Background: The sprouts of oak species play an important role in maintaining the oak community in a disturbed environment. In this study, we cut 1-year-old oak in three times during the 3 years and measured the sprout responses to know sprouting ability of six deciduous oaks in Korea. Results: Oak sprouts have appeared in spring and fall, and some of the sprouts had lifespan as short as a month. As the number of cutting increases, sprout number of Quercus acutissima increased whereas the other oak species decreased or died. The average number of sprouts over the 3 years was from 1.4 (Quercus mongolica) to 2.2 (Q. acutissima) per individual. Quercus serrata died after the second cutting, and Quercus dentata died after the third cutting. So, the two species have the lowest sprouting ability among six oak species. The sprouts grew actively during fall and slowly in summer. The sprout length during the 3 years was in the following descending order: Q. acutissima, Quercus aliena, Q. dentata, and Q. mongolica. Sprout of Q. acutissima and Q. aliena generated steadily over the 3 years, and sprout of Quercus variabilis and Q. mongolica was changed by year. After the 3 years, the number of sprouts increased only in Q. acutissima but sprout number of the other five oak species decreased. The sprout length of Q. acutissima, Q. aliena, and Q. variabilis increased, but sprout length of the other three oak species decreased. The average survival rate of saplings over the 3 years was in the following descending order: Q. acutissima, Q. aliena, Q. variabilis, and Q. mongolica. Conclusions: As a result, the sprouting ability of Q. acutissima was the highest. Such level of sprouting ability may be the evidence of how Q. acutissima community exists as a dominant species in a disturbed environment in lowlands of Korea peninsula.

산란행렬을 이용하여 2단자망 RF 공동공진기의 Q 측정 방법을 제안하였다. 집중소자를 이 용한 등가회로 모델을 이용하여 공동공진기의 Q를 포함한 파라미터의 함수로 산란행렬을 구했다. 산란행렬은 회로망분석기를 이용하여 직접 측정할 수 있다. 제안한 방법으로 측정한 결과는 기존에 잘 알려진 방법과 일치함을 보였다. 제안한 방법의 Q 측정 절차는 기존의 방법에 비해서 간단할 뿐만 아니라 RF 공동공진기가 전자빔을 가속시킬 때 중요한 파라미터인 결합전력비를 구할 수도 있다.

We characterize the boundedness and compactness of the weighted composition operator $uC_{\psi}$ from the general function space F(p, q, s) into the logarithmic Bloch space ${\beta}_L$ on the unit disk. Some necessary and sufficient conditions are given for which $uC_{\psi}$ is a bounded or a compact operator from F(p,q,s), $F_0$(p,q,s) into ${\beta}_L$, ${\beta}_L^0$ respectively.

The purposes of this study were to : a) develop the quality assessment tool of hospital foodservice management, b) evaluate the S hospital's foodservice quality by this tool, and c) do the feasibility study about this tool in hospital food-service field by establishing quality management strategies. The developed quality assessment tool of hospital food-service management was consisted of 20 items for quality evaluation by Likert 5 point scale and two additional questions with the most satisfactory item and the most unsatisfactory item. As a result of evaluation, S hospital's foodservice quality was somewhat high, on the factor 'personnel attitude', especially. The IPA technique proved nine items including Q5, Q7, Q8, Q11, Q12, Q13, Q15, Q16, Q17 were in 'Doing Great, Keep It Up' and seven items such as Q1, Q2, Q3, Q6, Q9, Q18, Q19 that got high expectation and low perception needed to be focused in quality management strategy.

본 논문에서는 2.4GHz 및 5GHz의 이중대역에서 동작하는 I/Q 모듈레이터를 설계하였다. 광대역 믹서에 $90^{\circ}$ 위상천이기를 이용하여 quadrature 신호를 입력하여 베이스밴드 신호를 변조된 RF 신호로 출력한다. 제안한 I/Q 모듈레이터의 변환 손실은 2.4GHz에서 약 15dB이고 5.8GHz 대역에서 약 16dB이다. 사이드밴드 억압특성은 2.4GHz/5GHz에서 각각 15dBc, 16dBc이며, carrier suppression은 두 대역에서 약 40dBc이다. 또한 11Mbps 의 QPSK 신호입력시의 EVM 특성은 2.4GHz에서 약 8.5%, 5GHz에서 10% 이며, 반송파 억압은 두 대역에서 40dB 이상으로, 무선 랜 신호를 인가시 출력 스펙트럼 규격을 만족하였다.

