Use of Patent Anlysis for the Future Skills-needs in Information Security

  • This study attempts to develop a methodology that analyzes patent applications to identify future skills, in particular in the sector of information security, recently into the spotlight. Matching skill elements from the International Patent Classification (IPC) with skill units from job analysis, the study tries to track trends in the skills needs based on IPC time-pattern. It then verifies the validity of the outlook for future skills needs by addressing the situation through the use of patents. The research assesses the usability of patent information for this type of analysis. While this study is limited to the information security sector by using Korean patent information, it can be expanded in the future to other areas and patents in the United States and Europe.

거주시설 발달장애인을 위한 작업 기반 마트장보기 훈련 프로그램의 개발 및 효과 (Development and Effectiveness of Occupation Based Grocery Shopping Skill Training Program For The Person with Developmental Disability)

  • 목적 : 발달장애인의 마트장보기 과제의 독립적 수행을 위해 작업 기반 마트장보기 훈련 프로그램을 개발하여 시행하고 효과를 바탕으로 프로그램의 최종 프로토콜을 제안하고 그 효과를 입증하고자 한다. 연구방법 : 작업 기반 마트장보기 훈련 그룹프로그램을 개발한 프로그램에 대해 전문가 내용타당도 평가를 실시한 후 프로토콜을 작성하였다. 이후 발달 장애인 3명에게 소규모 그룹프로그램의 프로토콜을 총 6회기에 걸쳐 적용하였다. 프로그램의 효과는 훈련 전 후 및 5개월 후 3차례에 걸쳐 The Test of Grocery Shopping Skills (TOGSS)를 통해 평가하였다. 연구결과 : 본 연구에서 개발된 작업 기반 마트장보기 훈련 그룹프로그램을 적용한 결과 3명의 대상자 모두 구매하고자 하는 물건의 항목비교 및 크기비교 수행기술에서 향상을 보였으며, 마트에서 장보는 시간이 훈련 전에 비해 감소되는 효과를 보였다. 또한 3명 중 2명의 대상자는 마트 내에서 물건위치 찾기 수행도가 향상되었다. 반면 가격비교는 3명 모두 수행도의 향상을 보이지 않았다. 5개월 후 추적평가 시 대상자 2명은 마트장보기 수행기술이 유지되거나 향상된 모습을 보였고, 1명은 훈련효과가 퇴행하여 독립적으로 마트장보기가 불가능하였다. 결론 : 본 연구에서 개발한 작업 기반 마트장보기 훈련 그룹프로그램은 발달장애인들의 마트장보기 수행 기술 향상에 도움이 된다. 이와 같이 마트장보기 훈련 프로그램은 지적장애인 거주시설에서 활용할 수 있을 것이고, 전문가 내용 타당도 평가를 거쳐 구체적인 프로토콜로 프로그램을 개발하였다는 것이 지역사회 작업치료서비스 분야에 필요한 임상적 의의를 지닌다.

과학화 훈련체계의 타당성 분석 (Analysis on Scientific Training System)

  • The army is carrying out a project of a scientific training system which enables company level mutual training in infantry division to enhance battle command capability and combat skill. In this paper, we tried to prove the necessities of a scientific training system based on previously conducted training results. We drew comparison among proposed alternatives. To obtain the results we used hierarchical analysis methodology And cost and training effectiveness analysis were conducted.

산학연계(기업.공고) 맞춤형 인력양성 프로그램 수료근로자의 취업 후 초기 2년간 습숙경험 (Skill-up experiences of ex-participants of the customized training program in Technical High Schools for Small and Medium Business during first 2 years in Company)

