21세기, '빈곤'을 생각해보다: 주관성연구, Q방법론을 활용하여 (Let's Think about 'POVERTY' in the 21st Century : Using the Q methodology of Subjective Study)

  • 본 연구는 우리가 일상에서 생각하는 '빈곤'은 과연 무엇인가에서 출발하였다. 특히 본 연구는 개인적인 주관적 의견을 살펴보기 위하여 주관성연구방법인 'Q방법'을 활용하여 빈곤에 대한 인식을 유형화하였다. 분석결과 다음과 같이 4개의 유형으로 정의되었다. 은 "Retraction type"으로, 빈곤이란 'Retraction', 'Individual Effort Problem', 'Social Structure Problem', 'low status', 'Laziness' 등으로 '되물림의 문제'임을 강조하였다. 는 'Individual Effort Problem', 'Laziness', 'Incompetence', 'starvation' 등을 강조하고 있어, "Individual Problem type"으로 명명하였다. 은 'The food and shelter problem', 'starvation', 'Laziness', 'No Money' 등의 삶의 기본적인 요소인 의식주문제를 강조하고 있어, "Basic Problem type"으로 명명하였다. 는 "Resource Distribution Problem type"으로 사회의 구조적인 문제에 따른 '자원분배의 문제'를 강조하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 주관성연구방법을 활용하여 21세기 빈곤에 대한 인식을 유형화하였으며, 이에 대한 일반화를 위해서 향후 본 연구에서 출발하여 실증연구로의 융합적 확장연구를 기대한다.

High School Students' Problem Solving Approaches on the Concept of Stoichiometry

  • This study examined two students' problem solving approaches: the similarities and the differences in their problem solving approaches, and the general problem solving strategies (heuristics) the students employed were discussed. The two students represent differences not only in terms of grades earned, but also in terms of participation, motivation, attention to detail, and approaches to answering questions and problem solving. Three separate problems were selected for this study: A stoichiometry problem; a fruit salad problem; and a limiting reactant problem. Each student was asked individually on three separate occasions to contribute to this study. There are more similarities in the students' problem solving strategies than there are differences. Both students were able to correctly solve the stoichiometry and the fruit salad problems, and were unable to correctly solve the limiting reactant problem. They recognized that an algorithm could be used for both chemistry problems(a stoichiometry problem & a limiting reactant problem). Both students were unable to correctly solve the limiting reactant problem and to demonstrate a clear understanding of the Law of Conservation of Mass. Nor did they show an ability to apply it in solving the problem. However, there was a difference in each one's ability to extend what had been learned/practiced/quizzed in class, to a related but different problem situation.

The Relationship between Posing and Solving Arithmetic Word Problems among Chinese Elementary School Children

  • Recent research has documented that there is a close relationship between problem posing and problem solving in arithmetic. However, most studies investigated the relationship between problem posing and problem solving only by means of standard problem situations. In order to overcome that shortcoming, a pilot study with Chinese fourth-graders was done to investigate this relationship using a non-standard, realistic problem situation. The results revealed a significant positive relationship between students' problem posing and solving abilities. Based on that pilot study, a more extensive and systematic ascertaining study was carried out to confirm the observed relationship between problem posing and problem solving among Chinese elementary school children. Results confirmed that there was indeed a close relationship between both skills.

2015 개정 수학 교과서에 반영된 문제 해결 역량 요소 탐색 - 중학교 1학년 함수 영역을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Problem Solving Competency Represented in the New Seventh Grade Mathematics Textbook)

  • The six core competencies included in the mathematics curriculum revised in 2015 are problem solving, reasoning, communication, attitude and practice, creativity and convergence, information processing. In particular, the problem solving is very important for students' enhancing much higher mathematical thinking. Based on this competency, this study selected the four elements of the problem solving such as problem solving process, cooperative problem solving, mathematical modeling, problem posing. And also this study selected the domain of function which is comprised of the content of the coordinate plane, the graph, proportionality in the seventh grade mathematics textbook. By the subject of the ten kinds of textbook, this study examined how the four elements of the problem solving competency were shown in each textbook.

예비수학교사 교육에서 수학적 문제제기 수업 사례 (A Case Study on Mathematical Problem Posing in Pre-service Mathematics Teacher Education)

  • 본 연구에서는 예비수학교사들의 수학적 문제제기 교육에 대한 전문성 신장을 위하여 예비수학교사 교육에 적용할 수 있는 문제제기 수업을 개발하여 적용한 후 연구에 참여한 예비수학교사들의 문제제기에 대한 인식의 변화 및 문제제기 수업 경험에 대한 의견을 살펴보았다. 본 연구에서 개발한 문제제기 수업은 문제제기 이론에 대한 교육, 문제제기 활동 체험, 문제제기 수업 지도안 작성 및 수업 수행의 3단계로 구성되었다. 설문 조사, 면담, 수업 일지 분석 결과를 종합하여 보면, 본 연구를 통해 수행된 문제제기 수업은 예비수학교사들의 문제제기 활동 및 문제제기 전략에 대한 이해도와 문제제기 교육의 효과에 대한 이해도를 향상시키는데 매우 효과적인 것으로 나타났고, 이와 더불어 예비교사들의 문제제기 활동에 대한 긍정적인 태도의 함양에도 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 문제제기 수업에서 이루어진 다양한 문제제기 활동에 대한 직접적인 체험과 문제제기 수업 수행 경험이 예비교사들의 문제제기에 대한 이해 및 교수학적 내용 지식의 함양에 핵심적인 역할을 한 것으로 나타났다.

