경피적 관상동맥중재술을 받은 노인의 삶의 만족도 영향 요인 (Factors Influencing Life Satisfaction of Elderly Patients after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)

  • Purpose: This study investigated the degree of stress, depression, mindfulness and life satisfaction of elderly patients who had undergone percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and identified factors influencing life satisfaction. Methods: Participants were 106 patients over 60 years who had undergone PCI in a university hospital. Results: The mean scores for stress, depression, mindfulness, and life satisfaction were $9.10{\pm}2.53$, $7.77{\pm}3.32$, $88.57{\pm}8.47$, and $17.40{\pm}5.38$ respectively. There were statistically significant differences in life satisfaction by main source of income (F = 4.74, p = .004) and perceived health status as compared with peer (F = 4.80, p = .010). Depression (p < .001) explained 38 % of the total variance of life satisfaction, and the explanatory power increased to 42 % when mindfulness (p = .035) was added. There were significant correlations among stress, depression, mindfulness and life satisfaction of the patients. Conclusions: Depression and mindfulness were significant influencing factors on subjects' satisfaction in life. To enhance the life satisfaction of the elderly patients after PCI, it is necessary to reduce depression and to develop mindfulness-based interventions.

요양병원 간호사의 감정노동, 직무 스트레스 및 전문직 삶의 질 (Emotional Labor, Job Stress and Professional Quality of Life among Nurses in Long-term Care Hospital)

  • Purpose: This study was aimed to identify the level of emotional labor, job stress and professional quality of life and to identify the factors affecting on professional quality of life among nurses in long-term care hospitals. Methods: 136 nurses working at eight different long-term care hospitals were recruited from May 1 to June 30, 2016. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and stepwise multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 22.0. Results: Professional quality of life is consisted of three subcategories as compassion satisfaction, secondary traumatic stress and burn-out. As for the factors affecting on compassion satisfaction, age, satisfaction on working ward and shift pattern of duties were significant factors. The three variables' explanation power on compassion satisfaction was 25.0%. As for factors affecting on secondary traumatic stress, emotional labor was a significant factor. The emotional labor's explanation power on secondary traumatic stress was 13.0%. Factors affecting on burn-out, emotional labor, age, and health condition were significant factors. The three variables' explanation power on burnout is 31.0%. Conclusion: On the basis of results, program development are required to relieve emotional labor and job stress for nurses at long-term care hospitals and to improve their professional quality of life.

요양보호사의 환자안전행위에 관한 영향요인 (Influencing Factors on Patient Safety Behaviors of Care Workers in Long Term Care Facilities)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing care workers' patient safety behaviors (PSB), we hoped to provide baseline data for its activation. Methods: The subjects of this study were chosen by convenience sampling, which included 114 care workers at long term care facilities. Data were collected from August 22 to October 10, 2018. The gathered data were analyzed using the SPSS program, which was used to Cronbach's alpha, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise regression. Results: The care workers' average PSB was at 7.81 points, patient safety culture (PSC) 3.86 points and safety of long-term care facilities 7.07. PSB positively correlated with safety of facilities(r=.802, p<.001) and PSC(r=.558, p<.001). Work attitude and satisfaction of job were explained 35.1% of the PSB. Conclusion: Administrators of long term care facilities should be interested in patient safety culture and improving job satisfaction of care workers in order to improve patient safety behaviors.

중환자실 간호사의 직무스트레스와 건강상태에 관한 연구 (A Study on Job Stress and the Health Status of ICU Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was to investigate Job Stress and the Health status of ICU Nurses. Methods: Data was accumulated from 230 ICU nurses serving at least more than one year in 500 bed order hospitals during the period of three months from June 1 to August 31, 2009. Results: The average job stress was $3.14{\pm}.59$ points, which was relatively high, The average health status was $1.52{\pm}.19$ points, There was significant difference according to religion and subjective health status in Job Stress, There was significant difference according to age, religion and subjective health status in Health Status, There was significant difference according to satisfaction of work, satisfaction of personal relations, impulse to give up duty and in service education in Job Stress, There was significant difference according to satisfaction of work. satisfaction of personal relations, and expectant nursing job in Health Status, There was significantly negative relationship between job stress and health status. Conclusion: Job stress has the most important impact on health status of ICU nurses, Based on the finding, we could conclude that job stress management of ICU nurses should be required to improve health status.

