  • This study performs an empirical analysis of relationships between business start-up factors, product/service level, and business performance of restaurant business start-up. This study has some limitations in that it covers only the restaurants in Kangwon-Do province instead of nationwide, it considers only four start-up factors, and it measures the business performance only by the increase in net-profit and customers excluding other financial performance factors. Some in-depth case study for successful versus nonsuccessful groups considering the features of industrial types is left for further study.

  • This study examined the obstacles of important factors involved in the start-up decision process for prospective entrepreneurs and plans after graduation while attending hair and beauty colleges and analyzed them in a phenomenological way to establish countermeasures. The subjects of the study agreed to collect data from 10 prospective entrepreneur doctors and plans after graduation while attending hair and beauty college located in G, and were in-depth from December 15 to December 30, 2022. The collected data were analyzed using the Colaizzi method. The results of this study were extracted with 13 topics and two subject collections that represent the characteristics of the experience in the preliminary start-up process of the participants. Based on the results of this study, it is meaningful to examine the obstacles of the factors that are importantly involved in the start-up decision process and establish countermeasures accordingly. In conclusion, at a time when the market for start-ups is expanding and government support is increasing, the factors affecting the will of college students, who are potential professional managers in the future, and effective implications for enhancing the university's start-up infrastructure, start-up difficulties, and start-up motivation were obtained. Therefore, it is urgent to develop efficient performance counseling research or program counseling that can promote and support mental and environmental growth through career development required for the difficulties of the decision process of prospective entrepreneur hair college students and the situations they face. It is necessary to develop various measurement tools in consideration of the level of career development and development of a start-up decision-making process model that can fully grasp the status of start-ups of prospective start-ups.

  • There are many people who start business because of unstable employment due to income polarization. There are many people who start business because of unstable this study is to present the necessary situation and direction for the prospective founders who are hesitant to start their own business by lacking self - confidence and information about Preparing for start-up the purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of pre - founder's psychological characteristics and start - up preparation characteristics on entrepreneurship intention. In order to conduct this study, 144 male and 114 female who were temporary workers and about to retire were analyzed for validity and reliability using 258 questionnaires. As a result of analyzing the adjustment effect of entrepreneurship education as an interaction term in the psychological characteristics and the preparation characteristics of the entrepreneurship, the risk taking tendency and the preparation period for entrepreneurship were significant for entrepreneurship education. In addition, the greater the necessity and importance of entrepreneurship education, the greater the effect on entrepreneurship education. It is a meaningful study that can give confidence to the subjects who want to start a business but are afraid of failure. This study is expected to contribute to the government's start - up policy by analyzing the influence of pre - founders on the intention of start - up.

  • The government is trying to create jobs by providing 160 billion won in 2021 to revitalize youth start-ups, but the number of youth unemployment and potential unemployment is hitting a record high of 1.2 million due to the shock of employment due to COVID-19. Although start-ups are encouraged as an alternative to revitalizing jobs, the success rate of young start-ups is low due to lack of start-up funds and experience. The purpose of this study is to understand the need to diversify start-up education and career education by understanding start-up policies through one-time funding and short-term education. The results of the study on the factors affecting the willingness to start a business were as follows, by sampling 344 students from specialized high schools preparing for employment and 344 young people in their 20s who are seeking jobs. First, among the entrepreneurship subvariables, innovation, autonomy of job value, and desire for economic achievement are significant, and the older the person surveyed, the more positive the perception of the entrepreneur was. Second, as you get older, your will to start a business decreases, and your experience in successful start-up models and start-up education has an impact on your will to start a business. Third, perception of entrepreneurs is a partial medium effect, which indirectly influences the willingness to start a business and directly or indirectly influences the willingness to start a business through the autonomy of job values, the desire to achieve economic and entrepreneurship.

Entrepreneurship Competency-Based Education Research: EntreComp (Entrepreneurship Competence) Frame for Advancement of University Startup Education (기업가정신역량기반 교육 연구: 대학 창업교육 고도화를 위한 EntreComp(Entrepreneurship Competence) Frame 도출)

  • The government has achieved quantitative growth in university start-up education while supporting start-up education. However, it failed to systematize start-up education from an academic, policy, and practical perspective and to reveal the relationship between education and achievements in supporting start-ups. Therefore, there is a lack of interest and effort to promote effective education. In Europe, in-depth research has already been done over many years to establish an EntreComp system. Competences create values for others and attempt to apply them to education, viewing them as the people's lifelong competitiveness. On the other hand, it is urgent to improve the education system as domestic university start-up education is mainly focused on cultural level start-up skills and easy-to-access education from a business administration perspective. Based on this, the entrepreneurship competence-based start-up education system was designed. Next, eight EntreComp frames were drawn for university students through the Focus Group Interview (FGI) and Delphi survey methods, as well as domestic and international prior studies on EntreComp. In 2018, 919 start-up education programs of 42 start-up leading universities were conducted to derive the status of education by EntreComp. Prior studies of 25 entrepreneurship competences, including data from Bacigalupo et al.(2016), which studied EntreComp in the EU, were investigated and reflected the frequency of research and the importance of education and start-up perspectives. Based on the purpose of the university start-up education presented in this study, the entrepreneurship competence frame consisting of a total of eight, including spotting opportunities, value creation, self improvement, mobilising resources, technology application, strategic management, relationship, and learning through experience, was derived through expert verification. It also investigated the current status of education by competence, the degree of reflection of competence education, and the relationship with the results of support for start-ups that reflect the number of students enrolled in each university. Through this, it was suggested that future start-up education at universities could be improved from the EntreComp perspective. It has a differentiation in research in that it conducted a thorough survey using the data on start-up courses operated by leading startup universities for a certain period. However, it is difficult to generalize because the number of samples of leading startup universities is limited. Nevertheless, this study proposes the educational goal of advancing university start-up education from the perspective of entrepreneurial competence, cultivating future required competences, and fostering entrepreneurial talents that create value for others. In addition, it is meaningful in that it presents a clear direction for subsequent research by preparing a framework for research from a more essential perspective on the entrepreneurship competence frame.

