Biaxial Tensile Behaviors of Elastomeric Polymer Networks

  • For the total description of mechanical behaviors of elastomers, it is necessary to know the so-called rheological constitutive equation i.e. the strain-energy density function (W) in case of elastomers, which necessitates biaxial tensile results of elastic body. This paper first describes the experimental results of biaxial tensile measurements on poly(siloxane) model networks. W was estimated from its differential form i.e. the $1^{st}$ differential of W is stress. The W was found to reproduce the experimental stress-strain results, and the W estimated for silica filled poly(siloxane) networks suggest a different behavior between conventional precipitated silica and in situ formed silica. The difference suggests the different surface property of the two silicas.

  • The electronic cash, an electronic equivalent of the real paper money, has been recently proposed as one of the various payment methods for electronic commerce. In this paper, we design an electronic cash payment system based on a new electronic cash payment protocol that can effectively provide full anonymity and avoid double-spending. The protocol is suitable for use as the electronic cash control or electronic cash database. The protocol support also security and electronic cash property.

  • Let R be a commutative ring. An R-module E is said to be regular injective provided that Ext1R(R/I, E) = 0 for any regular ideal I of R. We first show that the class of regular injective modules have the hereditary property, and then introduce and study the regular injective dimension of modules and regular global dimension of rings. Finally, we give some homological characterizations of total rings of quotients and Dedekind rings.

  • Reverse edge magic(REM) labeling of the graph G = (V, E) is a bijection of vertices and edges to a set of numbers from the set, defined by λ : V ∪ E → {1, 2, 3, …, |V| + |E|} with the property that for every xy ∈ E, constant k is the weight of equals to a xy, that is λ(xy) - [λ(x) + λ(x)] = k for some integer k. We given the construction of REM labeling for the Cartesian Product, Unions of Braids and Unions of Triangular Belts. The Kotzig array used in this paper is the 3 × (2r + 1) kotzig array. we test the konow results about REM labelling that are related to the new results we found.

  • 동북아시아는 1,521억 달러 규모의 세계 게임시장의 절반을 차지하는 지역이며 성장잠재력 또한 풍부하다. 한국의 게임개발은 이미 세계수준임이 입증된 바, 본 연구는 게임을 매개로 한 e스포츠에 주목한다. 초기 한국 e스포츠는 게이머-팬의 적극적인 참여라는 정동의 유통을 통해 형성될 수 있었다. 이후 기업팀의 창설이 연이어지며 산업으로서의 안정성을 확보하게 되었다. 그러나 중계권 및 지재권 분쟁, 승부조작 사태가 연이어지며 초기의 팬덤이 대거 이탈하고 스타크래프트 중심의 생태계가 붕괴되기에 이른다. e스포츠 종주국 한국의 경험은 앞으로 세계 각지 e스포츠 산업에 중요한 참고자료로 활용될 수 있다.

국내 손해 보험사의 e-Business 기업 혁신 사례 연구 (A Case Study of Process Innovation for e-Business Transformation: Lessons Learned from a Korea-Based Leading P&C Insurance Company)

  • As insurers have undergone changing customer expectations, increased cross-industry competition and restructured distribution channels, they need to enhance customer relationships, cut costs, increase agility and streamline operations while differentiating the core competency. As such, the importance of e-business transformation has increased where organizational core processes are restructured around customers and interned-based technology is adopted for flexible and adaptive information systems. This paper presents a case study of process innovation for e-business transformation in a Korea-based leading property & casualty insurance company. The company initiated three years-long e-business transformation program to remain competitive and to keep sustainable growth under risky and down economy. The program, which covered enterprise-wide business processes such as product, marketing & sales, customer, claim, investment & loan, accountings, etc., included redesigning processes from customers' viewpoint and then implementing process-aligned information systems. Leadership, sponsorship, change management, performance measurement, business and IT alignment, empowerment, and customized methodology, were emphasized throughout the program. As a result, the company could expect not only improvements in customer-centricity, sales productivity, and operational excellence but also increased revenues and profits in the next three years. The presented case addresses a feasible approach for enterprise-wide e-business transformation. Although the strategies, actions, and business and IT models are not described in detail due to confidentiality, the methodology and the success factors would be applicable to other insurers and possibly organizations in different industries.

