In this paper weak and strong convergence theorems of modified Noor iterations to fixed points for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in the intermediate sense in Banach spaces are established. In one theorem where we establish strong convergence we assume an additional property of the operator whereas in another theorem where we establish weak convergence assume an additional property of the space.

In this paper, we prove some coincidence point theorems involving ${\varphi}-contraction$ in ordered partial metric spaces. We also extend newly introduced notion of g-comparability of a pair of maps for linear contraction in ordered metric spaces to non-linear contraction in ordered partial metric spaces. Thus, our results extend, modify and generalize some recent well known coincidence point theorems of ordered metric spaces.

We prove that the dimension of the space of positive (bounded, respectively) solutions for the Schrodinger operator whose potential q is nonnegative on a graph with q-regular ends is equal to the number of ends (q-nonparabolic ends, respectively).

We propose coupled fixed point theorems for maps satisfying contractive conditions involving a rational expression in the setting of partially ordered metric spaces. We also present a result on the existence and uniqueness of coupled fixed points. In particular, it is shown that the results existing in the literature are extend, generalized, unify and improved by using mixed monotone property. Given to support the useability of our results, and to distinguish them from the known ones.

In this paper, we give a Peleg type KKM theorem on G-convex spaces and using this, we obtain a coincidence theorem. First, these results are applied to a whole intersection property, a section property, and an analytic alternative for multimaps. Secondly, these are used to proved existence theorems of equilibrium points in qualitative games with preference correspondences and in n-person games with constraint and preference correspondences for non-paracompact wetting of commodity spaces.

We show that if the Stone-Cech compactification of $\textit{AX}$ and the minimal basically disconnected cove. of $\beta$Χ we homeomorphic and every real $\sigma$$Z(X)^#$-ultrafilter on X has the countable intersection property, then there is a covering map from $\nu$(ΛΧ) to $\nu$Χ and every real $\sigma$$Z(X)^#$-ultrafilter on Χ has the countable intersection property if and only if there is a homeomorphism from the Hewitt realcompactification of ΛΧ to the minimal basically disconnected space of $\nu$Χ.

A new version of the discrete-time optimal FIR (finite impulse response) filter utilizing only the measurements of finite sliding estimation window is suggested for linear time-invariant state-space models. This filter is called the BLUFIR (best linear unbiased finite impulse response) filter since it provides the BLUE (best linear unbiased estimate) of the state obtained from the measurements of the estimation window. It is shown that the BLUFIR filter has the deadbeat property when there are no noises in the estimation window.

In this paper, we present some common fixed point theorems for two pairs of weakly compatible self-mappings on multiplicative metric spaces satisfying a generalized Meir-Keeler type contractive condition. The results obtained in this paper extend, improve and generalize some well known comparable results in literature.

In this article, we show that the nuclear operator defined on Banach space has an extending and lifting operator. Also we give new proofs of the well known facts which were given $Pelcz{\acute{y}}nski$ theorem for complemented subspaces of ${\ell}_1$ and Lewis and Stegall's theorem for complemented subspaces of $L_1({\mu})$.

In this article, we prove that an infinite dimensional complemented subspace X of 𝓛₁-space Z with unconditional basis (x_n) has the lifting property. Hence we can give an alternative proof that X is isomorphic to ℓ₁ given by Lindenstrauss and Pelczyński.
