Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a guidebook for teachers about coping behavior education in emergency situations for elementary school students. Method: Dick and Carey's teaching model (1996) and Keller's ARCS theory (1985) was applied to develop this guidebook. Results: The contents consist of subjects, reference materials for teachers, a case study, and worksheets for students. The contents of the 5 units are as follows: 1)Identifying a dangerous situation around the school area and in school, 2)Coping tips in dangerous situations that can occur at school, 3)Prevention and coping method of sexual violence, 4)Coping method for natural disasters, and 5)First aid in emergency situations. The presented case study was a real case scenario and the worksheets contained various activities initiated by students. Conclusions: This guidebook can be an effective tool in coping education classes for emergency situations at elementary schools. The goal of the guideline book is reach as many elementary schools as possible.

본 연구는 제7차 교육과정에 따른 중학교 $\ulcorner$기술 가정$\lrcorner$ 교과 교사용 지도서에 대한 가정 교사의 인식 및 활용실태를 분석하여 우리 교육 현실에 맞는 새로운 교사용 지도서의 개발에 대한 참고 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 연구 자료는 이메일을 통하여 수집하였는데 전국의 중학교를 대상으로 서울시교육청 및 각 도교육청 그리고 각 광역시 교육청에 등록되어 있는 중학교 홈페이지를 방문하여, 홈페이지에 등록되어 있는 가정 교사의 이메일을 토대로 하였으며, 설문은 Web을 구축하여 사이트에 접속해서 답변을 할 수 있게 하였다. 855명에게 이메일을 발송한 결과 366명이 설문에 응답을 해주었으나 기술교사 9명과 중복 답변 2명을 제외한 355명의 응답이 분석에 사용되었다. 자료는 SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, t-test, 일원분산분석(One-way ANOVA)을 하였으며, 사후검증으로 Duncan's Multiple Range Test를 실시하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가정 교사들은 교사용 지도서에 대해 필요성을 느끼고 있으나 필요성에 비해 교사용 지도서가 도움이 되지 못하며 따라서 만족도가 보통인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 교사용 지도서 활용교사가 미활용교사보다 교사용 지도서에 대해 긍정적으로 인식하고 있었으며, 기술교육 전공 교사가 가정교육 전공 교사보다 교사용 지도서가 더 도움이 된다고 하였다. 둘째, 가정 교사들은 교사용 지도서에서 가장 많이 참고하는 부분은 '차시별 지도의 실제'로 나타났고, 각 부분에 따라 총론은 '교수-학습 방법', 각론은 '차시별지도의 실제(학습내용해설)', 차시별 지도의 실제는 '학습 자료'와 '학습 내용 및 활동'으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교사용 지도서를 활용하지 않는 교사들은 교사용 지도서가 충분한 도움을 주지 못하거나 다른 참고 자료를 활용하기 때문인 것으로 나타났으며, 교사용 지도서 외에 인터넷 사이트, 시청각 자료를 가장 많이 참고하며, 이런 자료는 내용이 풍부하고 사용하기 편하기 때문인 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 교사용 지도서의 개선사항으로 수업에 활용할 수 있는 학습 자료의 제시, 다양한 교수-학습 과정안 제시, 수행평가 계획 및 기준에 대한 구체적 제시, 교과서 내용에 대한 충분한 보충 설명, 지도서의 외형적 체재 개선 모두에서 높게 나타났다.