복제 공격 저항성을 갖는 전자봉인 보안 모델 (A Security Model for Duplication Resistant eSeal)

  • 전자봉인 장치는 능동형 RFID장치로서, 화물 컨테이너의 문에 설치되어 컨테이너가 허가받지 않은 자에 의해 개봉되지 않았다는 것을 보증해 주는 장치이다. 전자 봉인장치는 RFID를 이용하므로 도청이나 위조를 막아야만 한다. 또한 보안 프로토콜을 사용하는 전자봉인 장치는 복제가 불가능해야 한다. 전자봉인의 복제 방지 기능이 제공되지 않는다면, 공격자는 컨테이너의 내용물을 바꾸어 넣은 다음에 복제된 전자봉인으로 재봉인 함으로서 전자봉인이 개봉되었었다는 사실을 숨길 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 도청과 위조를 방지함과 동시에, 봉인의 복제에 대한 저항성을 갖는 프로토콜을 제안하고자 한다.

M/En/1 대기모형에서 얼랑분포의 성질을 이용한 오버슛의 분포에 대한 근사 (Approximation on the Distribution of the Overshoot by the Property of Erlang Distribution in the M/En/1 Queue)

  • 본 논문은 $M/E_n/1$ 대기모형에서 작업부하량과정의 오버슛의 분포함수에 대한 근사식을 제안한다. 오버슛이란 작업부하량과정이 미리 정해진 한계점을 처음으로 초과할 때 초과하는 양을 말하는데 정확한 분포함수는 수학적인 표현으로만 얻어졌을 뿐 분포함수를 실제로 계산하는 것은 거의 불가능하다. 그래서 기존 연구에서는 오버슛에 관한 몇가지 성질을 이용하여 오버슛의 분포함수에 대한 근사식이 구해졌다. 본 논문은 고객의 서비스시간의 분포가 얼랑분포라는 점을 활용하여 기존에 얻어진 근사식보다 더 정확한 근사식을 제안한다. 그리고 제안한 근사식이 얼마나 참값에 가까운지 판단하기 위하여 시뮬레이션을 통하여 얻어진 오버슛의 분포함수와 비교한다.

Structure and Antibacterial Property of ZnO-B2O3-P2O5 Glasses

  • The glass structure and antibacterial properties of $(65-x)ZnO-xB_2O_3-35P_2O_5$ glasses were investigated. Zinc borophosphate glasses were prepared using a conventional melt-quenching technique at $1000^{\circ}C$. Glass transition temperature and CTE were studied and the structure of zinc borophosphate glasses was evaluated by FTIR. The $Zn^{2+}$ state increase with increasing ZnO content was investigated by XPS and a single sharp Zn $2P_{3/2}$ peak was confirmed, showing that Zn $2P_{3/2}$ exists as $Zn^{2+}$. In order to to evaluate the antimicrobial activity, Escherichia coli (E. coli) was used following the Japanese Industrial Standard JIS Z 2801; the E. coli death rate was found to increase with increasing $Zn^{2+}$ content of glasses.

재활용 AC4A 알루미늄 합금의 충격 및 피로 특성에 미치는 (Ti-B), Sr 첨가제의 영향 (Effect of (Ti-B) and Sr Additives on Impact and Fatigue Properties of Recycled AC4A Aluminum Casting Alloy)

  • The effects of Sr and (Ti-B) additives on the impact and fatigue properties of recycled (35% scrap content) AC4A aluminum alloy are investigated here. The acicular morphology of the eutectic Si phase of as-cast specimens was converted to the fibrous one with Sr additives. The grain size of the α-solid solution decreased by the addition of (Ti-B) additives. The crack initiation energy (Ei) of the impact absorption energy decreased due to the incorporation of an oxide film and inclusions depending on the scrap used. The modification of the eutectic Si morphology by Sr additives is considered as the main factor of the increase of the average impact absorption energy (Et). The addition of (Ti-B) additives contributed to an increase in the occurrence of crack deflections due to the refining of α-Al grains, resulting in improved fatigue properties.
