  • A Robot system to realize a painting using a writing brush is explained here. Based on the three-dimensional data about the target china, the movements of the writing brush is determined. The movement is realized by the movement of two robot manipulators which move coordinatedly. Experimental results reveals the applicability of one system.

  • In this paper, we address the swing up control and the singular problem of an acrobot. We derive a serial system equation from the acceleration constraint that there is no actuator on the first joint. Based on the serial system representation, we propose a swing up and stabilization control algorithm to move the acrobot from its downward equilibrium to its inverted equilibrium position. Simulation result is also provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

  • In this study SOI MOSFET model of the structure with 4-terminals and 3-interfaces is proposed. An SOI MOSFET is modeled with the equivalent circuit considered the interface capacitances. Parameters of SOI MOSFET device are extracted, and the electrical characteristics due to back-bias change is simulated. In SOI-MOSFET model device we describe the characteristics of threshold voltage, subthreshold slope, maxium electrical field and drain currents in the front channel when the back channel condition move into accmulation, depletion, and inversion regions respectively.

  • A pebbling move on a connected graph G is taking two pebbles off of one vertex and placing one of them on an adjacent vertex. The domination cover pebbling number ${\psi}(G)$ is the minimum number of pebbles required so that any initial configuration of pebbles can be transformed by a sequence of pebbling moves so that the set of vertices that contain pebbles forms a domination set of G. We determine the domination cover pebbling number for fans, fuses, and pseudo-star.

  • In a warehouse, plates listed in the different orders are placed mixed. Nevertheless, when plates are going out, a group of plates listed in the same order should be sequentially loaded on a transporter. Since the access to the plates is only from the top of the stack, it happens often that we have to move some plates on a temporary place in order to access a plate below them. This paper deals with a problem of sequencing orders for transportation to minimize the number of plates temporarily moved.

  • A simple linear model to test the hypothesis based on one-on-one relationship has been used to find the causative factors of diseases. However, we now know that not just one, but many factors from different systems such as chemical exposure, genes, epigenetic changes, and proteins are involved in the pathogenesis of chronic diseases such as diabetes mellitus. So, with availability of modern technologies to understand the intricate nature of relations among complex systems, we need to move forward to the future by taking complex systems model.

  • Gaze detection is to locate the position on a monitor screen where a user is looking at. We implement it by a computer vision system setting a camera above a monitor, and a user move (rotates and or translates) her face to gaze at a different position on the monitor. Up to now, we have tried several different approaches and among them the Two Neural Network approach shows the best result which is described in this paper (1.7 inch error for test data including facial rotation. 3.1 inch error for test data including facial rotation and translation).

  • current mine detector can't division the section if it is conducted and it needs too much labor force and time. in addition to, if the user don't move the head of sensor in regular speed or move it too fast, it is hard to detect a mine exactly. according to this, to improve the problem using one direction ultrasonic wave sensing signal, that is made up of human body antenna part, main micro processor unit part, smart glasses part, body equipped LCD monitor part, wireless data transmit part, belt type power supply part, black box type camera, Security Communication headset. the user can equip this at head, body, arm, waist and leg in removable type. so it is able to detect the powder in a 360-degree on(under) the ground whether it is metal or nonmetal and it can express the 2D or 3D film about distance, form and material of the mine. so the battle combats can avoid the mine and move fast. also, through the portable battery and twin self power supply system of the power supply part, combat troops can fight without extra recharge and we can monitoring the battle situation of distant place at the command center server on real-time. and then, it makes able to sharing the information of battle among battle combats one on one. as a result, the purpose of this study is researching a smart wearable mine detector which can establish a smart battle system as if the commander is in the site of the battle.

  • Until recently as a method of repairing leaking problem, generally urethane series were used for many structures as subway, box culvert etc. However the lacking of sufficient penetration capacity have made it difficult to repair such structures completely. Now, we could achieve enhanced quality of repairing work by using new material which was compounded of urethane series and cement series properly. This material can penetrate concrete structure efficiently and move interactively with the structure in case of the thermal expansion. Besides of this, we could prevent expecting leakage through several improvements on the aspects of design, materials and site implementation.

  • In this paper, we handle automatic estimation of mechanical parameters for mobile robots. Most estimation methods are based on the sequence and move-measurement-estimation. Estimated accuracy is largely dependent on the paths. Mathematical conditions minimizing estimation errors are derived, and then a method finding optimal paths for mechanical parameters estimation is proposed.
