Deadline Constrained Adaptive Multilevel Scheduling System in Cloud Environment

  • In cloud, everything can be provided as a service wherein a large number of users submit their jobs and wait for their services. hus, scheduling plays major role for providing the resources efficiently to the submitted jobs. The brainwave of the proposed ork is to improve user satisfaction, to balance the load efficiently and to bolster the resource utilization. Hence, this paper roposes an Adaptive Multilevel Scheduling System (AMSS) which will process the jobs in a multileveled fashion. The first level ontains Preprocessing Jobs with Multi-Criteria (PJMC) which will preprocess the jobs to elevate the user satisfaction and to itigate the jobs violation. In the second level, a Deadline Based Dynamic Priority Scheduler (DBDPS) is proposed which will ynamically prioritize the jobs for evading starvation. At the third level, Contest Mapping Jobs with Virtual Machine (CMJVM) is roposed that will map the job to suitable Virtual Machine (VM). In the last level, VM Scheduler is introduced in the two-tier VM rchitecture that will efficiently schedule the jobs and increase the resource utilization. These contributions will mitigate job iolations, avoid starvation, increase throughput and maximize resource utilization. Experimental results show that the performance f AMSS is better than other algorithms.

아파트의 미래 지향적 욕실 디자인 방향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Bathroom Design for the Future in Apartment Unit)

  • The residents solve a physiological and hygienic craving in the bathroom. Bathroom is a common space in residence. Recently the role of the bathroom with interest augmentation of the wellbeing of the consumers is coming to be important space in residence. The purpose of this research is to investigate the bathroom satisfaction and priority of the apartment resident and to present the bathroom design for the future in apartment. The subjects of this study were residents who live in brand apartments located in Seoul. The results of this study are as following, First, basically the solution of safety problem is necessary in the bathroom. Second, the daylight is necessary in the bathroom and the resident must be possible to see an external view from the bathroom. Third, the space planning for a function convenience is necessary to a bathroom space. The rest support which leads the introduction of health wellbeing and natural friendship element is necessary to the bathroom design for the future. The bathroom design for the future must be safety, must be a bathroom of the high-class finishing material.

아버지와 자녀의 가족식사 빈도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Determinants of Family Mealtime Frequency for Fathers with their Children)

  • This study recognizes the changes of the father's role and the importance of family mealtimes as well as examines the individual, family and social contexts surrounding the father's family mealtime. This study analyzed the trend of the father's family mealtime frequency and factors affecting them in order to explore the current conditions of their father's work and family balance through family mealtimes. Data from 492 fathers who have school aged children were collected through an online survey. The overall trend of the frequency of father's family meals showed an average of 2.4 breakfasts and an average of 3.2 dinners per week. The frequency of the father's family meals showed statistically significant differences according to the father's age, children's school age, dual income, weekly working hours, working flexibility, leaving on-time and the priority of work and family. The analysis of hierarchical linear regressions was conducted to determine factors affecting the frequency of father's family mealtime to show that the frequency of father's family mealtime was best explained by father's working conditions and perception variables. Working conditions such as working hours, leaving work on time, working flexibility were significant variables in regards to the father's family mealtime frequency. The father's perception towards parental efficacy, wife's support, and work-family priority were significant factors in regards to the father's family mealtime frequency. This study is meaningful in that it provides basic data on policy making for the compatibility of the father's work and family.

주거공간에서의 통합적 실내평가를 위한 공간별 가중치 산정 프로세스에 관한 연구 - 미국 중서부 주거건물의 설문조사를 바탕으로 - (A Study on the Weighting Factor for Integrative Space Evaluation in Residential Buildings - Based on Occupant Survey in Residential Buildings of USA -)

  • Today, residential building is considered of be one of the most important space of their quality of life and health. Residential buildings should provide comfortable environments to support the activities of their occupants. And good residential buildings are made by appropriately combining residential spaces, such as living room, master bedroom, bedroom, kitchen, restroom, and so on. These combinations in residential building are must be compatible with the activities of the occupants and their needs. The objective of this research is to investigate and analyze the relative importance and space priority between residential space in residential buildings depending on occupants' characteristics, such as, gender and age. Especially, this research is to find space weighting factors for integrative evaluation in residential buildings based on occupant survey. These weighting factors play an important role in determining the relative importance of various residential spaces for integrative residential space evaluation. And, the result from this research will help designers and researchers to find space planning strategies in residential building, and develop new integrative evaluation framework for improving residential quality from the occupants' point of view.

