VCDL(: Voltage Controlled Delay Line)은 CML(: Current Mode Logic)을 사용하는 자체 바이어스 지연 셀을 사용하여 온도에 민감하지 않고 잡음을 공급한다.
In GMAW(Gas Metal Arc Welding) processes, bead geometry (penetration, bead width and height) is a criterion to estimate welding quality, Bead geometry is affected by welding current, arc voltage and travel speed, shielding gas, CTWD (contact-tip to workpiece distance) and so on. In this paper, welding process variables were selected as welding current, arc voltage and travel speed. And bead geometry was reasoned from the chosen welding process variables using neuro-fuzzy algorithm. Neural networks was applied to design FLC(fuzzy logic control), The parameters of input membership functions and those of consequence functions in FLC were tuned through the method of learning by backpropagation algorithm, Bead geometry could he reasoned from welding current, arc voltage, travel speed on FLC using the results learned by neural networks. On the developed inference system of bead geometry using neuo-fuzzy algorithm, the inference error percent of bead width was within ${\pm}4%$, that of bead height was within ${\pm}3%$, and that of penetration was within ${\pm}8%$, Neural networks came into effect to find the parameters of input membership functions and those of consequence in FLC. Therefore the inference system of welding quality expects to be developed through proposed algorithm.

This application-oriented paper describes an automated welding carriage system to weld a thin corrugated workpiece with welding seam tracking function. Hyundai Heavy Industries Corporation has developed an automatic welding carriage system, which utilizes pulsed plasma arc welding process for corrugated sheets. It can obtain high speed welding more than 2 times faster than traditional TIG based welding system. The aim of this development is to increase the productivity by using automatic plasma welding carriage systems, to track weld seam line using vision sensor automatically, and finally to provide a convenience to operator in order to carry out welding. In this paper a robust image processing and a distance based tracking algorithms are introduced for corrugated workpiece welding. The automatic welding carriage system is controlled by the programmable logic controller(PLC), and the automatic welding seam tracking system is controlled by the industrial personal computer(IPC) equipped with embedded OS. The system was tested at actual workpiece to show the feasibility and performance of proposed algorithm and to confirm the reliability of developed controller.
In the process of simplifying the complex fate of the plant into a binary state, the information loss is inevitable. To minimize the information loss, the quantification of plant safety status has been formulated through the combination of the probability density function arising from the sensor measurement and the membership function representing the expectation of the state of the system. Therefore, in this context, the safety index is introduced in an attempt to quantify the plant status from the perspective of safety. The combination of probability density function and membership function is achieved through the integration of the fuzzy intersection of the two functions, and it often is not a simple task to integrate the fuzzy intersection due to the complexity that is the result of the fuzzy intersection. Therefore, a methodology based on the Algebra of Logic is used to express the fuzzy intersection and the fuzzy union of the arbitrary functions analytically. These exact analytical expressions are then numerically integrated by the application of Monte Carlo method. The benchmark tests for rectangular area and both fuzzy intersection and union of two normal distribution functions have been performed. Lastly, the safety index was determined for the Core Reactivity Control of Yonggwang 3&4 using the presented methodology.

Monolithic three-dimensional integrated chips (3D ICs) are an emerging technology that offers an integration density that is some orders of magnitude higher than the conventional through-silicon-via (TSV)-based 3D ICs. This is due to a sequential integration process that enables extremely small monolithic inter-tier vias (MIVs). For a monolithic 3D memory, we first explore the static random-access memory (SRAM) design. Next, for digital logic, we explore several design styles. The first is transistor-level, which is a design style unique to monolithic 3D ICs that are enabled by the ultra-high-density of MIVs. We also explore gate-level and block-level design styles, which are available for TSV-based 3D ICs. For each of these design styles, we present techniques to obtain the graphic database system (GDS) layouts, and perform a signoff-quality performance and power analysis. We also discuss various challenges facing monolithic 3D ICs, such as achieving 50% footprint reduction over two-dimensional (2D) ICs, routing congestion, power delivery network design, and thermal issues. Finally, we present design techniques to overcome these challenges.
In this paper, we present the estimation of wind turbine power generation using Cascade Architectures of Fuzzy Neural Networks(CAFNN). The proposed model uses the wind speed average, the standard deviation and the past output power as input data. The CAFNN identification process uses a 10-min average wind speed with its standard deviation. The method for rule-based fuzzy modeling uses Gaussian membership function. It has three fuzzy variables with three modifiable parameters. The CAFNN's configuration has three Logic Processors(LP) that are constructed cascade architecture and an effective optimization method uses two-level genetic algorithm. First, The CAFNN is trained with one-day average input variables. Once the CAFNN has been trained, test data are used without any update. The main advantage of using CAFNN is having simple structure of system with many input variables. Therefore, The proposed CAFNN technique is useful to predict the wind turbine(WT) power effectively and hence that information will be helpful to decide the control strategy for the WT system operation and application.

Silicon nitride films grown by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) are useful for a variety of applications, including anti-reflecting coatings in solar cells, passivation layers, dielectric layers in metal/insulator structures, and diffusion masks. PECVD systems are controlled by many operating variables, including RF power, pressure, gas flow rate, reactant composition, and substrate temperature. The wide variety of processing conditions, as well as the complex nature of particle dynamics within a plasma, makes tailoring SiN film properties very challenging, since it is difficult to determine the exact relationship between desired film properties and controllable deposition conditions. In this study, SiN PECVD modeling using optimized neural networks has been investigated. The deposition of SiN was characterized via a central composite experimental design, and data from this experiment was used to train and optimize feed-forward neural networks using the back-propagation algorithm. From these neural process models, the effect of deposition conditions on film properties has been studied. A recipe synthesis (optimization) procedure was then performed using the optimized neural network models to generate the necessary deposition conditions to obtain several novel film qualities including high charge density and long lifetime. This optimization procedure utilized genetic algorithms, hybrid combinations of genetic algorithm and Powells algorithm, and hybrid combinations of genetic algorithm and simplex algorithm. Recipes predicted by these techniques were verified by experiment, and the performance of each optimization method are compared. It was found that the hybrid combinations of genetic algorithm and simplex algorithm generated recipes produced films of superior quality.
