대학생의 외향성, 경험에의 개방성과 창의성이 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향 -창의성의 매개효과를 중심으로- (Undergraduate Student's Extraversion, Openness to Experience, Creativity and School Adjustment: The Mediating Role of Creativity)

  • This study investigated the manner in which extraversion, openness to experience and creativity related to school adjustment and explored the mediating role of creativity in extraversion-school adjustment and openness to experience-school adjustment relationships. The participants of this study were 258 undergraduate students from around the capital city and Pusan Greater Metropolitan area. The results revealed that extraversion related positively to openness to experience, creativity and school adjustment. Openness to experience related positively to creativity and school adjustment and creativity related positively to school adjustment. Furthermore, creativity was found to mediate the effects of openness to experience on school adjustment. The influence of openness to experience on school adjustment occurred indirectly through the facilitation of creativity. The importance of extraversion, openness to experience and creativity to predict undergraduate student's school adjustment is also discussed.

  • Purpose: This study was performed to evaluate the influence of field practice on subjective well-being and domains of life satisfaction in paramedic students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 143 paramedic students from March 5 to 31, 2016. The questionnaire consisted of subjective wellbeing, openness to experience, and domains of life satisfaction. The statistical analysis was done with SPSS/WIN 22.0. Results: The number of field practice had a lesser influence on degree of life satisfaction and positive emotions. Field practice did not influence negative emotions. Those who were open to experience tended to have higher degrees of personal satisfaction and competence irrespective of field practice. Conclusion: Openness to experience can enhance the life satisfaction and competence against the stressful conditions paramedic students experience in field practice.

외식업체 종사원의 성격이 이직의도에 미치는 영향 - 직무만족의 매개효과를 중심으로 - (Foodservice Employees' Big 5 and Its Impact on Turnover Intention - Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Job Satisfaction -)

  • In this study, the influence of sub-factors of Big Five personality (extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, openness to experience) to job satisfaction and turnover intention, and mediating effect of job satisfaction between Big Five personality and turnover intention were empirically analysed. Also the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention was investigated. The sample of this study were customer-contact employees of restaurant among Youngnam province. 243 questionnaires were used for the empirical analyses. According to the empirical analysis results, openness to experience and conscientiousness respectively had positive influences to job satisfaction and turnover intention. Also neuroticism gave negative influence to turnover intention. Another research finding of this study was that mediating effect of job satisfaction existed in the causal relationship of 'openness to experience' and conscientiousness to turnover intention. Managerial implications of the research findings are that restaurant managers are recommended to select employees of having much of conscientiousness and 'openness to experience', and to employ those of having much of agreeableness. In the field of restaurant industry, training is very important for employees to foster these personalities, because this industry does not have environment of hiring employees of having much of these personalities. Also training can be applied to employees of having high neuroticism for minimizing their turnover intention.

외식 산업 종사자의 성격 특성과 직업 선호도와의 관계 (The Relationship between Personality Traits and Job Preference in Foodservice Industry)

  • This study verified the relationship between the personality traits and the job preference in the foodservice industry. Questionnaire was held with targeting to the persons who engage in the foodservice industry, especially restaurants located in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. Factor analysis, regression analysis, t-analysis and dispersion analysis were carried out as the methodology of this study to analyze the relation with the Big Five Theory of Personality, which includes agreeableness, conscientiousness, extraversion, openness to experience, and neuroticism and job preference. As a result, conscientiousness, openness to experience and neuroticism were founded as the meaningful factors of effect on the job preference. In order to promote the job preference in the foodservice industry, engagement of employees who have suitable personality traits should be considered as an important issue in result of this study.

집단지성 발현의 선행요인 검토 (An Examination of Preconditions for the Creation of Collective Intelligence)

  • 본 연구는 기존 연구들에서 언급된 집단지성 발현의 선행요인들을 검증함으로써 관련분야 발전에 기여하는 것을 연구 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 집단지성 발현의 선행요건으로 과업의 복잡성과 의미성, 다양성, 경험에 대한 개방성, 커뮤니케이션 독립성, 의사결정의 분권화, ICT(Information and Communication Technologies) 활용을 검토하였다. 연구가설 검증을 위해 연구개발 사업부에 속한 구성원을 대상으로 200부의 설문지를 배포하였고, 회수된 198부 중에서 불성실한 13개를 제외한 185개의 데이터를 최종 분석하였다. 분석결과, 과업의 의미성, 경험에 대한 개방성, 의사결정 분권화, ICT활용이 각각 집단지성 발현에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 그리고 지각된 비유사성과 가치 다양성은 각각 집단지성 발현에 부정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 모든 변수들을 함께 고려했을 때, ICT 활용, 과업의 의미, 경험에 대한 개방성, 인지된 비유사성과 가치 다양성 순서로 집단지성 발현에 영향을 미치는 것을 발견하였다. 본 연구결과의 이론 및 실무적 시사점은 토의부분에서 자세히 분석하였다.

