유치원 교사의 교수몰입에 미치는 유치원의 조직문화, 원장의 변혁적 리더십 및 교사의 창의적 인성의 영향 (The Effects of Kindergartens' Organizational Culture, Directors' Transformational Leadership and Teachers' Creative Personality on Kindergarten Teachers' Teaching Flow)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among kindergartens' organizational culture, directors' transformational leadership, teachers' creative personality and teaching flow. The participants of this study were 289 kindergarten teachers in Busan. They completed the survey questionnaire composed of kindergartens' organizational culture scale, directors' transformational leadership scale, teachers' creative personality scale and teaching flow scale. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Cronbach's alpha, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression. The results were as follows: First, there were significant relations among kindergartens' organizational culture, directors' transformational leadership, teachers' creative personality and teaching flow. Second, kindergartens' organizational culture, directors' transformational leadership and teachers' creative personality affected teaching flow of kindergarten teachers. From the findings, it can be suggested that kindergartens' organizational culture, directors' transformational leadership and teachers' creative personality are critical variables to improve teaching flow of kindergarten teachers.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between supervisors' transformational leadership, collectivism and the job satisfaction of teachers in kindergartens and childcare centers. The subjects were 240 teachers employed at kindergartens or childcare centers in Daegu and Gyeongbuk Province. The collected data were analyzed by mean of simple regression, hierarchial regression, and the use of SPSS Win 15.0. The results of our study are as follows. (1) Collectivism was positively associated with supervisors' transformational leadership. (2) The job satisfaction of teachers was positively associated with supervisors' transformational leadership. (3) The interaction effects of supervisors' transformational leadership and collectivism on the job satisfaction of teachers were observed.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between supervisors' transformational leadership, teachers' depression and the psychological empowerment of teachers in kindergartens and childcare centers. The subjects were 208 teachers employed in kindergartens or childcare centers in Daegu and Gyeongbuk Province. Questionnaires, which required self-reporting by teachers, were used to investigate supervisors' transformational leadership, teachers' depression and psychological empowerment. The data thus collected were analyzed by mean of Pearson's correlation, hierarchial regression, and by the use of SPSS Win 15.0. The results of our study were as follows. First, Supervisors' transformational leadership was positively associated with teachers' psychological empowerment. Second, teachers' depression was negatively associated with teachers' psychological empowerment. Finally, The interaction effects of supervisors' transformational leadership and teachers' depression on teachers' psychological empowerment were observed.

보육시설장의 변혁적 리더십이 보육교사의 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Child Care Center Director's Transformational Leadership on the Organizational Commitment of the Child Care Teachers)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the child care center director's transformational leadership on the organizational committment of the child care teachers. The research subjects were 292 child care teachers who worked in 43 facilities of the eastern part of Jeon Nam Province. The data analysis was performed by using SPSS Win 15.0 Program. The results of this study were as follows. First, the teachers rated the transformational leadership of the director as 2.39 points in a scale of 5 points which was recognized as a normal level. Among the transformational leadership categories, the category of vision setting was the highest and the category of setting an example was the lowest. Second, the level of organizational committment of the teachers is rated 3.70 points in a scale of 5 points. Among the organizational commitment categories, the category of normative committment was the highest and followed by the category of affective and continuance commitment. More transformational leadership was related to more organizational commitment from teachers.

보육시설장의 변혁적 지도성에 관한 연구 (Child Care Center Director's Transformational Leadership)

  • The purpose of this research was to investigate factors related to the child care center director's transformational leadership and differences of the awareness about transformational leadership between child care center directors and teachers. A survey was conducted using the questionnaire developed by Lee suk-kyung (1997). Results of this research showed that type of child care center, number of children in the program, director's age, educational degree and years of career related to child care, affected the child care director's transformational leadership as recognized by themselves. From a teacher's point of view, director's transformational leadership was influenced by director's age, educational degree, and years of career related to child care. In addition, different level of awareness about director's transformational leadership between child care directors and teachers was found. Based on the result, a program to enhance director's leadership is strongly needed.

