MICE 산업의 SNS 이용의도에 미치는 영향: 성별차이를 중심으로 (The Influence of Usage Intentions of Social Network Services in MICE Industry: Focused on the Gender Differences)

  • 본 연구는 MICE 산업(회의, 포상여행, 컨벤션, 전시 및 이벤트)에서 소셜네트워크서비스(SNS)의 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인과 성별차이를 분석하는 것이 목적이다. 본 연구에서는 MICE 산업, SNS 특성 그리고 기술수용모형(TAM)의 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 연구모형과 가설을 설정하였다. 본 연구에서는 MICE 참여경험을 가지고 있는 SNS 사용자를 대상으로 설문조사를 하였다. 가설검증 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정보제공성, 편리성, 서비스 품질, SNS 이용경험은 SNS 이용태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, SNS 이용태도는 SNS 이용의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 정보제공성과 서비스 품질은 남성이 여성보다 SNS 이용태도에 미치는 영향력이 더 크게 나타났고, 편리성과 SNS 이용경험은 여성이 남성보다 SNS 이용태도에 미치는 영향력이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 SNS 이용태도는 남성이 여성보다 SNS 이용의도에 더 큰 영향력이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 MICE 산업에서 SNS 이용의도와 관련된 다양한 시사점을 제공할 것이다.

A Study on the Required Features of Social Network Service

  • The study is to investigate which features are perceived by Social Network Service(SNS) users as the most required one to further boost the usage of service, and to examine the perception of these features of SNS sites varies according to their demographic and service usage characteristics. The study also is to suggest a few of research propositions on the relationships between required features of SNS sites and characteristics of SNS users, based on statistical analyses. To accomplish these research purposes, the study defined characteristics of SNS users including demographic(gender, age) and service usage one(start time of service usage, service usage place), and required features of SNS sites(system, service, information, emotion) based on the literature review of SNS. The results show, based on the statistical analyses using survey questionnaire on Korean and Chinese SNS users, that there are differences in perception of required features of SNS sites among the respondents grouped by age, start time of service usage, service usage place. Finally, the study proposed three research propositions, based on the analysis result, that could be used in SNS related researches in the future.

행정기관 SNS 이용의 결정요인 (The Determinants of the Usage of Government Institutions' SNS)

  • Purpose: This study was tried to investigate a structural relationship among key impacting factors and usage in SNS of government institutions. It was designed to research the processing property of SNS, the emotional property of SNS, and the service property of SNS for the SNS usage. Based on the research framework from the relationships among intrinsic SNS characteristics, social psychological characteristics, and the attitude of government institutions' SNS, the empirical research model and the hypotheses were established. Design/methodology/approach: Data for empirical study were collected from 453 of total distributed 500 by the structured questionnaire survey with SNS users of government institutions. The analysis was performed from effective 432 data, and the sample was mainly consisted of men, the thirty-old, and salesmen. Findings: The results showed that the emotional and service properties in intrinsic characteristics of SNS have a significantly positive effect to the value perception and the security variable in social psychological characteristics has a significant positive effects to the trust. Finally, the value perception has positive effects on both trust and use intention of government institutions' SNS. Meaning of these results is that intrinsic SNS characteristics, social psychological characteristics, and the attitude of government institutions' SNS have a significant effect on SNS usage.

모바일 폐쇄형 SNS의 지속적 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인: 심층인터뷰와 실증분석 (Factors Affecting Continuous Usage Intention of Mobile Closed Social Network Services: In-depth Interviews and An Empirical Investigation)

  • Purpose Social Network Service (SNS) users feel fatigue in process of using open type of SNS like Facebook and Twitter. Compared to the open SNS, the closed SNS takes an closed form to prevent privacy exposure, and they are more practical and advantageous to form deeper social relationships. This study attempt to examine the effects of the mobile closed SNS characteristics (such as usefulness, playfulness, perceived security, psychological privacy, social influence, and belonging) on the users' continuous SNS usage intention. Design/methodology/approach This study used a mixed methodology combining in-depth interviews and empirical validation to investigate the effects of the mobile closed SNS characteristics on the continuous SNS usage intention of users. Findings Analytical results from a survey of 210 mobile closed SNS users showed that except perceived security, the effects of the five SNS characteristics on continuous SNS usage intention were significant. These findings contribute to improving the quality of mobile closed SNS services and suggesting SNS related marketing strategies.

  • Spread of internet service had a huge effect on usage and spread of SNS world widely. Variety of the service has increased from human network managing to commerce, education, payment method and so on. Also, it is expanding its service territory to not only PC area but also that of mobile equipment with development of information technology. Spread of use on SNS provides existing corporations the expansion of service area. Late SNS starter companies are advancing in diverse way for attracting users by serving shopping, games and other services with association with SNS. Therefore, analysis on consumers' thought and pattern which analyze users' demand, service's function and contents and other factors in order to reflect on plans and operations of SNS is needed. On this perspective, this research is suggesting properties that are crucially related to sustained usage of SNS and study factors of SNS's characteristics that influence trust and satisfaction on SNS and continuous usage intent of SNS.

