, security, usefulness, and ease of use have a positive impact on the perceived quality of VR/AR, thereby influencing tourists' travel intention. Conclusions: The results of this research enrich the theoretical understanding of consumer behaviour toward intelligent technology products in tourism, providing management implications for manufacturers to improve the quality of tourism products and satisfy user requirements in experience before considering choosing a destination.

Key Factors Affecting Sustainable Tourism in the Region of South Central Coast of Vietnam

  • Sustainable tourism is the development of tourism activities to meet the current needs of tourists and indigenous peoples while paying attention to the conservation and improvement of resources for the development of tourism activities in the future (World Tourism Organization, 2013). With the aim of identifying factors affecting the development of sustainable tourism in the South Central Coast of Vietnam, the study conducted a typical survey of 160 tourism managers and 240 tourists traveling or have participated in tourism activities of 8 provinces in the South Central Coast of Vietnam, and used the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) analysis and regression analysis for analyzing the data. The research results show that 11 factors impact the development of sustainable tourism in the South Central Coast namely Institutions and policies for tourism development, Infrastructure, Tourism resources, Human resources for tourism, Diversity of tourism services, Relevant support services, Activities of association and cooperation for tourism development, Tourism promotion and encouragement, Tourists' satisfaction, Local community, and Other factors. At the same time, among the above factors, the factors Institutions and policies for tourism development, Infrastructure, Tourism resources, and Local community strongly impact the development of sustainable tourism in the region.

A Study on Revitalization of Dental Medical Tourism in Korea

  • 의료관광은 의료서비스와 관광을 동시에 제공받기 위해 해외로 방문하는 것을 의미한다. 즉, 의료서비스와 다양한 문화 활동, 레저, 쇼핑 등을 접목한 관광 활동이라고 할 수 있다. 이처럼 의료관광이란 단순한 의료서비스에 국한하지 않고 관광 서비스와 융합되어 새로운 수익을 창출하는 신 고부가가치 산업으로 많은 국가들이 해외 관광객 유치를 통해 자국의 관광산업을 육성하기 위하여 지속적인 노력을 기울이고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 우리나라의 의료관광산업 중 치과의료서비스에 있어서 경쟁력을 확보하기 위해서 치과의사의 진료, 병원의 시설, 치과의 스텝, 환자의 만족도 사이에 어떠한 연관성이 있는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 그 결과 치과의사의 진료는 병원의 시설 치과의 스텝, 환자의 만족 모두에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.