계층분석과정(AHP)을 활용한 권역단위 종합정비사업 사무장 의식의 상대적 중요도 평가 (A Relative Importance Evaluation for the Perception of Managers on the Comprehensive Rural Village Development Project using Analytic Hierarchy Process)

  • In this study, the relative importance for the perception of managers on the comprehensive rural village development projects was evaluated using the AHP method. The fields for evaluation were 4 fields including human relationships, working conditions, work compensation and work burnout. Also, the relative importance for the perception of managers and priority order were analyzed through 15 evaluation items. The analysis result shows that the human relationships among 4 fields were regarded as the most important field, followed by work compensation, working conditions and work burnout. Also, the relationship with the chairperson for the human relationships, continuity of employment for the working conditions, salary for work compensation, and mental stress for work burnout were considered respectively as the most important item. Also, salary among all evaluation items was considered as the most important item for the relative importance, followed by continuity of employment, relationship with village residents and mental stress. However, work load, consulting firms, impersonal treatment and the relations between the administration showed relatively low importance and priority order. It is considered that this analysis result will be used as important preliminary data for establishing the role of manager in the comprehensive rural village development project.

작업환경 소음 개선을 위한 작업자 관점의 우선순위 파악에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Priority Ranks to Improve Work Environments in the Worker's Point of View)

  • This study was aimed at rating the existing work environment noise components and alternatives in point of worker's view. To answer the purpose, AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) method is adopted in this research. Based on the AHP method, this research abstracts a mathematically rigorous noise components and alternative's weights and proven process for priority and decision-making. By reconstructing complex hearing conservation programs to a series of pair-wise comparisons, and then synthesizing the results, this study not only helps establishments of noise countermeasure, but also provides a clear rationale for noise alternatives. The result of this study is summarized as follows; 1) Job satisfaction index and noise identification index are 63, 56 respectively. 2) Noise level(15.7%), frequency(14.1%) and directivity(13.6%) are main reasons in worker's ground. 3) There are some difference between the estimation of worker's identification and that of work sites. 4) Low noise machine(14.7%), enclosure(13.2%) and shielding(9.6%) are chosen for noise protection method by workers. 5) Noise environment improvement should be focused on noise source rather than personal protection. 6) By the AHP method, noise source countermeasure have a key role at work environments.

다양한 조건에 따른 TDMA와 로터리 버스 중재방식의 성능비교 (Performance Comparison of TDMA and Lottery Bus Arbitration Policy Due to Various Conditions)

  • 일반적인 버스 시스템 구조는 공용버스 내에 여러 개의 마스터와 슬레이브, 아비터 그리고 디코더 등으로 구성되어 있다. 복수의 마스터가 동시간대에 버스를 이용할 수 없으므로, 아비터는 이를 중재하는 역할을 수행한다. 아비터가 어떠한 중재방식을 선택하는가에 따라 버스 사용의 효율성이 결정된다. 기존의 중재 방식에는 Fixed Priority방식, Round-Robin 방식, TDMA 방식, 로터리 방식 등이 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 최근에 개발된 TDMA 방식과 로터리 방식에 대하여 성능을 비교해 보고, 성능개선을 위한 방법을 제안하려고 한다.

컴포넌트 처리시간을 고려한 우산순위기반의 커넥터 상호작용 (A Priority Process Based Connector's Interaction considering Component Processing Time)

  • 컴포넌트 기반 개발방법에서 컴포넌트간의 상호작용을 수행하는 커넥터의 역할은 매우 중요하다. ADL을 기반으로 한 대부분의 커넥터 운용방식은 컴포넌트의 요구순서에 따른 FIFO방식을 택하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 방식은 다양한 특성을 가지는 많은 컴포넌트의 요구발생시 효율적인 운용이 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 컴포넌트의 처리시간을 고려한 우선순위 커넥터를 설계 및 구현하였다. 또한, 정형화된 명세를 위하여 Wright 아키텍처를 이용하였다. 제안된 커넥터의 적용결과는 기존의 FIFO 방식과 비교하여 전체 처리시간에서 388ms 더 소요되었다. 그러나 처리시간이 짧은 컴포넌트들부터 우선적으로 처리할 수 있었다. 또한, 커넥터에서 컴포넌트 처리대기시간은 기존의 FIFO 방식이 23323.1ms이며, 제안기법은 12731,27ms으로 나타남으로서 컴포넌트 처리 대기시간을 감소시킬 수 있었다.

WSN에서 하이브리드 MAC을 위한 우선순위기반 타임 슬롯 할당 프로토콜 (A Priority-based Time Slot Allocation Protocol for Hybrid MAC in WSNs)

  • WSN내의 노드들은 한정된 에너지를 지녔다. 따라서 각 노드들의 채널에 대한 접근을 효율적으로 제어하는 것이 채널 활용성과 에너지 소모에 중요한 역할을 수행한다. 본 논문에서는 WSN에서 각 노드에서의 에너지 효율성을 높이기 위해 하이브리드 TDMA/CSMA MAC을 위한 우선순위 기반 타임 슬롯 할당 프로토콜을 제안한다. 제안된 프로토콜은 TDMA와 CSMA 기법의 장점을 활용함과 동시에 (m,k)-firm 기법을 이용하여 채널 접근의 우선권을 제공하였다. 성능 평가를 위해 다양한 노드 수의 변화에 따른 시뮬레이션을 수행하였고, S-MAC과 비교하여 평균 지연시간과 패킷 전송률에서 많은 향상을 보여주었다.

점유율을 고려한 버스 중재방식의 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of Bandwidth-Awared Bus Arbitration Method)