  • 이 연구는 산학(기업 공고) 연계 맞춤형 인력양성 프로그램(이하 '맞춤과정')을 수료하고 입직하여 2년 정도 근무한 수료근로자 3명을 인터뷰하여 그들의 취업 후 습숙경험을 분석한 것이다. 연구자는 2008년 선행된 경력설계 연구를 기반으로 초기습숙의 과정을 의존적 근로자에서 독립적 근로자로 이행하는 단계로 보고, 맞춤과정 수료근로자가 현장에 배치된 이후 약 2년간 어떤 습숙경험을 하는지에 초점을 두고 면담하고, 그 내용을 분석하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기업이 신입자의 습숙을 돕기 위해 실시하는 안내 및 교육으로서는 회사의 역사 및 현황, 근무수칙, 안전 등을 담은 신입사원 교육, 여러 작업 실무현장의 '맛 보이기', 사수-조수관계 맺어주기, 매뉴얼 및 직무기준 제시 등이었다. 이는 '통과의례' 같은 것으로서 습숙의 기본적인 디딤돌이 된다. 둘째, 습숙을 이끌어가는 상호작용과 자기성찰로서 구조화되어 있는 질책, 구성원간 유대, 경험의 누적과 성찰을 통한 깊은 학습 등이 있었다. 공식적 조치에 의해 안면을 익힌 신입자는 선임자의 질책을 받으며 상당기간(1-2년) 험난한 인고의 과정을 거쳐 질책을 받지 않고 스스로 일을 할 수 있는 수준에 이른다. 수직적 위계질서보다 수평적 유대가 강조되는 조직에서는 쉽게 경험을 공유한다. 그리고 제보자는 자신의 경험을 돌아보아 적응하기, 조직에서 살아남기, 발견한 기술을 함께 공유하고 성장하기와 같은 것을 학습하였다. 셋째, 습숙에 장애가 되는 환경 여건으로는 신입자의 습숙에 대한 숙련자의 경계, 장시간 근로와 여유시간의 결핍, 저임금 등이 있었다. 일반적으로 숙련자들은 신입자에게 경계의식을 갖고 자신이 가지고 있는 암묵지를 노출시키려고 하지 않는다. 그러나 수평적 유대가 강조되는 조직에서는 서로 쉽게 기술을 공유한다. 단순 기술과 저임금의 기업특수기술도 습숙동기를 유발하지 못한다. 연구결과는 맞춤과정 개발시 협약기업이 제시하는 직무뿐 아니라 그 직무수행자들을 위한 습숙지원제도 및 과정 등에 대해서도 분석하여 반영해야 함을 시사한다.

간호·간병통합서비스 병동 신규간호사 대상 핵심기본간호술기향상 교육프로그램 개발 및 적용 (The Development and Application of Core Fundamental Nursing Skills Improvement Education Program for New Nurses in Comprehensive Nursing Care Ward)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the development and application of the new nurses' core skill program on the clinical skill, confidence, knowledge and performance of new nurses. Methods: This study was a nonequivalent control group post-test design on 46 new nurses with 3 to 6 months work experience in a general hospital. Data were collected from August 2015 to August 2016. A training program of core fundamental nursing skills was applied on 23 new nurses from 2016 in the experiment group, and an existing training method was applied on 23 new nurses from 2015 in the comparison group. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 23.0. Results: The experimental group ($89{\pm}4.29$) showed higher score in practical skill assessment compared to the control group ($85.09{\pm}3.99$) and showed a statistically significant difference (p<001). Conclusion: A training program of core fundamental nursing skills for new nurses proved effective in improving practical skills. Further research on the development of a systemic training program that can improve clinical nursing knowledge and work ability for new nurses according to the extended enforcement of a Nursing Care Integrated Service ward is needed.

The Rat Model in Microsurgery Education: Classical Exercises and New Horizons

  • Microsurgery is a precise surgical skill that requires an extensive training period and the supervision of expert instructors. The classical training schemes in microsurgery have started with multiday experimental courses on the rat model. These courses have offered a low threat supervised high fidelity laboratory setting in which students can steadily and rapidly progress. This simulated environment allows students to make and recognise mistakes in microsurgery techniques and thus shifts any related risks of the early training period from the operating room to the lab. To achieve a high level of skill acquisition before beginning clinical practice, students are trained on a comprehensive set of exercises the rat model can uniquely provide, with progressive complexity as competency improves. This paper presents the utility of the classical rat model in three of the earliest microsurgery training centres and the new prospects that this versatile and expansive training model offers.

표준화환자와의 의사소통기술 훈련이나 선택과목 '의사소통기술' 이수가 임상수행평가 성적에 영향을 미쳤는가? (Does Practicing Communication Skills with Standardized Patients or Completion of Elective Course of Communication Skills Affect the Scores of Clinical Performance Examination?)

  • Purpose: Communication skills are considered as one of the essential requirements in medical education, and the training often involves exercising medical interviews with standardized patients(SP) or role play. This study investigated the helpfulness of the communication skills training programs for students' performance on the clinical performance examination (CPX). Methods: Fourth-year students who have taken one of two communication skills programs(exercising communication skills with SP or elective communication skill course with role play) completed a questionnaire on their evaluation of the helpfulness of communication skills programs immediately after finishing the CPX. Then, the programs were objectively assessed by comparing all fourth-year students' CPX scores between program participants and non-participants. Results: About 70% of participants answered that the programs were helpful to perform clinical clerkship and CPX. However, there was no difference in either the total CPX score or 2 categorical scores(integrated clinical encounter, communication and interpersonal skill) between program participants and non-participants. Conclusion: Although the students felt that the communication skills programs were helpful to their clinical activities, this study failed to find objective evidence of any effect of the programs on the CPX results. Communication skills training should be continued during clinical clerkship to maintain or enhance the skills, and it is necessary to introduce more effective methods for precise evaluation of students' communication skills.