This study is attempted to propose a quality evaluation method of the materials for nutrition education by applying readability test of printed materials for nutrition education. It is significantly important for the teaching class with nutrition education materials to consider students understanding level and education materials topics or choosing words in developed printed materials. This study performed an evaluation of the readability of text in teachers' guidebook, which is devised for elementary school students' education material about sugar, sodium and trans-fat and attempted to estimate the developing materials through analyzing difficulty level of the text. We utilized "The Teacher's Guidebook for Cooking Activity" that had been developed for elementary school by Ministry Education Science and Technology, as the readability evaluation standard. Compared with the average score of readability about "The Teacher's Guidebook for Cooking Activity", $72.94{\pm}6.85$, "Sugar Guidebook" was 70.94{\pm}7.46, "Sodium Guidebook" was $68.76{\pm}14.50$, and "Trans-fat Guidebook" was $58.87{\pm}10.79$. Considering the subjects careers or ages, "The Teacher's Guidebook for Cooking Activity" has little deviation by the subjects careers or ages and was "intermediate" or "easy" level; however, "Sugar Guidebook", "Sodium Guidebook", "Trans-fat Guidebook" was "intermediate" or "difficult" level (p < 0.05). Readability score was especially low when the contents of some particular subjects were too professionalized or scientific terms were frequently used, and thes results were definitely seen in the "Sodium Guidebook" and "Trans-fat Guidebook". With Cloze test score, the readability evaluation will be using as an evaluation tool for the nutrition education materials.

본 연구는 누리과정 교사용 지도서에 나타난 구강보건 관련 교육활동을 조사하고자 실시하였다.구강보건 관련 교육 활동의 분포, 형태 및 유형, 누리과정 관련요소 내용범주 및 내용 등을 분석하였다. 구강보건 관련 교육활동 수는 총 29(1.37%)로 조사되었다. 활동형태는 대 소집단 활동이 15(51.72%), 자유선택 활동이 14(48.27%)로 나타났다. 활동유형은 대 소집단 활동에서 이야기 나누기가 7(24.13%)로 가장 많았고 자유선택 활동에서는 음율 영역이 4(13.79%)로 가장 많게 나타났다. 누리과정 관련요소(5대 영역)는 전체 연령에서 신체운동 건강이 22(34.38%)로 가장 많았다. 본 연구결과를 기초로 향후 누리과정 교사용 지도서 편성시 구강보건 전문가가 참여하여 구강보건 관련 교육활동이 더 많아지고 보다 균형 있고 실제적인 활동으로 재편성이 필요하리라 사료된다.

This study details a researcher's self-study journey in advancing from a computational thinking (CT) novice to an expert. The researcher went through a four-stage process, with a preliminary literature review preceding the four stages. From the literature review, the computational thinking analysis (CT_AT) tool was developed for use in stage one to analyze science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematic (STEAM) modules. Although no discernable patterns were found in analyzing the five science and five engineering-based modules, the analysis revealed which CT practices were missing or weakly exposed. In stage two activities were suggested to promote these missing or weakly exposed practices. Stage three required the researcher to develop his own STEAM module from the viewpoint of exposing students to CT. The fourth stage was to validate the CT_AT through interviews with pre-service and in-service teachers. These interviews led to changes in the CT_AT tool and, as a result, the researcher produced a guidebook that could be used by teachers in their own CT studies. This guidebook can be used by teachers to develop and become competent in CT skills.

The purpose of this study was to analyze elementary school teachers' understanding, certainty, and familiarity with 13 key concepts of wave physics that are presented in textbook and teacher's guidebook. 123 elementary school teachers answered concept tests and questionnaires. In the results to these tests and questionnaires, teachers demonstrated a high level of understanding and high certainty in understanding with regard to the concepts of sound generation, effect of medium on wave, timbre, wavelength, and trough and crest of wave. For the topics of sound velocity, wave reflection and wave transmission, teachers demonstrated a high level of understanding but low certainty in understanding. With regard to sound propagation, teachers demonstrated a low level of understanding and an improperly high certainty in that low understanding. Teachers lacked knowledge, i.e., displayed a low level of understanding and low certainty in sound strength, sound frequency, constructive interference and destructive interference. In constructive and destructive interference, the teachers also displayed a low level of familiarity. We analyzed the differences in teacher's understanding, certainty, and familiarity according to teacher demographics defined by the teacher's gender, teaching experience with concepts of sound, career, curriculum track while in high school, and major in university. There were no significant differences in understanding, certainty, or familiarity as defined by gender, teaching experience, and career. However, these displays of knowledge were affected by the teacher's curriculum track in high school and their major. These results suggest that the teacher's understanding of, familiarity with, and certainty in wave physics concepts are more influenced by their learning experience than by their teaching experience. Therefore, we suggest additional learning opportunities for teachers (such as teacher training programs) in order to improve teacher knowledge and correct teacher misconceptions in wave physics.

