Public library is established on impartial accessibility of any distinction as their sex, age, financial status, etc. The function of public library is not only to accumulate materials and offer information but also minimize gulf between the rich and the poor by knowledge possession, which is realized by important means to intercept exclusive possession and power in knowledge pose-industrial society. As it is judged that most public library is established to individual building with thousands of cost, it is judged of obstacles to Increase library buildings. The purpose of this study is try to find the way to Increase In number of public library In Seoul by interaction local education-cultural facilities. The result from this study, the user rate of public library is influenced by number of buildings and accessibility of traffic and public library can improve efficiency by substantial operation by basic function for all age group. The target population of Seoul public library sizes by decuple of advanced countries because of difficulty of accessibility, so it needs to make it small scale and also can offer self-regulation learning, materials and life-long learning programs because generally public library's utilization purpose is different by age. As school in Seoul amounts to 25 times of public library by about 1,200 buildings and can function of lifelong education center with a school library, cultural center and other composition buildings, so school facilities may use as a public library for local residents.

The accurate estimation of construction cost is critical for effective budgeting and financing of the project. Accurate estimates also allow for informed decisions when considering the responsiveness of bids or proposals and for a contractor to better monitor construction progress. However, current method for construction cost of the public educational facility uses a basic criteria in Korea, e.g, construction cost per unit floor area. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine present architectural work cost rate of elementary, middle, and high school delivered by BTL(Build-Transfer-Lease). We examined real construction cost of educational facility according to level of school, such as elementary, middle, and high school. The examination revealed that unit price of BTL educational construction cost are different to the level of school, but the composing rate of architectural work cost of the educational facility are very similar. As a result, it is recommended that future researches are initiated to create specific methods to support the accurate cost estimation of educational facility.

In order to establish a special school considering the rights of disabled students to receive education and the principle of fair regional placement, this study identified the deviation of regional maintenance status of special education facilities and analyzed and examined their characteristics to provide desirable basic data for the establishment of facilities in the future. As a research method, the main status and maintenance index for each region were calculated based on the status of each special education subject and the disability area by using the statistics and facility data of the Ministry of Education, Special Education Policy Division, and the Ministry of Education of each province. According to the analysis results, large cities tended to rely on special classes and general classes due to the lack of facilities at special schools, and local cities showed uneven results for each disability area and supplemented the system lacking special education support centers. In overall evaluation, special education facilities have not yet been leveled across the country.

Based on basic studies on the current status index of BF certification application for school facilities according to the BF certification implementation, this study sought to improve the direction of the different BF certification evaluation indexes for school facilities by investigating and analyzing the status of BF Reservation Certification for elementary schools. A comparative analysis of the status and evaluation indexes of 30 elementary schools in the Gyeongsang region that included indicators of external and internal facilities, sanitary facilities, guidance facilities, and other facilities indicated that school facilities are insufficient to discriminate based on criteria and thus need to be updated for accurate grading. For school facilities that are open for anyone to use, quality improvement should be induced by improving standards and adjusting points for items that earn middle and lower grades.

For students and staff members who spend long periods of time in school, schools must meet a variety of needs such as learning, rest, experience, exchange, play, culture, meeting, and meals. The purpose of this study is to provide basic data aim at improving the school environment by investigating and analyzing the characteristics of middle school students'. For this purpose, the theoretical data collection : case studies and questionnaires, were conducted to analyze the correlation between student's activities and the space utilization of the school. First of all, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 301 middle school students in Ulsan. The t-test and ANOVA analysis were conducted on the questionnaire results to examine whether there was any difference in the perception of school space. The analysis showed significant correlation between interaction with school space according to the characteristics of students' activities. The purpose of this research is to investigate the current status of edu-tech trends and contents of domestic and foreign private companies in order to successfully establish the K-EDU integrated platform, analyze the connection between future teaching-learning methods and learning styles, and provide basic materials to help frontline schools easily link teaching-learning methods to the most suitable contents per subject. To this end, a literature survey and on-site interviews with officials from companies participating in the 2021 Education Fair provided results of investigating 116 edu-tech contents produced by a total of 68 companies, including 22 overseas (28 contents) and 46 domestic (88 contents) ones, on whether they mutually match future teaching-learning methods and learning styles.

This study proposed the basic data that contributes to inducing an effective construction plan through the application of the 4th industrial technology to construct a school building that can guarantee the five goals of construction management: cost, process, quality, safety, and environmental management. To this end, 3D printing, drones, robot automation, and augmented reality technologies that are highly usable in construction sites were identified for construction workers. As part of this, related literature and research data were investigated. The selected 4th industrial technology was investigated and analyzed on how it was used for cost, process, quality, safety, and environmental management in a detailed school construction process. As a result of the analysis, significant results were found for the application plan of the 4th industrial technology in school construction for cost, process, quality, safety, and environmental management.

This study aims to prepare an objective project basis by reviewing the feasibility of reconstructing and remodeling Greensmart Future School project for S High School's main building, which was built more than 40 years ago, in Incheon Metropolitan City, and to apply and review an effective methodology for determining renovation and remodeling. To this end, the feasibility of reconstruction and remodeling was evaluated in the long term by synthesizing the results of quantitative evaluation through economic review and qualitative evaluation through educational functional review. As a result of the study, it was found that the reconstruction plan was advantageous throughout all alternatives in terms of economic costs, and the field survey indicated limitations in spatial functions to support students' various educational activities and applying new directions, especially the 2022 revised curriculum and high school credit system.

During high speed economic growth period in Korea, our society has focused it's energy on the economic and social development based on the strategy of demolition and destruction of all our natural and man-made environment. In progress with that trend, our small cities in Korea also have just followed the metropolitan physical development pattern and considered that imitation of those metropolitan cities' or western cities' changes be the same meaning of "modernization". Therefore, our valuable urban and architectural heritages have been constantly destructed and that situation has been same in Anseong. Now in the new trend of environmentally sustainable urban design and at the new millenium period, we have to focus our attention on the retaining strategy of city's historicity as a city planner or an architect, and the first step for this strategy shall be to clarify the transition process of urban structure, especially of C.B.D. area of small cities since pre-industrial period.

The purpose of this study is to develop the assessment category, items and a detail standard for environmentally friendly evaluation on the School. The results of this study brings on promoted environmentally friendly appreciation, energy and resource conservation, reduction of contaminant, accordance in and around building, etc. For this purpose, analysis of domestic and foreign environmental friendly architectural citation screening system-BREEAM(1991), LEED 2.0(2001), GBTool(2002), KICTEAC (2000), KOEAM(2000), etc.-was preceded, and through interview, survey and forum with professional group, developed evaluation item was verified and reappraised. Developed evaluation item were composed of thirty four basic evaluation items and nine addition items.
