아웃소싱 성과를 위한 IT 서비스 관리에서 IT 거버넌스 커미트먼트의 중요성에 대한 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Importance of IT Governance Commitment in IT Service Management for Outsourcing Performance)

  • IT outsourcing studies have centered on the separate effect of formal contract and relational trust on IT outsourcing performance. In addition, previous studies ignored the importance of the relational capability that combine the formal contract and partnership can be able to deliver IT outsourcing effects. In this paper, we propose an IT governance commitment as a mediated role between relational capability and IT outsourcing performance. We collected data from 143 client companies of IT outsourcing and analyzed it using the PLS method. Our findings are revealed as following: At first, relational capability significantly and directly influence IT governance commitment as well as indirectly through formal contract and partnership. Secondly, IT governance commitment mediate between relational capability and IT outsourcing effect, and in turn affect IT outsourcing performance. The results and implications are further discussed.

복리후생제도 시행수준과 관계적계약과의 관계에서 상사지원 및 조직지원의 이중매개 효과 (The Influence of Fringe Benefits on Relational Contract through Superior's Support and Organizational Support)

  • 본 연구는 사회복지사가 조직에 대해 갖는 관계적계약과 관련하여 이에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인들의 인과 관계를 검증하고자 하였다. 사회복지사의 관계적계약 인식에 영향을 미치는 요인으로서 조직의 복리후생제도 시행수준이 사회복지사가 인식하는 상사지원과 조직지원에 영향을 미침은 물론, 이것이 상사지원과 조직지원을 매개하여 관계적계약과의 관계에까지 영향을 미칠 것으로 보고 연구모형을 설정하였다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 광주광역시에서 근무하는 사회복지사를 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하여 371명의 자료를 수거하였으며 상사지원 변수의 영향관계를 고려하여 직급이 최고경영자인 관장에 해당하는 응답자와 주요 변수에 불성실 응답을 한 경우를 제외한 최종 271명의 자료를 분석하였다. 구조방정식모형을 통해 분석한 결과, 사회복지사의 상사지원과 조직지원에 대한 인식이 높을수록 관계적계약 인식 정도도 높아졌다. 응답자가 소속된 조직의 복리후생제도 시행수준은 상사지원과 조직지원의 이중매개 경로를 거쳐 관계적계약에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 동시에 관계적계약에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 이러한 연구결과에 기반을 두어 사회복지사의 관계적계약 인식 제고와 관련 함의 및 후속연구의 필요성을 제시하였다.

프랜차이즈 모기업 핵심역량 자원이 가맹점 관계결속과 재계약의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Core Competence and Resource Sharing on the Relational Bond among Franchisees and on Re-contract Intention in the Franchising Parent Companies)

  • Purpose - The domestic franchise industry has made significant contributions to industry such as investment, employment, and community economy development, facilitating growth potential. The franchise industry provides management knowhow transfer between parent companies and franchisees as per contracts addressing use of business signs, franchisees' independent position, franchisor support, and royalties to be paid to the franchisors. However, many franchisors lack management knowhow and provide insufficient support because of poor control of franchisees and not having a systematic approach to support. This results in dissatisfied franchisees and failure to establish long-term relationships. Few studies have examined relational commitment and/or re-contract intention by support resources between franchisors and franchisees, despite a considerable output of theories and studies of the growth of the franchise industry. The purpose of this study, therefore, was to examine the effects of the ability to provide resources on relational commitments and re-contract intention, and to suggest causal relationships and implications. Research design, data, and methodology - The subject was domestic franchisors registered with the Association of Franchise with more than 50 franchisees. Franchisees under contract for 2 years and considering re-contract of their franchise 2 years later were used. The subjects totaled 300 franchisees in Seoul. A questionnaire survey was used to investigate the subject of franchisees' concessions during the 10 days from November 21, 2013 to November 30, 2013. After excluding 16 surveys with poor answers, 284 responses were finally used. Four areas and 44 questions were used. A nominal scale was used for four common characteristics questions including gender, ages, educational background, and franchise managing time. Questions regarding ability, relational commitment, and re-contract intention made use of a Likert 5-point scale. Data coding and data cleaning were used. SPSS 18.0 was used as follows. First, frequency analysis was done to investigate demographic characteristics. Second, exploratory factor analysis was done to verify validity of testing tools, and Cronbach's α coefficient was used to verify reliability. Third, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were done. An exploratory factor analysis was done to verify validity of concepts. A correlation analysis was done to test relationships between the variables, and multiple regression analysis was done to verify franchisor's ability, franchisees' relational commitment, and re-contract intention. Results - The following were the outcomes. First, store operation management, finance operation management, and human resource management affected the calculated bond. Second, store operation management and finance operation management affected the emotional bond. Third, store operation management, finance operation management, human resource management, and marketing management affected the prescriptive bond. Fourth, calculated bond and prescriptive bond had an effect on re-contract intention. Conclusions - As stated above, in franchise management, parent companies' offer and instruction of core competence to their franchisees as an information resource could improve the relational bond by helping them grow together through the resource sharing. Consequently, core competence factors were promoting factors that could improve franchisees' re-contract intention for a long time.

