  • In this paper we consider a Riemann problem, in particular, the case of the presence of the semi-hyperbolic patches arising from a transonic shock in simple waves interaction. Under this circumstance, we construct global solutions of the two-dimensional Riemann problem of the pressure gradient system. We approach the problem as a Goursat boundary value problem and a mixed initial-boundary value problem, where one of the boundaries is the transonic shock.

  • In this paper, using elementary calculus only, we give a simple proof that Green function estimates imply the sharp two-sided pointwise estimates for Poisson kernels for subordinate Brownian motions. In particular, by combining the recent result of Kim and Mimica [5], our result provides the sharp two-sided estimates for Poisson kernels for a large class of subordinate Brownian motions including geometric stable processes.

  • In this paper, we will find some recurrence relations of classical multiple OPS between the same family with different parameters using the generating functions, which are useful to find structure relations and their connection coefficients. In particular, the differential-difference equations of Jacobi-Pineiro polynomials and multiple Bessel polynomials are given.

  • The Galois ring is a finite extension of the ring of integers modulo a prime power. We consider characters on Galois rings. In analogy with finite fields, we investigate complete Gauss sums over Galois rings. In particular, we analyze [1, Proposition 3] and give some lemmas related to [1, Proposition 3].

  • In this paper, we obtain some generalized symmetry identities involving a unified class of polynomials related to the generalized Bernoulli, Euler and Genocchi polynomials of higher-order attached to a Dirichlet character. In particular, we prove a relation between a generalized X version of the power sum polynomials and this unified class of polynomials.

  • In this paper, we investigate the $SP_{\alpha}$-integral and the $M_{\alpha}$-integral defined on an interval of the n-dimensional Euclidean space $\mathbb{R}^n$. In particular, we show that these two integrals are equivalent.

  • The main purpose of this paper is to study differentiable one-parameter groups and cosine families of operators acting on white noise functions and their associated infinitesimal generators. In particular, we prove the heredity of differentiable one-parameter group and cosine family of operators under the second quantization of the Cuchy problems for the first and second or der differential equations.
