  • A method for recovering Chui-Lian's orthogonal symmetric/antisymmetric multiwavelets of order 2 from orthogonal two-direction wavelets of order 2 was proposed by Yang and Xie. In this paper we pursue the converse, that is, we propose a method for constructing orthogonal two-direction wavelets of order 2 from orthogonal symmetric/antisymmetric multiwavelets of order 2.

  • The object of study in this paper is generic lightlike submanifolds of an indefinite trans-Sasakian manifold with a quarter-symmetric metric connection. We study the geometry of two types of generic light-like submanifolds, which are called recurrent and Lie recurrent generic lightlike submanifolds, of an indefinite trans-Sasakian manifold with a quarter-symmetric metric connection.

  • Sign patterns of idempotent matrices, especially symmetric idempotent matrices, are investigated. A number of fundamental results are given and various constructions are presented. The sign patterns of symmetric idempotent matrices through order 5 are determined. Some open questions are also given.

  • Based on the creative education theory, the study of the symmetric coordinated use of both hands is the application of both the quality education ideal and the understanding principles of the creative education to the training of using hands. In the light of relevant concepts of the 'Domain' theory and the expertise of both the Chinese and foreign specialists in this field, this article discusses the relation between the tapping of mental creativity, scientific use of hands and the animation of the right hemisphere of the brain with the aim of constructing a new concept of the symmetric coordinated use of both hands.

  • Recently, a symmetric and non-symmetric profile of screw rotor has been designed in the interior. However the processing method of screw rotor and the cutter design for screw rotor were not studied. Therefore we could we could not make the shape of the screw rotor designed by profile function with computer. In this study, we have made cutter profile design program, and manufactured cutters for screw rotors using H.S.S. We have machined screw rotorts of symmetric 4*6 profile, non-symmetric 4*6 profile with almighty milling machine.

  • This paper is devoted to study Ricci semi-symmetric lightlike hypersurfaces of an indefinite cosymplectic space form with structure vector field tangent to hypersurface. The condition for Ricci tensor of lightlike hypersurface of indefinite cosymplectic space form to be semi-symmetric and parallel have been obtained. An example of non-totally geodesic Ricci semi-symmetric lightlike hypersurface in $R^7_2$ have been given.

  • In this paper, we introduce almost α-Cosymplectic f-manifolds endowed with a semi-symmetric non-metric connection and give some general results concerning the curvature of such connection. In particular, we study some curvature properties of an almost α-cosymplectic f-manifold equipped with semi-symmetric non-metric connection.

  • We study the geometry of r-lightlike submanifolds M of a semi-Riemannian manifold $\bar{M}$ with a semi-symmetric non-metric connection subject to the conditions; (a) the screen distribution of M is totally geodesic in M, and (b) at least one among the r-th lightlike second fundamental forms is parallel with respect to the induced connection of M. The main result is a classification theorem for irrotational r-lightlike submanifold of a semi-Riemannian manifold of index r admitting a semi-symmetric non-metric connection.