항공사승무원의 고용불안정이 심리적계약 위반과 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Job Insecurity of Airline Crew Members on Their Psychological Contract Violation and Job Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 항공사 승무원의 고용불안이 심리적계약위반과 직무에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 파악하기 위하여 가설을 설정하였다. 항공사 승무원이 느끼는 고용불안을 감소시키는데 유의미한 시사점을 제공하고자하였으며, 심리적계약위반을 완화시킬 수 있는 방안을 검토하여 항공사의 인적자원관리에 이론적 실무적 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 실증분석결과는 아래와 같다. 먼저 "항공사승무원이 지각하는 고용불안정은 거래 심리적 계약위반에 정의 영향을 미칠 것이다"는 가설 1-1은 채택되었다. 둘째, "항공사승무원이 지각하는 고용불안정은 관계 심리적 계약위반에 정의 영향을 미칠 것이다" 는 가설 1-2는 채택되었다. 셋째, "항공사승무원이 지각하는 거래 심리적 계약위반은 직무만족에 부의 영향을 미칠 것이다" 는 H 2-1는 채택되었다. 반면 충분한 교육훈련이나 경력계발기회 등의 관계 심리적 계약위반을 높게 지각할수록 직무만족에는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타나 가설 2-2는 기각 되었다. 마지막으로 "항공사승무원이 지각하는 고용불안정은 직무만족에 부의 영향을 미칠 것이다"는 가설 3은 채택되었다. 즉 위협적인 상황으로 인해 자신의 직무가 없어질 지도 모른다는 무력감을 느낄수록 직무만족은 저하되는 것으로 나타났다.

간호사의 심리적 계약이 발언행동에 미치는 영향 (The effect of psychological Contract of Nurse on Voice Behavior)

  • 본 연구는 간호사의 심리적 계약이 발언행동에 미치는 영향을 확인하여 조직의 인적자원관리와 효율적 병원 경영을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 연구 참여에 동의한 간호사를 대상으로 실시한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구결과 심리적 계약의 조직의무 이행 인식정도에서 거래적 계약과 관계적 계약 모두 낮게 나타났으며 발언행동은 지지적 발언, 건설적 발언, 저항적 발언, 부정적 발언 순으로 나타났다. 심리적 계약과 발언 행동의 하위 영역 관계를 보면 거래적 계약과 건설적 발언은 양의 상관관계가 있었으며(p<.05), 관계적 계약과 부정적 발언은 음의 상관관계가 있었다(p<.05). 따라서 의료기관은 새로운 정책, 조직 변화를 수행하고자 할 때 간호사의 역할 변화에 따른 내적 외적 보상이 이루어질 수 있는 시스템을 구축하는 것이 필요하다. 또한 간호사가 정책이나 조직변화에 적극 참여할 수 있도록 조직문화를 개선시키는 것이 필요하다.

An Empirical Study on Trade Claim Management from a Relational Perspective

  • Purpose - This study is designed to provide new insights on trade claim management by typifying trade claims from a relational perspective, which defines trade as an organic combination that exchanges relationships based on a mutual goal instead of conflicts between obligations and rights of the contracting parties. Design/methodology - This is a phenomenological study that aims to typify trade claims based on a relational perspective and extract implications for trade claim management. The research procedures of this study are as follows. First, international commercial dispute cases applying the CISG are collected. Second, the cases collected are quantified through content analysis. The variables for quantification are developed based on a relationship perspective. Third, cluster analysis is conducted on coded data to typify cases. And finally, this study compares the characteristics of each type using analysis of variance and suggests implications for the strategic management of trade claims from a relational perspective. Findings - Results show that trade claims are divided into four clusters, depending on whether flexibility is accepted or not and which party violates mutuality. There is also a difference between the claimant and the cause of the claim, according to the cluster. Based on the results, this study suggests that the buyer and the seller should employ different strategies depending on the type of trade claim and presents proposals for strategic claim management. Originality/value - Firstly, this study extends the theoretical discussion on trade claims by applying relational contract theory. Prior studies on trade claims have been primarily based on traditional contract theory. The second is to analyze trade claims quantitatively. Prior case studies on trade claims have mainly relied on qualitative research. Finally, the study contributes to international commercial practice by typifying trade claims and presenting options for strategic management.