The purpose of this study is to construct the structure of the connected Lie group G with its Lie algebra $g=rad(g){\oplus}sl(2, \mathbb{F})$, which conforms to Stellmacher's [4] Pushing Up. The main idea of this paper comes from Stellmacher's [4] Pushing Up. Stelhnacher considered Pushing Up under a finite p-group. This paper, however, considers Pushing Up under the connected Lie group G with its Lie algebra $g=rad(g){\oplus}sl(2, \mathbb{F})$. In this paper, $O_p(G)$ in [4] is Q=exp(q), where q=nilrad(g) and a Sylow p-subgroup S in [7] is S=exp(s), where $s=q{\oplus}\{\(\array{0&*\\0&0}\){\mid}*{\in}\mathbb{F}\}$. Showing the properties of the connected Lie group and the subgroups of the connected Lie group with relations between a connected Lie group and its Lie algebras under the exponential map, this paper constructs the subgroup series C_z(G)

본 연구는 국민건강영양조사 제4기 자료를 이용하여 한국 성인에서 비타민 섭취와 치주염과의 관련성을 구명하고자 하였다. 국민건강영양조사 원시자료에서 건강조사와 구강검진 및 식이조사에 모두 참여한 19세 이상 성인 6,245명의 자료를 추출한 후 복합표본설계를 반영하기 위하여 가중치를 고려한 통계분석을 실시하였다. 대상자의 인구사회학적 특성, 전신건강상태와 행태, 구강건강상태와 행태 및 비타민 섭취 5분위에 따른 치주염 유병률의 차이를 ${\chi}^2$-검정을 이용하여 분석하였으며, 로지스틱 회귀분석을 이용하여 인구사회학적 특성, 전신건강상태와 행태 및 구강건강상태와 행태를 보정한 비타민 섭취와 치주염과의 관련성을 분석하였다. 치주염 유병률은 성별, 나이, 결혼상태, 교육, 수입에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었으며(p<0.05), 주관적 건강상태, 심혈관질환 여부, 당뇨 여부, 음주행태, 흡연상태, 및 BMI에 따른 차이도 통계적으로 유의하였고(p<0.05), 칫솔질 횟수, 주관적 구강건강상태, 구강위생용품 사용여부에 따른 차이도 통계적으로 유의하였다(p<0.05). 한편 고려된 비타민 중 비타민 A와 레티놀 및 비타민 B2 섭취가 적을수록 치주염 유병위험이 통계적으로 유의하게 높았고, 인구사회학적 특성과 전신건강상태와 행태 및 구강건강상태와 행태를 보정한 후에는 비타민 B2에서만 통계적으로 유의한 관련성이 있었다(OR: Q1=1.00, Q2=0.72, Q3=0.73, Q4=0.76, Q5=0.84). 따라서 적절한 비타민 B2의 섭취는 치주염 유병위험을 감소시킴으로써 한국 성인 인구의 지속적인 치주건강을 유지하는 데 도움이 될 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

국내외 75점의 흰색 및 자색 양파 유전자원으로부터 총 5종의 flavonol 배당체(Q34'diG, Q3G, Q4'G, I4'G, Q)를 분리 동정하였다. 양파 내 존재하는 flavonol 배당체는 aglycone인 quercetin 및 isorhamnetin에 하나 또는 두 개의 glucose가 결합된 형태로 검출되었다. 총 flavonol 함량 범위는 흰색 양파가 0.18-6.47 mg/g, 자색 양파가 2.39-6.47 mg/g 이었으며, 자색 양파가 평균 4.41 mg/g 로 흰색 양파(3.23 mg/g)보다 약 1.4배 높았다. 양파의 주요 성분으로는 Q34'diG 및 Q4'G 총함량 비율이 흰색 및 자색 양파에서 모두 약 85% 이상을 보였다.

본 논문에서는 기하학적인 관점으로 이변량 가우시안 Q-함수의 Craig 표현에 대한 새롭고 간단한 유도를 제시하고 있다. 또한, 이러한 기하학적인 유도는 이변량 가우시안 Q-함수의 또 다른 Craig 표현 식을 제시하고 있다. 새롭게 유도된 이변량 가우시안 Q-함수의 Craig 식은 2개의 상관 가우시안 잡음에서 직교좌표의 변환으로 생성되는 2개 웨지 영역의 기하학으로부터 새롭게 구한 것이다. 제시된 Craig 형태는 이변량 가우시안 Q-함수로 표현되는 확률을 계산하는데, 중요한 역할을 할 수 있다.

Let $\mathbb{F}_q$ be a finite field with q elements and $\mathbb{F}_q((X^{-1}))$ be the field of all formal Laurent series with coefficients lying in $\mathbb{F}_q$. This paper concerns with the size of the set of points $x{\in}\mathbb{F}_q((X^{-1}))$ with their partial quotients $A_n(x)$ both lying in a given subset $\mathbb{B}$ of polynomials in $\mathbb{F}_q[X]$ ($\mathbb{F}_q[X]$ denotes the ring of polynomials with coefficients in $\mathbb{F}_q$) and deg $A_n(x)$ tends to infinity at least with some given speed. Write $E_{\mathbb{B}}=\{x:A_n(x){\in}\mathbb{B},\;deg\;A_n(x){\rightarrow}{\infty}\;as\;n{\rightarrow}{\infty}\}$. It was shown in [8] that the Hausdorff dimension of $E_{\mathbb{B}}$ is inf{$s:{\sum}_{b{\in}\mathbb{B}}(q^{-2\;deg\;b})^s$ < ${\infty}$}. In this note, we will show that the above result is sharp. Moreover, we also attempt to give conditions under which the above dimensional formula still valid if we require the given speed of deg $A_n(x)$ tends to infinity.
