Recently route guiding system using GPS is spread widely. In the parking management system of complex mall, RFID is mainly used to control status of parking lots. However, in a case that a vehicle only with RFID tag enters into small market-populated district with service of parking lots, there is no parking route guiding system optimized with information of real tine status of parking lots and the system only with GPS can't provide a function of using real time status of parking lots. This paper proposes a location recognizing method of RFID tag object for parking control system to integrated several parking lots in the business district and database-linked route guiding system optimized for parking. The proposed location recognizing method makes the search of optimized parking route possible by abstracting decoding order of tag and antenna number and recognizing direction of tag linked with database. Ihe implemented system that is composed of RFID tag, reader, middleware, server, parking lot clients and mobile clients shows that the proposed method works well and it will be useful for integrated parking control system.
Purpose The purpose of this study is to develop intelligent vehicle parking distribution system based on LoRa network at the circumstance of traffic congestion during cultural festival in a local city. This paper proposes a parking dispatch and distribution system using a Q-learning algorithm to rapidly disperse traffics that increases suddenly because of in-bound traffics from the outside of a city in the real-time base as well as to increase parking probability in a parking lot which is widely located in a city. Design/methodology/approach The system get information on realtime-base from the sensor network of IoT (LoRa network). It will contribute to solve the sudden increase in traffic and parking bottlenecks during local cultural festival. We applied the simulation system with Queuing model to the Yudeung Festival in Jinju, Korea. We proposed a Q-learning algorithm that could change the learning policy by setting the acceptability value of each parking lot as a threshold from the Jinju highway IC (Interchange) to the 7 parking lots. LoRa Network platform supports to browse parking resource information to each vehicle in realtime. The system updates Q-table periodically using Q-learning algorithm as soon as get information from parking lots. The Queuing Theory with Poisson arrival distribution is used to get probability distribution function. The Dijkstra algorithm is used to find the shortest distance. Findings This paper suggest a simulation test to verify the efficiency of Q-learning algorithm at the circumstance of high traffic jam in a city during local festival. As a result of the simulation, the proposed algorithm performed well even when each parking lot was somewhat saturated. When an intelligent learning system such as an O-learning algorithm is applied, it is possible to more effectively distribute the vehicle to a lot with a high parking probability when the vehicle inflow from the outside rapidly increases at a specific time, such as a local city cultural festival.

Apartment complex, buildings, markets and department stores have inner parking lots which can accept many cars but drivers waste lots of times to find the empty parking spaces in crowding parking lots. In this paper, we proposed the inner parking information support system based on microprocessor which can decrease roaming times to find vacant parking spot in confusing parking lots through notice monitor and provide SMS to make it easy to find parked place. Proposed system consist with RFID system for detecting access of cars, microprocessor system for processing data of checking existence of cars on parking spots and communicating with server, and server system which processes information of cars' in and out, guides empty parking spots and parked location to drivers. Suggested system is realized by handmade model parking lot size of 8 cars, and we confirmed practicality by providing information using parking notice monitor and single message service.

We propose a smart parking space guiding system based on user preferences in a parking lot. This system guides each vehicle to the most suitable parking space in a parking lot to meet the user preferences such as the available parking spaces in the parking zones and the proximity to the destination by exploiting the traffic to each parking zone gathered at the sensors near each guiding display. For this purpose, this paper proposes the cost function for the optimal route guide based on the various user preferences. In addition, the paper reports the design and implementation results of an event based simulator to show the feasibility of the smart parking guidance system.

With the increase in urbanization and automobile demand, urban parking problems have emerged as a serious social issue. In response, research has been conducted to identify parking situations and provide efficient parking information to drivers by utilizing parking lot entry and exit data. This paper preprocesses entry and exit data based on public data to extract parking times and provides expected exit times using the mode value, allowing drivers to anticipate when a vehicle will leave the parking space at their desired parking time. Future research aims to improve the current system by using a real-time parking management system and enhance the accuracy and efficiency of parking space identification.

Nationals Assembly have experiencing unbalance between capacities and demand of parking facilities because of increasing parking demand, free parking policy, long term parking and passenger car use of workers, usage of neighborhood office workers and visitors. The lack of parking facilities cause illegal parking on the street inside and outside of National Assembly which result in the disorder of parking culture. To solve these parking problems, this study suggest parking management system to enter the National Assembly for the short term and charging parking fee, operation by private company, constructing parking building by abrogation of upper limit and construction of ground park, and so on. The study, also, suggested to strengthen weekday or 10 day shift system, to increase shuttle bus and commuting bus, to activation of Han River waterside parking area, public transportation with those new parking management system. For the conclusion, the parking problems of National Assembly should be focused more on parking management than the parking facilities supply.

The parking management system can increase driver's convenience with detailed parking information service in the parking lot. At the same time, parking management system consumes non-negligible electrical energy with large amount of sensors, displays and control modules. With the increase in the demand for green and sustainable building design all over the world, it becomes a meaningful issue for parking management system to reduce operating power. This paper presents the preliminary design and estimated results of a parking management system which is optimized to reduce the power consumption mainly on detectors and displays. The system design is based on pre-developed wireless parking detectors, Park Tile and Park Disk. The system has a number of parking space detectors, vehicle count detectors, information displays, guidance terminals and other control units. We have performed system architecture design, communication network design, parking information service scenario planning, battery life regulation and at last operating power estimation. The estimated operating power was 0.93KW per parking-slot, which is 20% of traditional systems. The estimated annual maintenance cost was 18% of traditional systems.

The parking area for the disabled is a parking facility for the pedestrian disabled and is a parking space for securing pedestrian safety passage for the disabled. However, due to the lack of social awareness of areas for the disabled, the use of parking areas is restricted, and violations such as illegal parking and obstruction of parking are increasing every year. Therefore, in this study, we propose a system to crack down on illegal parking in handicapped parking areas using the YOLOv5 model, a deep learning object recognition model to improve parking interference within parking spaces.

Recently, autonomous parking problems have attracted a great deal of attention and have been examined in many papers in the literature. In this paper we design a fuzzy logic based parking system which is an important part for designing an autonomous parking system. We first analysis the existed papers and design a single-input fuzzy logic system for the parking algorithm and illustrate the effectiveness of the new method via the simulation results.

Recently, the number of illegal parking is increasing as the number of cars are increasing. Especially, people who use residential parking permit program are in trouble because of illegal parking. The most typical example is that people who use residential parking permit are damaged in expense, etc and various social issues such as legal actions are caused by illegal parking. In this paper, we discuss about the arduino design for the system and uploading the location information to use the location information for a parking system.