과업-기술 적합성이 SNS 이용의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 사회적 기업을 중심으로 (The Influence of Task-Technology Fit on Usage Intention of SNS: Focused on Social Enterprise)

  • 본 연구는 사회적 기업의 과업-기술 적합성(TTF)이 소셜네트워크서비스(SNS) 이용의도에 미치는 영향에 대해 검증하는 것이 목적이다. 사회적 기업, 소셜네트워크서비스, 과업-기술 적합성, 기술수용모형(TAM)에 관한 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 연구모형과 연구가설을 설정하였다. 본 연구에서는 인증 사회적 기업 86개를 대상으로 Smart PLS 2.0을 이용하여 구조방정식 모형을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 과업-기술 적합성이 지각된 유용성, 지각된 이용용이성, SNS 이용의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 지각된 유용성은 SNS 이용의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만, 지각된 이용용이성은 SNS 이용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 과업-기술 적합성 측면에서 SNS가 사회적 기업의 업무에 적합한지에 대해 분석하여 다른 정보기술 분야의 이용의도에 적용할 수 있는 이론적 시사점과 사회적 기업에게 실무적인 시사점을 제공할 것이다.

  • 본 연구에서는 관광 SNS를 이용하여 관광활동을 하는 관광객의 사회적 지원과 자기표현이 관광경험 그리고 관광 SNS 이용의도에 미치는 영향을 분석함과 동시에 관광객의 사회적 지원 및 자기표현과 관광경험간의 영향관계에서 관광 SNS에 대한 관광객의 이용목적 수준의 조절효과를 파악하였다. 연구결과로서 사회적 지원과 자기표현은 관광경험에 긍정적인 영향을 주며, 관광경험은 관광 SNS 이용의도에 각각 긍정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 관광 SNS 이용목적은 자기표현과 관광경험간의 관계에서 조절효과가 있는 반면, 사회적 지원과 관광경험간의 관계에서는 조절효과가 유의미하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 시사점으로서 관광객의 SNS 이용의도를 증진시키기 위해서는 이 분야에 대한 보다 적극적인 연구 및 마케팅이 요구됨을 시사하고 있다.

SNS 품질 및 이용 목적 관점에서의 SNS 이용 중단 의도 (Effects of SNS Quality and Purpose on SNS Discontinuance Intention)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to propose useful suggestions by analyzing the impact of SNS quality and the pressure which comes from SNS usage objectives on SNS discontinuance intention. Methods: We developed a SNS user's discontinuance intention model in terms of SNS quality and pressure of SNS usage. Survey data of SNS users was analyzed using multi-regression analysis for testing hypotheses. Results: We found that information quality plays an important role in lowering the SNS discontinuance intention. In addition, it was founded that pressure of social networking and information processing are positively related with the SNS discontinuance intention. Conclusion: We expect that this research can provide theoretical and practical implications. As for theoretical, this study can suggest the insight on conceptualization of SNS fatigue in the further study. Regarding practical implication, service providers can make their service strategies based on understanding our analysis.

대학생들의 SNS 이용동기, 대인관계지향성이 MSNS(Mobile Social Network Service) 중독경향성에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the influence of College Student's Usage Motivation of SNS and Interpersonal relationship orientation on MSNS(Mobile Social Network Service) addiction Proneness Addition tendencies)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate influences of usage motivation of SNS and interpersonal relationship orientation on Mobile Social Network Service(MSNS) addition proneness. For this purpose, questionnaires including MSNS addition Proneness scale, usage motivation of SNS scale and interpersonal relationship orientation scale were administered to 250 college students in Seoul. Regression analysis revealed that usage motivation of SNS showed influences of interpersonal relationship orientation. The Usage motivation of SNS showed influences of MSNS addiction proneness, interpersonal relationship orientation showed partial influence MSNS addiction proneness. The result of this study implicated that level of MSNS addiction tendencies needs to be considered for counseling with used of SNS motives. This study findings would contribute in development of preventive interventions for SNS addiction and improvement program for interpersonal competence in college students. Futhermore, exploration of various ways to satisfy motivation of interpersonal relation would be helpful to reduce SNS addiction tendencies. Finally, based on the result, implications of finding, limitation and suggestions for future research were discussed.

소셜 네트워크 서비스 사용자의 디지털 아이템 구매와 실제 사용에 관한 연구: 종단적 관점에서 (Exploring Purchase Behavior of Digital Items and Actual Usage in a Social Network Site: A Longitudinal Perspective)

  • Given the rapid growth of social network services (SNS) such as Facebook and Cyworld, it is important to understand SNS users' decision-making processes such as purchasing and continuance intention. Especially, as a number of SNS providers such as Cyworld and Habbo Hotel recognize the sales of digital items as the main source of their profits, it is critical to in-depth understand SNS users' purchasing behaviors. In this regard, this study explores continued usage behaviors and purchase behaviors of digital items in an SNS environment using a longitudinal research method. This paper develops a theoretical model to deeply understand the key drivers of purchase behavior of digital items through constructs prescribed by two established research streams on information systems, namely continuance usage and habitual usage. Moreover, this study examines the effects of actual and ideal self-image congruity on SNS continuance intention and habit. The research model was tested by using survey data collected from 307 users who have experience with Cyworld. The analysis results show that SNS actual usage directly influence purchase behavior of digital items. SNS users' continuance intention and habit are key drivers to enhance the level of actual usage of the SNS. Both actual and ideal self-image congruity play a key role in enhancing continuance usage and habitual usage. The implication of research and discussions provides reference for SNS providers in marketing and IT strategy.
