In this study, we measured the relative density and the compressive strength in order to select the appropriate W/ B for the ultra-high strength concrete development. If W/B is lowered than the W/B of highest relative density, it was confirmed that the strength is lowered. However, if water is increased than the W/B of highest relative density, the relative density is decreased compressive strength was similar. The selection of the W/B of the lower than the highest relative density is not appropriate. Appropriate W/B is selected to be more than the maximum relative density of W/B.

The evaluation of the quality of residential environment, in the planning process, is very important. If the environmental quality can be measured on the design scheme itself, it would be possible not only to estimate the residential environment, but also to apply the results of measuring in the planning and design of new residential projects. This study aimed at estimating the relative weights of the constituents of a residential environment by AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process). For the detailed analysis of relative weights, the respondent of survey were composed of two different groups-dwellers and experts. The findings are as follows (:) 1) the relative weights of residential constituents were different between the respondent groups; 2) the relative weights of residential constituents were different according to socio-demographic characteristics; and 3) for the practical application of estimation results of the relative weights, the relation between residential performance constituents and physical design elements should be considered.

In this paper, we summarize some relative risk estimators under the two sample model with proportional hazard and examine the relative efficiencies of the nonparametric estimators relative to the maximum likelihood estimator of a parametric survival function under random censoring model by comparing their asymptotic variances.

This study describes the focus in nine structure types of English relative clauses (SS, SO, SP, PS, PO, PP, OS, OO, OP), classified according to the grammatical role of both the head that the relative clause modifies and the gap within the relative clause. The informants for this study are 2 middle school students, 4 high school students in four formal classroom in Korea and 2 native speakers. To obtain the accurate intonation patterns, Visi-Pitch II Model 3300 was used for data analyses. Major findings are as follows: (1) The feature of the intonation in English relative clauses showed prosodic prominence at the head, but the English learners in Korea didn't show prosodic prominence; (2) the fact that all heads have prosodic prominence says that the head in relative clauses has prosodic focus; (3) in the fact that the English learners have flat pitch in the whole sentences, the problem of intonation education is found out.

This paper describes a localization algorithm utilizing relative observations for multiple autonomous underwater vehicles (Multiple-AUVs). In order to maximize the efficiency of operation and mission accomplishment and to prevent problems such as collision and interference, the locations and directions of Multiple-AUVs must be precisely estimated. To estimate the locations and directions, we designed a localization algorithm utilizing relative observations and verified it with simulations based on sensor data sets acquired through real sea experiments. Also, an optimal combination of relative observation information for efficient localization is figured out through combining various relative observations. The proposed method shows improved localization results compared to those only using the navigation algorithm. The performance of localization is improved up to 58% depending on the combination of relative observations.

The t-wise intersection is a useful property of a linear code due to its many applications. Recently, the second author determined the t-wise intersection of a relative two-weight code. By using this result and generalizing the finite projective geometry method, we will present the t-wise intersection of a relative three-weight code and its applications in this paper.

The relative Nielsen number N(f;X,A) was introduced in 1986. It gives us a better, and ideally sharp, lower bound for the minimum number MF[f;X,A] of fixed points in the homotopy class of the map $f;(X,A) \to (X,A)$. Similarly, we also can think about the Nielsen map $f:(X,A) \to (X,A)$. Similarly, we also can be think about the Nielsen root theory. In this paper, we introduce a relative root Nielsen number N(f;X,A,c) of $f:(X,A) \to (Y,B)$ and show some basic properties.

In this paper, we provide two different descriptions for a relative derived category with respect to a subcategory ${\mathcal{X}}$ of an abelian category ${\mathcal{A}}$. First, we construct an exact model structure on certain exact category which has as its homotopy category the relative derived category of ${\mathcal{A}}$. We also show that a relative derived category is equivalent to homotopy category of certain complexes. Moreover, we investigate the existence of certain recollements in such categories.
