  • This paper suggests a multi-agent message transport architecture based on the message-oriented middleware ZeroMQ. Compared with the other middlewares such as CORBA, Ice, and Thrift, ZeroMQ receives a good score in the evaluation of performance, QoS (Quality of Service), patterns, user friendliness, and resources. The suggested message transfer architecture borrowed many basic concepts like agent platform, AMS (Agent Management System), and MTS (Message Transfer System) from FIPA (Foundation for Intelligent Physical Agents) standard multi-agent specifications, and the architecture inherited the strength of the architecture from the multi-agent framework SMAF (Smart Multi-Agent Framework). The architecture suggested in this paper is a novel peer-to-peer architecture which is not known to the ZeroMQ community. In the suggested architecture, every MTS agent uses only one ZeroMQ router socket to support peer-to-peer communication among MTS agents. The suggested architecture can support closely collaborating software areas such as intelligent robots as well as the traditional application areas of multi-agent architecture. The suggested architecture has interoperability and scalability with the ZeroMQ devices and patterns.

  • The researcher writes the result of the research in the form of paper. The submitted papers gets careful peer review by the reviewers and used for the development of academic studies after it gets published. There has been numerous debate about the review system, as the review process determines whether the results will be known to academia. In this paper, we investigate the problems in the present review system and propose a open peer review system based on blockchain. The proposed system has an open peer review structure unlike the existing one and ensures fair and in-depth evaluation through transparency. The system also provides a solution to the privacy and capacity problems that may arise from the use of blockchain. Lastly, we implement the proposed peer review system and show the results.

  • Recent studies have convinced that network coding can improve the performance of live media streaming in terms of startup delay, resilience to peer dynamics, as well as reduced bandwidth cost on dedicated streaming servers. However, there still exist some strategy drawbacks and neglected problems which need to be further researched. In addition to the commonly used evaluation parameters of the network and user experiences mentioned above, we focus on additional key factors, playback lag and switch lag, which have not been fully explored in previous work. In this paper, we present SonicStream, a novel and fully implemented live peer to peer (P2P) media streaming system with consideration of rich user experiences, including startup delay, playback continuity, playback lag, switch lag, etc. In pursuit of a further enhanced user experience, we revise traditional peer selection/data scheduling methods. Through a series of experimental evaluations and a cautious comparison with the latest similar work $R^2$, the superior performance of SonicStream has been preliminarily verified.

  • This study compared the cognitive conflict on peer instruction concerning the level of difficulty in question, between middle school science gifted students and non-gifted students. For the study, 35 the 7th grade science-gifted students in the organization affiliated with Science Education Institute for the Gifted in Seoul and Gyeong-gi province, and 14 the 8th grade science-gifted students, and 71 the 8th grade students. They performed peer instruction on propagation of straight light and composition of light and then, discussed three concept problems. After discussing the students took paper pencil test about changing levels of cognitive conflict. Regardless of the level of difficulty in question, the science-gifted students showed meaningful decreased figures on cognitive re-evaluation factors after peer-discussion. They trusted their peers, so during discussion, they explained their concepts. Furthermore discussion process enabled them to do reflective thinking. consequently, discord of students dropped, and total figures of cognitive conflict also declined. Science-gifted students have a tendency to worry lower than general students, though they felt anxiety as difficulty of the problems after peer-discussion. Through peer-discussion, science-gifted students presented statically decreased anxiety factors. By means of analyzed results of changing cognitive conflict of science-gifted students, developing and adapting strategies of cognitive conflict considering learner characteristics of science-gifted students is needed.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the perceptions and difficulties of early childhood teachers about the revised Nuri Curriculum, and to provide basic data for stable operation. 128 early childhood teachers in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province were surveyed, and frequency analysis and chi-square test were performed using the SPSS 27.0 program. As a result of the study, teachers recognized the difference in child evaluation in the Nuri Curriculum and the revised Nuri Curriculum, and recognized the difference in the evaluation method the most. Some of the items on perception showed a significant difference according to the educational experience of teachers. Teachers recognized 'autonomy' as the focus of early childhood evaluation, and at the same time recognized that it was the biggest factor that made child evaluation difficult. The interactive peer-to-peer workshop showed the highest demand for early childhood evaluation. The results of this study will be the basis for finding ways to support teachers in charge of early childhood evaluation in the revised Nuri Curriculum.

  • In spite of the popularity of P2P technology, a multimedia streaming using the P2P technology has been neglected. The reason for this is that the P2P multimedia streaming has suffered from several inherent problems especially poor bandwidth and unreliable connection among peers. We suggest a Multi-Peer Binding Protocol (MPBP) in this paper that provides a virtual single channel composed of multiple connections to several peers to ease these problems. The protocol enables applications to download data from multiple peers simultaneously, so they can achieve throughput improvement and reliable streaming. For this, the MPBP splits media files into small chunks and provides a mechanism for identifying and transmitting each chunk. Implemented MPBP engine focuses on handling an abrupt disconnection from data sending peers and the evaluation result shows the MPBP is able to handle it gracefully. The MPBP is also desisted to support various media types. To verify this, video and audio applications are implemented using the MPBP engine in this paper.

  • This study aims to research the effects of group art therapy program on the self-esteem and peer relationships of children in low-income and single-parent families. It was performed for 24 sessions with Lee Hyeon-Jin's(2006) and Shin Ji-Hye and Kim Gui-Bok's(2009) group art therapy program. The evaluation was performed with Park Mi-Ran's self-esteem questionnaire(2007) and Kim Taehee's peer-relationship questionnaire(2005). The subjects are 26 elementary students in low-income and single parent family who are in the 2, 3, and 4 grade and use A-regional children center and B-regional children center which are located in Gyeongbuk province. Means, standard deviations, Independent t-test and Paired t-test were conducted. Firstly, the change in self-esteem of both experiment group and control group is investigated before and after their taking group art therapy program. There are statistically meaningful enhancements in self-esteem of experimental group. But there are no statistically meaningful enhancements in self-esteem of control group. Secondly, peer-relationships in both experimental group and control group do not change between before and after taking group art therapy program. Thus, the program of group art therapy is thought to be effective therapy improving the self-esteem of child in low-income single-parent family.

  • Purposes of this study were to explore the process of experience that science teachers go through when participating in peer coaching meetings to improve teaching ability and to find out factors that affect each process of experience. The data were collected through recording of peer coaching meetings, videotapes of science class, and interviews. All the data were analyzed after transcription. The results of the study showed that even though Teacher K broke the ice and formed consensus among the peers by developing Content Representation (CoRe) at the beginning of the meetings, he became self-defensive rather than receptive of peers' opinions on the recorded class at the discussion session. But as the peer coaching went on, he realized that peer coaching was not about evaluation but rather on improving his teaching ability. In turn, he was able to look at his teaching in a more objective point of view and accepted suggestions from peer coaching discussion. The self-reflection of Teacher K acted as the key factor in the efforts to improve his teaching ability. He sought the concrete alternatives through the class analysis with fellow teachers and showed major changes in his teaching practice from the language habits, pronunciation, and speed of his speech to the interaction with students and class design. However, there was little change in knowledge of curriculum and assessment due to his strong orientation to improve students' grades as an academic high school teacher. Likewise, it was found that while peer coaching exert a strong influence on instructional methods and strategies of Teacher K, his strong orientation to improve students' grades hinders a balanced development of subcomponents of PCK.
