  • Some discrimination of modules whose endomorhism rings are prime is introduced, by means of structures of submodules inducing prime ideals of the endomorphism ring End(sub)R (M) of a left R-module (sub)RM over a ring R. Modules with non-prime endomorphism rings are contrapositively studied as well.

  • In this paper, the concept of *-prime ideals in non-associative near-rings is introduced and then will be studied. For this purpose, first we introduce the notions of *-operation, *-prime ideal and *-system in a near-ring. Next, we will define the *-sequence, *-strongly nilpotent *-prime radical of near-rings, and then obtain some characterizations of *-prime ideal and *-prime radical $r_s$(I) of an ideal I of near-ring N.

  • A connection between weak ${\pi}-regularity$ and the condition every prime ideal is maximal will be investigated. We prove that a certain 2-primal ring R is weakly ${\pi}-regular$ if and only if every prime ideal is maximal. This result extends several known results nontrivially. Moreover a characterization of minimal prime ideals is also considered.

  • Posner [Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 8 (1957), 1093-1100] defined a derivation on prime rings and Herstein [Canad, Math. Bull. 21 (1978), 369-370] derived commutative property of prime ring with derivations. Recently, Bergen [Canad. Math. Bull. 26 (1983), 267-227], Bell and Daif [Acta. Math. Hunger. 66 (1995), 337-343] studied derivations in primes and semiprime rings. Also, in near-ring theory, Bell and Mason [Near-Rungs and Near-Fields (pp. 31-35), Proceedings of the conference held at the University of Tubingen, 1985. Noth-Holland, Amsterdam, 1987; Math. J. Okayama Univ. 34 (1992), 135-144] and Cho [Pusan Kyongnam Math. J. 12 (1996), no. 1, 63-69] researched derivations in prime and semiprime near-rings. In this paper, Posner, Bell and Mason's results are extended in prime near-rings with some conditions.

  • In this paper, for any ring R with an identity, in order to study prime ideals of the endomorphism ring $End_R$(M) of left R-module $_RM$, meet-prime submodules, prime radical, sum-prime submodules and the prime socle of a module are defined. Some relations of the prime radical, the prime socle of a module and the prime radical of the endomorphism ring of a module are investigated. It is revealed that meet-prime(or sum-prime) modules and semi-meet-prime(or semi-sum-prime) modules have their prime, semi-prime endomorphism rings, respectively.

  • In this paper, we investigate commutativity of 3-prime near-rings ${\mathcal{N}}$ in which (1, ${\alpha}$)-derivations satisfy certain algebraic identities. Some well-known results characterizing commutativity of 3-prime near-rings have been generalized. Furthermore, we give some examples show that the restriction imposed on the hypothesis is not superfluous.

  • We study the structure of rings whose factor rings modulo nonzero proper ideals are right duo; such rings are called right FD. We first see that this new ring property is not left-right symmetric. We prove for a non-prime right FD ring R that R is a subdirect product of subdirectly irreducible right FD rings; and that R/N∗(R) is a subdirect product of right duo domains, and R/J(R) is a subdirect product of division rings, where N∗(R) (J(R)) is the prime (Jacobson) radical of R. We study the relation among right FD rings, division rings, commutative rings, right duo rings and simple rings, in relation to matrix rings, polynomial rings and direct products. We prove that if a ring R is right FD and 0 ≠ e2 = e ∈ R then eRe is also right FD, examining that the class of right FD rings is not closed under subrings.