본 연구는 5세 누리과정 교사용 지도서의 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 중 플래시에 대한 유아교사의 활용실태 및 만족도를 알아보고 앞으로의 교수학습을 돕는 콘텐츠 개발이 나아가야 할 방향이 되는 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 부산시에 소재한 유치원, 어린이집에 근무하는 유아교사 144명이며, 5세 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 중 플래시에 대한 인식 및 실행에 관한 설문지를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도와 백분율로 산출하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 유아교사는 5세 멀티미디어 콘텐츠에 대해 대체로 만족해하고 도움을 받고 있다고 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 실제 현장에서 멀티미디어 콘텐츠는 비교적 낮게 활용하고 있었으며 그 중 플래시에 대한 유아교사의 활용은 전체 응답자의 과반수이상이 잘 활용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대 소집단 활동영역과 생활주제별에 따른 활용과 만족도는 동화 동시 동극과 이야기나누기, 그리고 우리나라, 봄 여름 가을 겨울에서 가장 많이 활용하고 있었으며 그에 따른 만족도는 만족한다는 응답이 가장 많이 나타났다.

This study was attempted to offer the basic data required for composing a systemic education contents for health by analyzing the contents related to health education shown in the guidebook for teachers and the schoolbook for students of all grades in the current 7th education course for elementary school. The objectives and data were totally 162 copies which were 90 copies of national schoolbook for 1~6 grades and 72 copies of guidebook for teachers used in elementary schools in the 7th educational course. The standards of selection for the contents related to health education including in each schoolbook were divided into 11 themes using the health care model suggested by Kim, Hwa Joong(1995) in the guidebook for health curriculum for elementary middle high schools. The results of this study are as follows: Firstly, the total hours of health education suggested in the 7th educational course for elementary school were 274 hours and it was 6.2% of the total class of 4,442 hours. Secondly, the contents about health education were distributed into 9 subjects of The right livelihood, The wise livelihood, The cheerful livelihood, Korean, Morals, Society, Science, Physical education, and Practical course etc. Physical education had the most contents about health education and there was nothing in Mathematics, Music and Arts. Thirdly, contents about health of regional society and environmental health were the most of 53 hours(19.3%), and contents about understanding of health were the least of 4 hours(1.4%). Fourthly, contents included equally in every grades were those about safety and emergency response, health of home and society, health of regional society and environmental health.

The purpose of this study was investigate teachers’demands for home economics guidebooks of senior high school. Home economics teachers of the 379 schools were systematic all selected in nationwide random sampling, and over half of them responded to the mailed questionnaire. These data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, t-test, crosstab ulations, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlations. The findings of this study were as follows: 1) Three kinds of guidbooks and textbooks were mainly used, and over 50% of teachers were using more than one guidebooks to prepare lectures, specially, housing unit. But the satisfaction with the guidebooks was about average. 2) Teachers had different opinions on the information in the housing unit of the guidebook. 3) The most respondents updated statistics, pictures, and practical materials.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze how the elements and principles of fine arts were reflected in art related activities in the teacher's manual on standard childcare curriculum for a period of 2 years. Methods: The analysis criteria for the elements of fine arts were modified and complemented based on Kim and Gang(2011) and the same was done for the principles of fine arts based on Lee et al(2015). Results: First, as a result of analyzing the art contents according to life theme in art related activities, 'artistic expression' appeared the most in all nine life themes. Second, as a result of analyzing the art related contents in the standard childcare curriculum for 2 years based on the elements of fine arts, plane, texture, shape, color, volume, line, spot, space, composition, light and shade appeared in order. Third, as a result of analyzing the art related contents on the principles of fine arts, movement, emphasis, variety, unity, rhythm, proportion, balance and pattern appeared in order. Conclusion/Implications: The results of this research suggest that the childcare activities have to be devoloped in order to provide the balanced experiences with fine arts activities.