Start-up Voltage Generator for 250mV Input Boost Converters (250mV 입력 부스트 컨버터를 위한 스타트업 전압 발생기)

  • This paper proposes a start-up voltage generator for reducing the minimum input supply voltage of DC-DC boost converters to 250mV. The proposed start-up voltage generator boosts 250mV input voltage to over 500mV to charge the capacitor for starting the boost converter. After the boost converter operates initially with the supply voltage charged in the capacitor, it uses its boosted output voltage for the supply voltage. Therefore, after the start-up operation, the proposed DC-DC boost converter works as the same as the conventional one. The proposed start-up voltage generator reduces the threshold voltage of the transistors by adjusting the body voltage at a low input voltage. This causes the higher clock frequency and the larger current to a Dickson charge-pump for boosting the input voltage. The proposed start-up voltage generator was implemented with a $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS process. Its clock frequency and output voltage were 34.5kHz and 522mV at 250mV input voltage, respectively.

Waste Activated Sludge for Start-up Seed of Thermophilic Anaerobic Digestion (고온 혐기성 소화공정의 start-up seed로서의 호기성 폐 활성슬러지 이용가능성 연구)

  • Since there are very limited numbers of thermophilic anaerobic digesters being operated, it is often difficult to start up a new one using sludge from an existing reactor as a seed. However, for obvious reasons it seems few attempts have been made to compare the start-up performance of thermophilic anaerobic digestion using different sources of seed sludges. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the start-up performance of anaerobic digestion using aerobic Waste Activated Sludge (WAS) from a plant and mesophilic Anaerobic Digested Sludge (ADS) as the seed source at both mesophilic ($35^{\circ}C$) and thermophilic ($55^{\circ}C$) temperatures. In this study, two experiments were conducted. First, thermophilic anaerobic reactors were seeded with WAS (VSS = 4,400 mg/L) and ADS (VSS = 14,500 mg/L) to investigate start-up performance with a feed of acetate as well as propionate. The results show that WAS started to produce $CH_4$ soon after acetate feeding without a lag time, while ADS had a lag time of 10 days. When the feed was changed to propionate, WAS removed propionate down to below the detection limit of 10 mg/L, while ADS removed little propionate and produced little $CH_4$. Second, in order to further compare the methanogenic activity of WAS and ADS, both mesophilic and thermophilic reactors were operated. WAS acclimated to anaerobic conditions shortly and after acclimating it produced more $CH_4$ than ADS. WAS at mesophilic temperature biodegraded acetate at the same rate as for thermophilic. However WAS at mesophilic temperature biodegraded propionate at a much faster rate than at thermophilic. WAS as the seed source of anaerobic digestion resulted in much better performance than ADS at both mesophilic and thermophilic temperatures for both acetate and propionate metabolism.

  • Although many studies about start-up existed, It is almost never shown study about ICT convergence start-up enterprise. This study tries to analyze success factor to start-up enterprise in rapidly growing ICT convergence area. Based on 10 entrepreneurial success cases, We figure out the total 29 units success factors utilizing ERIS model. We classify ICT commercialization with 4 types which are software-R&D centric, software marketing centric, software plus hardware R&D centric, software plus hardware marketing centric. Among success factors the most success factor is related entrepreneur;s ability and include major and professional knowledge about ICT's filed, insight through sensitivity about technical paradigm etc. It was derived the success factors indicated in the course of commercialization of ICT Covergence Unlike other forms of the existing start-up entrepreneurs and contributed to typified in four forms startups for ICT Covergence start-up entrepreneurs.

Robust Start-up Circuit for Low Supply-voltage Reference Generator (저전압 기준전압 발생기를 위한 시동회로)

  • Since most reference voltage generator circuits have bi-stable characteristics, it is important to employ a proper start-up circuit to operate a reference generator in the desired state. In this paper, we propose a start-up circuit for a low voltage reference generator. This start-up circuit determines the state of the circuit reliably by measuring the current drawn by BJTs in the circuit, which is well-defined in the desired state. To measure the current using CMOS-compatible devices only, a comparator with an internal offset voltage is used. The reliability of the proposed circuit is confirmed by Monte-Carlo simulations of the start-up operation, which show that, with the proposed start-up circuit, the low voltage reference generator starts reliably with supply voltages over 850mV even in the presence of device mismatches.

Effects of Entrepreneurship Education Based on Relative Policies Link (창업교육연계의 효과측정모형 및 정책제안)

  • This paper integrates elements from the theory of agency, the entrepreneurship education, the start-up policies. Entrepreneurship education is demanded to enhance success of business candidate for business establishment and to increase start-up survival. Three researches are made by this study. First of all, Educational performance is measured and it explains why linked policies is needed. To explain linked performance, this paper introduces several hypothesis. These are about a rate of start-up failure caused by agency problem and a rate of education effect decreasing agency problem. Secondly, operation performance of it can be increased by linking among policies and should be for the original goals of start-up policies. Finally, several ideas including start-up certification is proposed. Start-up certification has role of contact point of different entrepreneurship policies. As a result, level of satisfaction of policies will increase and specially of education program by linked effects.