Sociodemographic and Health Related Factors Influencing Problem Drinking of the Echo Generation Using Data of the 2018 Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey

  • The aim of this study was to identify factors influencing problem drinking among the Echo Generation in South Korea and provide basic data for early intervention and mediation of problem drinking among the Echo Generation. This descriptive study performed a secondary analysis of raw data from the 2018 Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey and used responses for problem drinking items from 999 Echo Generation participants born between 1979 and 1992. This study comprehensively investigated sociodemographic and health-related factors influencing problem drinking among the Echo Generation. SPSS WIN program (version 26.0) was used for data analysis. Gender (β=-.32, p<.001), education level (β=.10, p=.002), white-collar workers out of job (β=-.09, p=.041), and depression (β=.11, p<.001) were identified as factors that influenced problem drinking among the Echo Generation. Results of this study suggest that in order to prevent problem drinking among the Echo Generation, there should be user-customized prevention education and intervention programs.

Factors Affecting Earth Science Problem-Solving Performances of Elementary School Pre-service Teachers: A Study on the Motions of the Moon and the Planets

  • The aim of this study was to investigate the factors affecting earth science problem-solving performances of elementary school pre-service teachers. The participants of the study were 81 students attending an elementary school teacher education university. The instruments of the study were paper-and-pencil tests, questionnaires, and interviews. The tests mainly measured the participants' problem solving abilities in the motions of the moon and the planets. Correlation and multiple regression techniques were used for data analysis. The results demonstrated that the pre-service teachers' problem solving abilities were low. Problem-solving performances were affected by the procedural knowledge, the participants' perception of the past earth science performance, self-efficacy, and the prerequisite declarative knowledge. Contrary to our expectation, the spatial visualization ability was not found to be related to the problem-solving performances. Implications of the study are drawn, and suggestions are made for further research.

공업계 고등학교에서의 문제해결식 실기수업 모형 (A model of problem solving instruction for improving practical skill-competence in technical high school)

  • The purpose of this study was to development a model of problem solving instruction for improving practical skill-competence in technical high school. For the study, various literature researches were reviewed intensively about problem solving process, laboratory instruction's approaches and learning principals. The problem solving instruction process was composed with identifying problems, generating alternative solutions, investigation and research, choosing a solution, acting on a plan, modeling of problem solving, testing and evaluating, redesigning and improving. The skills schema combines a four domain of skilled activity, that is, cognitive skills, psychomotor skills, reactive skills and interactive skills. The problem solving instruction was composed with five major learning systems-emotional, social, cognitive, physical, and reflective-that can be used extensively as generic lesson plashing. The teacher serves as a coach or guide for student learning. As a facilitator, the teacher challenges, questions, and stimulates the students in their thinking, problem solving and self-directed study. In this process, students represent problem with think aloud, assume responsibility for their learning and move from teacher-centered to student-centered education.

한국 부부의 부부문제해결과정 -자아상태, 문제인지, 문제해결행동을 중심으로- (The Marital Problem Solving Process Among Korean Married Couples -Ego States Problem Perception Problem Solving Behaviors-)

  • This study regarded the marital problem solving as the process of ego states marital problem perception and marital problem solving behaviors and was to verify that the match of husband and wife in that process differed in marital adjustment, The subjects of the study were 225 married couples for 1-10 years. The results of the study were summarized as following: 1) Husband/wife's marital adjustments differed in a accordance with marital problem solving behavior matches between husband and wife. 2) Marital problems solving behaviors were the most effected by marital problem perception and were indirectly effected by ego states. Particularly marital problem solving behaviors was the more effec ted by perception of husband than of wife.

최단경로문제에서 k개의 치명호를 결정하는 유전알고리듬 (An Evolutionary Algorithm for Determining the k Most Vital Arcs in Shortest Path Problem)

  • The purpose of this study is to present a method for determining the k most vital arcs in shortest path problem using an evolutionary algorithm. The problem of finding the k most vital arcs in shortest path problem is to find a set of k arcs whose simultaneous removal from the network causes the greatest increase in the total length of shortest path. Generally, the problem determining the k most vital arcs in shortest path problem has known as NP-hard. Therefore, in order to deal with the problem of real world the heuristic algorithm is needed. In this study we propose to the method of finding the k most vital arcs in shortest path problem using an evolutionary algorithm which known as the most efficient algorithm among heuristics. The method presented in this study is developed using the library of the evolutionary algorithm framework and then the performance of algorithm is analyzed through the computer experiment.
