표적기동분석을 위한 Levenberg-Marquardt 적용에 관한 연구 (Study on Levenberg-Marquardt for Target Motion Analysis)

  • Levenberg-Marquardt은 최소자승법 문제의 풀이법으로 잘 알려져 있다. 하지만 이전의 표적기동분석(TMA)의 추적필터의 경우 대부분 Gauss-Newton방법을 사용하고 있으며 Gauss-Newton은 역행열 연산이 요구되어 시스템을 불안정하게 만드는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 Gauss-Newton의 수치적 불안정성을 해결하기 위해 TMA에 Levenberg-Marquardt을 적용하여 Levenberg-Marquardt이 적용된 표적기동분석 알고리즘의 안정성을 실험으로 보인다. 이를 위해 실험에서는 Monte-Calro 시물레이션을 3개 시나리오에 대하여 수행하였으며 그 결과 Levenberg-Marquardt이 Gauss-Newton에 비하여 표적기동분석 결과인 거리, 침로, 속력의 수렴되는 시간이 빨라졌으며 행렬의 발산빈도가 저하되어 표적기동분석 결과가 안정화되었다.

  • We propose two new classes of robust blind equalization algorithms against abrupt changes of channel conditions, which we call a triple-mode algorithm(TMA) and an automatic switch-over algorithm(ASA). The conventional DMGSA exhibits slow convergence rates due to the incorrect equalizer tap-updating process under the severe channel conditions. In order to speed up the convergence process, the TMA operates in triple-mode that is based on the dual-mode of the DMGSA incorporated with the tap-updating control modes of the SGA as well as the MSGA. Without resorting to the decision region for selecting the operation mode in the TMA, the ASA automatically switches the blind mode to the smoother conventional decision-directed mode. The ASA uses the error functional that is the weighted sum of the Generalized Sato error and the decision-directed error, where the weights correspond to the channel conditions. Test results on 16-QAM and 8-VSB datas confirm that the TMA and the ASA perform well under the sudden changes of channel conditions.

Analysis of Dimethylamine and Trimethylamine in Fishes by Gas Chromatography

  • To develop a rapid analytical method of dimethylamine(DMA) and trimethylamine(TMA) in fish, the contents of DMA and TMA in squid(Illex illecebrosus and Sepiell maindroni), cod(Gadus marcrocephalus) and plaice (Paralichthys olivaceus) by gas chromatographic (GC) and colorimetric method were determined. Recoveries for DMA in fish were 86.8~102.5% by GC and 74.2~94.5% by colorimetric method, while those for TMA were 93.0~101.1% by GC and 62.9~117.5% by colorimetric method. The contents of DMA and TMA in fish by GC were 29.7~325.3mg/kg and 145.6~356.0 mg/kg, respectively, and these by colorimetric method were 20.0~241.2mg/kg and 139.1~304.3mg/kg, respectively. The analysis of DMA and TMA in fishes by GC after the solvent extraction was simpler and faster and showed better recovery than colorimetric method.

  • An experimental investigation is conducted to measure phase change temperature and supercooling when acetone is added to TMA 30 wt% clathrate during cooling process in heat source. Also rate of volume change is investigated when acetone is added to TMA 30 wt% clathrate during the cooling process in heat source -8$^{\circ}C$. The results show that phase change temperature is about 4.5~5.5$^{\circ}C$ when acetone is added to TMA 30 wt% clathrate during the cooling process for heat sink temperature of -6, -7$^{\circ}C$ and -8$^{\circ}C$. Supercooling is repressed about 2~1$0^{\circ}C$ when 0.08 wt% acetone is added to it and rate of volume change is decreased about 2.9% when 0.1 wt% acetone is added for the heat sink temperature of -8$^{\circ}C$.

A Newly Developed Non-Cyanide Electroless Gold Plating Method Using Thiomalic Acid as a Complexing Agent and 2-Aminoethanethiol as a Reducing Agent

  • A versatile method for performing non-cyanide electroless gold plating using thiomalic acid (TMA) as a complexing agent and 2-aminoethanethiol (AET) as a reducing agent was investigated. It was found that TMA was an excellent complexing agent for gold. It can be used in electroless gold plating baths at a neutral pH with a high solution stability, makes it a potential candidate to replace conventional toxic cyanide complex. It was found that one gold atomic ion could bind to two TMA molecules to form the [2TMA-Au+] complex in a solution. AET can be used as a reducing agent in electroless gold plating solutions. The highest current density was obtained at electrode rotation rate of 250 to 500 rpm based on anodic and cathodic polarization curves with the mixed potential theory. Increasing AET concentration, pH, and temperature significantly increased the anodic polarization current density and shifted the plating potential toward a more negative value. The optimal gold ion concentration to obtain the highest current density was 0.01 M. The cathodic current was higher at a lower pH and a higher temperature. The current density was inversely proportional to TMA concentration.

  • Target Motion Analysis(TMA) for Passive Sonar Systems with bearing-only measurements needs to enhance system observability to improve target tracking performance by ownship maneuvering. However, tracking problem incurred by weak observaility result in slow convergence of the target estimates.   • In order to detect and track target, submarine gather the target information(bearing, range, frequency and so on) with using multiple sensors. And submarine can estimate target states with target information. In this paper, we suggest the target motion analysis(TMA) filter architecture of submarine and the proposed TMA filter architecture is tested by a series of computer simulation runs and the results are analyzed and verified.

  • Aluminium-doped ZnO (ZnO:Al) films were grown by atomic layer-controlled deposition on glass substrates at temperature of 200 $^{\circ}C$ using diethylzinc($Zn(C_{2}H_{2})_{2}$; DEtZn), water($H_{2}O$) and trimethylaluminium ($Al(CH_{3})_{3}$; TMA) as precursors. As the cycle ratio of TMA to DEZn(TMA/DEZn) increased, the resistivity of the films decreased and the roughness increased. In the case of TMA/DEZn pulse ratio of 1 to 10, the film had a resistivity of $9.7{\times}l0^{-4}{\Omega}{\cdot}cm$ and a roughness of 2.25nm(rms), while in the case of only DEZ injection the film had a resistivity of $3.5{\times}10^{-3}{\Omega}{\cdot}cm$ and a roughness of 1.07nm(rms)

  • TMA clathrate that is used as PCM of low temperature thermal storage system in this research creates hydrate crystallization at higher temperature then pure water, and its application is expected as PCM because of comparatively big latent heat without phase separation phenomenon. Acetone, Ethylen Glycol, and Ethanol is used as additive and evaluated experimentally for the purpose of the improvement in subcooling of TMA clathrate. In view of the results so far achieved subcooling is improved, the running time of the refrigerator is reduced. Thus the results are expected to use for the increase of coefficient of performance of low temperature thermal storage system in the building.
