  • In this paper, we introduce new iterative schemes by using the modified Ishikawa iteration for two hybrid multivalued mappings in a Hilbert space. We then obtain weak convergence theorem under suitable conditions. We use CQ and shrinking projection methods with Ishikawa iteration for obtaining strong convergence theorems. Furthermore, we give examples and numerical results for supporting our main results.

  • In this paper, we study a new iterative method for solving mixed equilibrium problem and a common fixed point of a finite family of Bregman strongly nonexpansive mappings in the framework of reflexive real Banach spaces. Moreover, we prove a strong convergence theorem for finding common fixed points which also are solutions of a mixed equilibrium problem.

  • We propose a camera system to acquire indoor stereo omni-directional images and its calibration method. These images can be utilized for indoor precise mapping and sophisticated imagebased services. The proposed system is configured with a rotating stereo line camera system, providing stereo omni-directional images appropriate to stable stereoscopy and precise derivation of object point coordinates. Based on the projection model, we derive a mathematical model for the system calibration. After performing the system calibration, we can estimate object points with an accuracy of less than ${\pm}16cm$ in indoor space. The proposed system and calibration method will be applied to indoor precise 3D modeling.

  • Recently many studies has been conducted for interactive game to contents immersion through visual stimuli. Among them, Multi-Plane Image tech is suitable for projecting video in wide views, but it is difficult to perform calibration and mapping tasks for viewing separately. In this paper, we developed a calibration mapping applies to the field archery game space in the form of CAVE. As a result, we maintained the resolution confirmed the space through the video without distortion and expect to be applicable to the fields requiring presence, such as training contents.

  • The subjects of the study are the sedimentary rock slope of the Mesozoic Gyeongsang Supergroup, which has a high risk of failure. The orientation of the slope-face represents a variety of changing characteristics. The rocks of the slope shall be sandstone, siltstone and dacite, and discontinuities shall develop beddings, shear joints, extension joints, and dacite dyke boundary planes. The type and scale of failure varies depending on the type of rock and the strike/dip of the discontinuities, but the toppling failure prevails. Based on the face-mapping data, SMR, physical and mechanical testing of rocks, analysis and review of the stereonet projections and the critical equilibrium analysis, all four representative sections required a countermeasure method because the acceptable safety factor during dry and rainy seasons were far below Fs = 1.5 and Fs = 1.2. After applying the countermeasure method, both the dry and wet conditions of the slope exceeded the allowable safety factor. In particular, the face-mapping data of the slope-face, the geological cross-sections of several representative sections perpendicular to the slope-face, and the critical equilibrium analysis and the presentation of countermeasure methods that have been reviewed based on them are expected to be reasonable tools for the slope stability. In addition, it will be possible to use it as basic data for performance evaluation for slope maintenance.

  • There are many researches related to a simulated shooting training system for replacing the real military and police shooting training. In this paper, we propose the point of impact from a simulated shooting target based on image processing instead of using a sensor based approach. The point of impact is extracted by analyzing the image extracted from the camera on the muzzle of a gun. The final shooting result is calculated by mapping the target and the coordinates of the point of impact. The recognition system is divided into recognizing the projection zone, extracting the point of impact on the projection zone, and calculating the shooting result from the point of impact. We find the vertices of the projection zone after converting the captured image to the binary image and extract the point of impact in it. We present the extracting process step by step and provide experiments to validate the results. The experiments show that exact vertices of the projection area and the point of impact are found and a conversion result for the final result is shown on the interface.

  • Let C be a nonempty closed convex subset of a real Hilbert space H. Consider the following iterative algorithm given by $x_0\;{\in}\;C$ arbitrarily chosen, $x_{n+1}\;=\;{\alpha}_n{\gamma}f(W_nx_n)+{\beta}_nx_n+((1-{\beta}_n)I-{\alpha}_nA)W_nP_C(I-s_nB)x_n$, ${\forall}_n\;{\geq}\;0$, where $\gamma$ > 0, B : C $\rightarrow$ H is a $\beta$-inverse-strongly monotone mapping, f is a contraction of H into itself with a coefficient $\alpha$ (0 < $\alpha$ < 1), $P_C$ is a projection of H onto C, A is a strongly positive linear bounded operator on H and $W_n$ is the W-mapping generated by a finite family of nonexpansive mappings $T_1$, $T_2$, ${\ldots}$, $T_N$ and {$\lambda_{n,1}$}, {$\lambda_{n,2}$}, ${\ldots}$, {$\lambda_{n,N}$}. Nonexpansivity of each $T_i$ ensures the nonexpansivity of $W_n$. We prove that the sequence {$x_n$} generated by the above iterative algorithm converges strongly to a common fixed point $q\;{\in}\;F$ := $\bigcap^N_{i=1}F(T_i)\;\bigcap\;VI(C,\;B)$ which solves the variational inequality $\langle({\gamma}f\;-\;A)q,\;p\;-\;q{\rangle}\;{\leq}\;0$ for all $p\;{\in}\;F$. Using this result, we consider the problem of finding a common fixed point of a finite family of nonexpansive mappings and a strictly pseudocontractive mapping and the problem of finding a common element of the set of common fixed points of a finite family of nonexpansive mappings and the set of zeros of an inverse-strongly monotone mapping. The results obtained in this paper extend and improve the several recent results in this area.

  • Single Photon Emission Computed tomography(SPECT) was performed on 13 healthy adults (average age: 39) to investigate the changes of cerebral blood flow according to brain imaging analysis algorithm. The acquired images were filtered and reconstructed through Filtered Back Projection (FBP) and Ordered Subset Expectation Maximization (OSEM). The brain distribution data of radiopharmaceuticals were compared using Statistical Parametric Mapping (SPM), and the changes of blood flow was expressed in Cluster. As a result, uptake rate was increased in Sub-gyral, Sub-Lobar, Extra-Nuclear, Limbic lobe and Cingulate Gyrus, while uptake rate was decreased in Middle frontal gyrus, Inferior Frontal Gyrus and Precentral Gyrus. The discriminable SPM was shown according to cerebral blood flows in Cluster by the reconstruction algorithm.

  • Recently, a study is conducting to image collection and auto detection of attribute information using mobile mapping system. The road sign attribute information detection is difficult because of various size and placement, interference of other facilities like trees. In this study, a text detection method that does not rely on a Korean character template is required to successfully detect the target text when a variety of differently sized texts are present near the target texts. To overcome this, the method of incremental right-to-left blob projection (IRBP) was suggested as a solution; the potential and improvement of the method was also assessed. To assess the performance improvement of the IRBP that was developed, the IRBP method was compared to the existing method that uses Korean templates through the 60 videos of street signs that were used. It was verified that text detection can be improved with the IRBP method.