요양시설 요양보호사를 위한 치매노인의 식사행동장애 대처기술훈련 프로그램 개발 및 효과 (Development and Effects of a Coping Skill Training Program for Caregivers in Feeding Difficulty of Older Adults with Dementia in Long-Term Care Facilities)

  • Purpose: We developed and tested the effects of a coping skill training program for caregivers in feeding difficulty among older adults with dementia in long-term care facilities. Methods: A non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used. The subjects comprised 34 caregivers (experimental group: 17, control group: 17) and 40 older adults with dementia (experimental group: 20, control group: 20). The developed program was delivered in 4-hour sessions over 6 weeks (including 2 weeks of lectures and lab practice on feeding difficulty coping skills, and 4 weeks of field practice). Data were collected before, immediately after, and 4 weeks after the program (January 3 to April 6, 2016). The data were analyzed using t-test and repeated measures ANOVA using SPSS/WIN 20.0. Results: Compared to their counterparts in the control group, caregivers in the experimental group showed a significantly greater improvement in feeding knowledge and feeding behavior, while older adults with dementia showed greater improvements in feeding difficulty and Body Mass Index. Conclusion: The study findings indicate that this coping skill training program for caregivers in feeding difficulty is an effective intervention for older adults with dementia in long-term care facilities.

한·일 외국인선원 고용제도 비교 연구 (An Comparative Study on the Foreign Worker's Employment System of Fishing Vessels in Korea and Japan)

  • The aim of this study is to reduce the foreign fishermen's rate of deserting from coastal and offshore fishing vessel in Korea and to suggest the future direction of foreign fishermen's employment policy. There are several employment systems for foreign fishermen who work on a coastal and offshore fishing vessels in Korea and Japan. Foreign fishermen's employment systems can be divided by the following forms : 1) Employment permit system for foreigners in Korea 2) Foreign seamen system in Korea 3) Skill training system for foreigners in Japan Foreign fishermen's rate of deserting from Korean fishing vessel is very high compared to that of Japan. The recent rate is 29.6% in employment permit system, and 21.5% in foreign seamen system in Korea. However, 2.2% in skill training system for foreigners in Japan. In this paper, the author investigated and compared the employment status of foreign seamen's in 2 country's fishing vessels and suggest to reduce the rate of deserting from workplace in Korean fishing vessels.

양생기공과 심리기술훈련의 구성요인과 측정평가방법의 비교 연구 (Comparative Study on the Configuration Factors and Measurement Method of Yangsaeng Gigong and Psychological Skills Training)

  • If we can evaluate the training results more appropriately and analyze the psychological changes in more objectively, the training can be more efficient and it can help to solve the problems during the training. This research analyzed the similarity and differences of Yangseng Qigong and psychological skill training's components and measurement methods. Also, the research further studied psychological skill training's measurement method. Results : The measurement type of Yangseng Qigong are Sagong, a record of Sagong, Damgong, IIgi, and Sogyeol. Similarly, the measurement type of psychological skills training are questionnaire, interview, personal profile, and observation of a single subject. Despite the similarities between the measurement type of Yangsaeng Qigong and psychological skills training, unfortunately there are differences in the contents. Thus, If we introduce strengths of each method to the other, we may have better measurement methods. The questionnaire method of psychological skills training is the most commonly used method, because it gives concrete, objective, reliable and highly reproducible results. If we refer to the questionnaire development process in psychological skills training, we can have objective and concrete measurement tool for Yangsaeng Qigong training. In the psychological skills training measurement tool development process, there are 5 stages; test conception, test preparation, test execution, question analysis, and test modification. Furthermore, the requirements for the good survey are reliability, validity, practicality, and cultural appropriateness. Through this study, we reached the conclusion that we need to combine two methods together to develop a better method because Yangsaeng Qigong places importance on comprehensive method and realization while psychological skills training places importance on analytical method and objective evaluation. And It seems that a practical study is needed to resolve the concerete problems of Yansaeng Qigong through these concrete cases.