TOWARDS A RELATIONAL CONTRACTING FRAMEWORK IN THE AUSTRALIAN CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY: AN INITIAL FRAMEWORK

  • The Australian construction industry is characterized as being a competitive and risky business environment due to lack of cooperation, insufficient trust, ineffective communication and adversarial relationships which are likely lead to poor project performance. Relational contracting (RC) is advocated by literature as an innovative approach to improve the procurement process in the construction industry. Various studies have collectively added to the current knowledge of known RC norms, but there seem to be little effort on investigating the determinants of RC and its impact on project outcomes. In such circumstances, there is lack of evidence and explanation on the manner on how these issues lead to different performance. Simultaneously, the New Engineering Contract (NEC) that embraced the concept of RC is seen as a modern way of contracting and also considered as one of the best approaches to the perennial problem of improving adversarial relationships within the industry. The reality of practice of RC in Australia is investigated through the lens of the NEC. A synthesis of literature views on the concept, processes and tools of RC is first conducted to develop the framework of RC. A case study approach is proposed for an in-depth analysis to explore the critical issues addressed by RC in relation to project performance. Understanding the realities of RC will assist stakeholders in the construction industry with their investment in RC.

Analysis of Contract Price in a B2B Automobile Auction

  • This study analyzed the structure of pricing in the automobile auction market by using real trade data. We focused on the bidding behavior of bidders and the contract price of exhibits. First, we proposed a relational framework among exhibits, number of bidders, and the contract price. Next, we utilized a neural network model to estimate the number of bidders and the contract price. Subsequently, we investigated the relationship between the number of bidders and the contact price, and evaluated our method through an analysis that employed verifying data. Lastly, we listed our suggestions for bidding in auction markets.

한국 사회복지서비스의 변화 - 행위자간 관계의 분석 - (The Changes of Social Welfare Services in Korea - Analyzing the Changing Relationship between Actors -)

  • 본 연구는 최근 한국 사회복지서비스의 변화를 민영화이론, 복지혼합, 소비자주의 접근으로 설명하는 것이 제한적이라고 보고 서비스 행위자간 관계분석으로 변화를 설명하고자 하였다. 사회복지서비스의 네 행위자인 이용자, 전달자, 제공자, 정부가 맺는 여섯 차원의 관계에서 변화를 공식성과 평등성 이라는 기준으로 분석하였다. 이 결과 한국 사회복지서비스에서 행위자들의 관계가 온정적이고 시혜적인 성격의 비공식적이고 위계적인 관계에서 공식성과 평등성을 강화하는 방식으로 제도화되고 있음을 포착하였다. 이러한 관계는 계약적 방식에 기초하고 있으며 행위자 권리의 제도적 기초가 형성된 점이 의미 있는 변화로 발견되었다. 반면, 정부와 다른 행위자들과의 관계가 가지는 불명료성이 딜레마로 분석되었다. 이 딜레마는 사회복지서비스 공급에서 서비스 질 관리라는 정부의 역할을 구체화하면서 해결되어야 함을 제안하였다.

A Study on Determining Trade Terms for Logistics Efficiency in the Era of Logistics 4.0: Moderated Mediating Effect of Added Value of Traded Goods

  • Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to study how flexibility and mutuality in determining trade terms impact logistics efficiency in the context of relational theory. Additionally, the effect of relational contracts on logistical efficiency relative to the value of the goods being traded is investigated. Design/methodology - According to the relational contract theory, we developed 17 factors utilizing a 7-point Likert scale to measure variables related to flexibility, mutuality, logistics efficiency, and the added value of goods. The survey occurred over four months, and was distributed directly, and via email, phone, and online Google surveys. A total of 403 surveys were collected out of 1,800 distributed, and 380 were analyzed. The principal respondents were import/export companies and members of the Korea International Trade Association and the Korea Small and Medium Business Export-Import Association. The collected data were analyzed using frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and correlation analysis using SPSS ver. 26.0 statistical software, and hypothesis test results were derived using Process Macro ver. 3.5. Findings - This study provides evidence that negotiation flexibility for trade terms affects the efficiency of the logistics process, and the mutuality of such arrangements is shown to be associated with the flexibility and efficiency of logistics processes. Additionally, it has been established that companies whose trade goods possess a low degree of added value may experience increased efficiency in logistics operations if they agree to trade terms that are both flexible and mutually beneficial with their counterparts. Originality/value - This study suggests that in an environment of rapidly shifting global logistics and unpredictable related costs, trade companies may be able to improve logistics efficiency by establishing flexible, mutually beneficial trade terms when entering into contracts. Furthermore, it is suggested that companies dealing in low-value-added products may improve the logistical performance of approaching trade from a perspective of relational contracts.