영재교육에 있어 성격 5요인의 자기조절학습 및 학업성취도 예측에 관한 연구 (Influence of Big Five Personality on Self-Regulation Learning and Achievement in Gifted Education)

  • 본 연구는 질 높은 영재교육을 제공하기 위해 영재의 성격 5요인의 요소인 개방성, 성실성, 외향성, 수용성 및 신경증이 영재교육의 성과인 자기조절학습과 학업성취도를 예측하는 지를 밝히고자 하였다. 본 연구는 경기도 A영재교육원 학생 95명을 대상으로 진행하였다. 영재의 개방성, 성실성, 외향성, 수용성, 신경증, 자기조절학습 및 학업성취도간의 관계를 살펴본 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영재의 수용성, 개방성, 성실성 순으로 자기조절학습을 유의하게 예측하였다. 둘째, 영재의 신경증, 자기조절학습 및 외향성 순으로 학업성취도를 유의하게 예측하였다. 셋째, 학업성취도에 유의한 예측력을 보이지 않은 영재의 개방성, 성실성, 수용성은 자기조절학습을 매개로 학업성취도에 대한 예측력이 유의한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 따라서 영재교육에서는 영재의 성격 5요인을 관리할 수 있는 프로그램을 통하여 영재교육의 성과인 자기조절학습과 학업성취도를 높여 나가야 할 것이다.

The Effect of Personality Traits on Employee Job Satisfaction with Moderating Role of Islamic Work Ethics

  • Personality factors and ethical values are considered as vital element in social and professional life. This present research aims to explore the relationship between Personality and Job Satisfaction. Further, we tried to test the moderating effect of Islamic work ethics (IWE) in the relationship of Personality traits with Job satisfaction. Convenience sampling was used in defining sample as in Pakistan there is no data base which provides information regarding number of employees. Due to moderating variable the data has been collected from respondents who identify themselves as Muslim. To collect data from respondents Self-administered, close-ended questionnaires and e-questionnaire were used in this study and respondents were targeted in the normal working environment. Correlation and regression analysis was used to analyze the data statistically. The results of study indicated that neuroticism exhibits significant negative effect on job s atisfaction. Also, openness to experience, agreeableness and conscientiousness showed positive effect on job satisfaction. Whereas, extraversion exhibits no effect on job satisfaction and IWE has a negative effect on job satisfaction. However, the output indicates that IWE do not act as moderator in the relation of agreeableness and conscientiousness with job satisfaction moderation effect of IWE is observed between the relationship of neuroticism, extraversion and openness to experience with job satisfaction.

기혼남성의 혼외관계 경험과 관련변인 연구 (A Study on extramarital involvement of Married Men and the related variables)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the trends and related variables of extramarital involvement among married men. Subjects were 248 married men who completed a questionnaire about the concept of extramarital involvement, extramarital sexual experience, demographic variables, personal variables(self esteem, impulsiveness and openness), marital variables(marital satisfaction and sexual satisfaction). The results are as follows; First, there was no significant difference between the group who thought extramarital involvement meant intimate relationship including sexual intercourse and the group who did not. Second, rate of married men who had engaged in extramarital involvement was higher by 19.0 percentage points than rate of those who had not. Third, results of logistic regression analysis showed that marital period, impulsiveness, openness, marital satisfaction, and sexual satisfaction influenced men's extramarital sexual experience. Among these variables, sexual satisfaction proved to be the most influencing factor.

간호대학생의 성격특성과 의사결정유형이 셀프리더십에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Personality Characteristics and Decision Making Type on Self-Leadership of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to examine the effects of personality characteristics and decision making type on the self-leadership of nursing students. Methods: The participants were 336 nursing students using a self-report questionnaire. Data were analyzed using a t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: There were significant positive correlations between self-leadership and extraversion (r=.50, p<.001), agreeableness (r=.22, p<.001), conscientiousness (r=.60, p<.001), openness to experience (r=.36, p<.001), and rational style (r=.47, p<.001). However the correlation between self-leadership and dependent style was significantly negative (r=-.11, p=.044). Conscientiousness (${\beta}$=.60, p<.001), extraversion (${\beta}$=.28, p<.001), and rational style (${\beta}$=.21, p<.001), openness to experience (${\beta}$=.18, p<.001), and degree of leadership level (${\beta}$=.10, p=.020) were identified as factors affecting self-leadership. The explanation power of this regression model was 50.0% and it was statistically significant (F=67.52, p<.001). Conclusion: The results of this study indicated that effective self-leadership programs should be developed by including conscientiousness, extraversion, openness to experience, and rational decision making.

홀로그램 미디어와 경험을 유도하는 소비자 성격과 동기의 융합연구 (Converged Study of Influencing Consumer Factors on Hologram Media Experience)

  • 본 연구는 그간 기술적 관점에서만 다루어진 홀로그램 미디어 연구와는 달리, 광고 미디어로서의 가능성을 소비자 커뮤니케이션 측면에서 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 미디어 경험을 유도하는 소비자의 동기와 성격특성을 선행변인으로 설정하여 SNS 구전의도와 구매의도에 미치는 영향을 구조적으로 살펴보았다. 연구결과 소비자의 내재적 동기와 사회적 동기 모두 미디어 경험과 SNS 구전의도, 구매의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 성격특성의 경우, 개방성은 동기에, 외향성과 개방성은 SNS 구전의도에 정(+)의 영향력을 가지고 있었다. 또한 SNS 구전의도는 구매의도에 긍정적인 영향력을 보여주었다. 이는 미디어 믹스 전략 또는 IMC 전략의 필요성을 확인시켜주는 결과라 할 수 있다.