시설장의 변혁적 리더십이 보육교사의 교사효능감에 미치는 영향: 보육교사의 집단적 효능감의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Principals' Transformational Leadership on Efficacy of Teachers in Day Care Centers: A Focus on the Mediating Effect of Collective Efficacy of Teachers)

  • This study examined the relationships among principals' transformational leadership, collective efficacy and efficacy of teachers based on the survey data from 196 teachers working in day care centers in the Incheon and Gyeonggi-do areas. These valuables were all measured by teachers. The collected data were analyzed by Simple Regression and Hierarchical Multiple Regression. The main results of this study were as follows. First, principals' transformational leadership had positive effects on collective efficacy and efficacy of teachers. Second, collective efficacy of teachers had a positive influence on efficacy of teachers. Finally, the effects of principals' leadership on efficacy of teachers was totally mediated by collective efficacy of teachers. Most importantly, the collective efficacy of teachers totally mediated the positive relation between principals' leadership and the individual efficacy of teachers.

  • This study investigated the leadership skills of directors in addition to empowerment and Job satisfaction of teachers in Child Care Centers. The participants were 446 teachers who worked in early childhood educational institutes across Jeju province. The results were as following.: Firstly, transformational leadership significantly affected empowerment. However, individual consideration and transactional leadership from transformational leadership did not significantly affect empowerment. Secondly, individual consideration and intellectual stimulation from transformational leadership had a significant effect on job satisfaction. Also, reward for performance and exceptional management from transactional leadership had a significant effect on the job itself, the relationship, the working environment, and salary package among sub-variables in job satisfaction.

  • This study investigated the influence of director's leadership on teachers' empowerment and organizational effectiveness in early childhood educational institutes. The subjects in this study were 627 teachers who worked at kindergartens and childcare centers located in Seoul and Gyeonggi province. The results showed that (1) transformational leadership had stronger effects on teacher empowerment than transactional leadership. (2) Directors' transformational leadership had meaningful effects on organizational commitment, but their transactional leadership didn't have effects on commitment. (3) Directors' transformational leadership had stronger effects on job satisfaction and job performance than transactional leadership.

유아교육기관장의 변혁적 리더십이 기관 운영관리에 미치는 영향 (The Effect that the Transformational Leadership of a Director of the Early Childhood's Educational Institute Influences on the Management of Institute)

  • 본 연구는 유아교육기관장의 변혁적 리더십 유형이 기관 운영관리에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 서울시내 기관 50개를 임의로 선정하여 유아교육기관 교사 174명을 대상으로 기관장의 리더십 유형과 유아교육기관 운영관리 정도를 측정하였다. 수집된 설문지를 토대로 신뢰도 검증, 독립표본 t 검증, 단순 상관관계 분석과 중다회귀 분석을 한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기관장의 변혁적 리더십의 인식과 기관 운영관리 간의 관계를 분석한 결과, 변혁적 리더십에 대한 전반적인 인식도는 높았고, 두 연구변인 간에 의미 있는 정적상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 기관 교사들의 개인적 변인에 따른 리더십유형에 차이 분석결과 학력에 따라(대졸이상-전문대졸이하)도덕적 리더십에는 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타나 부분적으로 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 변혁적 리더십이 기관운영에 미치는 영향에 대한 분석결과 변혁적 리더십이 기관 운영관리에 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 정치적, 교육적, 문화적 리더십 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이런 의미는 유아교육기관들이 지속적인 변화와 경쟁, 정책 및 관리감독 강화를 통한 보육의 질을 요구받고 있다는 점에서 그 어느 때보다 기관장들의 변혁적 리더십을 중요하다는 것을 시사한다.

고등학생이 지각한 담임교사의 변혁적 지도성과 학습동기 및 학교생활만족도의 관계 (A Study on the Relationship Among Teacher's Transformational Leadership, Academic Motivation, and School-Life Satisfaction Perceived by High School Students)

  • 본 연구는 고등학생이 지각한 담임교사의 변혁적 지도성과 학습동기 및 학교생활만족도의 관계를 연구하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 C 도내 1개 인문계 고등학교 1, 2학년 학생들 총 606명의 남녀 고등학교 학생을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 변혁적 지도성의 차이 분석 결과 담임교사가 15년 이상 경력교사인 집단의 평균이 5년 미만 경력교사의 집단 평균보다 높았으며, 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 학습동기에 있어서 담임교사의 변혁적 지도성을 크게 지각하는 상집단의 평균이 작게 지각하는 하집단의 평균보다 높았고, 이러한 평균의 차이는 통계적으로 유의하였고, 하위변인에서도 모두 유의하였다. 학교생활만족도에서 담임교사의 변혁적 지도성을 크게 지각하는 상집단의 평균이 작게 지각하는 하집단의 평균보다 통계적으로 유의하게 높았고, 하위변인에서도 모두 유의하였다.