의치관리 실습프로그램이 노인의 의치자가관리, 만족도 및 구강건강관련 삶의 질에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Denture Care Skills Education Program on Denture Self-care, Denture Satisfaction and Oral Health-related Quality of Life (OHIP-14) among the Elderly)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of denture care skills education program on denture self-care, denture satisfaction and subjective oral status among the elderly. Methods: The research design for this study was a non-equivalent control group quasi-experimental design. Total 61 elderly who visited a seniors center, Seoul, Korea, participated in this study. Participants were 31 elderly for the experimental group and 30 elderly for the control group. The experimental group received a lesson in denture care skills education program which was developed by the researchers. Using a structural questionnaire, the elderly's perception about denture self-care, denture satisfaction and subjective oral status were measured before and after the intervention. Descriptive statistics, independent t-test, chi-square test, and ANCOVA test were performed using SPSS WIN 21.0. Results: The experimental group showed significantly higher scores in denture satisfaction(p<.001), QOL of oral health(<.001), concern for oral health(p=.005), subjective oral health status(p<.001), bad breath(p=.010), oral dryness(p<.001) and number of denture clearing(p<.001). Conclusion: The results suggest that the denture care skills education program for elderly at a senior center was effective. Further work is required to develop more effective denture care skills education programs and an oral health promotion program to improve the health status of the elderly.

노인장기요양기관에 근무하는 간호사의 근무실태 및 직무만족도 영향 요인 (A Study on Working Conditions and Factors Related to Job Satisfaction of Nurses in the Long-term Care facilities for the Elderly)

  • Purpose: Th study is to explore the working conditions and factors related to job satisfaction of nurses in long-term care facilities for the elderly. Methods: A total of 127 nurses working long-term care facilities, from June to November 2014, completed questionnaires. Face to face interviews were conducted. The questionnaire consists of a total of 32 questions, including 5 questions related to general characteristics, 15 questions related to working conditions, and 12 questions related to job satisfaction(likert scale of 1 to 5). Results: The majority of nurses were employed in institutional care facilities, in urban area, and in privately owned facilities. On average, employed nurses worked 170.7 hours per month. Only 40.9% of them got more than two million won for their monthly salary. They were satisfied with the nature and worth of their work and the workplace relationship, but not with their wages and promotion opportunity 40.2% of nurses reported satisfaction with job. In multiple logistic regression analysis, age was a statistically significant influencing factor on general job satisfaction. Conclusion: The findings suggest that policies must be to improve nurses' working conditions, for wages, and to support them with education and training for skills development.

요양보호사의 직무환경이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향: 직무만족의 매개효과 검증 (The Effect of Care-workers Work Environment on Organizational Commitment: The Mediation Effects of Job Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 요양보호사의 직무환경이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 이를 토대로 직무만족의 매개효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 자료수집은 경기지역 노인요양시설을 중심으로 요양보호사 300명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였고, 회수되지 않은 설문지와 이상치를 제거하고 최종 267명을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS WIN 23.0, PROCESS Macro V3.5를 통해 결과를 도출하였고, 직무만족의 매개효과 검증을 위해 Hayes(2013)의 Macro Model Number 4를 적용하였다. 분석결과, 요양보호사의 직무환경이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에서 직무만족 변인의 부분매개효과를 확인하였다. 분석결과를 토대로 요양보호사의 직무환경 개선과 직무만족 증가를 위한 실천적·정책적 제언과 본 연구의 한계를 극복하기 위해 후속 연구를 제안했다.

일반병동, 포괄간호서비스병동, 안심병동 간호사의 직무만족도, 업무스트레스, 이직의도 비교연구 (Comparative Study for the Clinical Nurses' Work Satisfaction, Job Stress and Turnover Intention - in General ward, Comprehensive nursing care service ward, and Anshim unit)

  • 본 연구는 시범사업중에 있는 포괄간호서비스병동, 안심병동 간호사의 직무만족도, 업무스트레스, 이직의도를 파악하고 이를 일반병동간호사와 비교하여 이 제도의 향후 방안을 모색하는 정책에 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도되었다. 연구대상은 2013년도 위의 병동을 시범운영하고 있는 서울의 병원 2곳과 경기지역 병원 1곳의 간호사였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 직무만족도, 업무스트레스 및 이직의도는 일반병동, 포괄간호서비스병동, 안심병동 간호사 간의 유의한 차이는 없었다. 일반적 특성에 따른 직무만족도의 차이는 포괄간호서비스병동의 연령에서, 최종학력은 일반병동에서, 현 부서근무기간은 안심병동에서만 차이가 있었다. 현재근무병동만족도는 세 유형 모두 유의한 차이를 보였다. 업무스트레스는 일반병동에서 최종학력이 차이가 있었고 이직의도의 경우 일반병동에서 연령군 및 현직위에 따른 차이를 보였다. 총근무기간과 현재 근무병동만족도에 따른 차이에서는 세 병동 모두에서 유의한 차이가 있었다.

요양원 종사자의 감정노동, 소진이 직무스트레스 및 직무만족에 미치는 영향 : 치매환자 돌봄 경험을 중심으로 (The Effects of Emotional Labor, Burnout on Job Stress and Job Satisfaction of Nursing Home Workers : Focusing on Care Experience of Dementia Patients)

  • 치매환자는 꾸준히 증가하는 추세로 사회적 문제로 대두되고 있으며, 환자들에게 서비스를 제공하는 자들에 대한 처우의 관심도 증가하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 치매환자를 돌보는 요양원 종사자의 돌봄 경험을 살펴보고, 그들의 감정노동, 소진이 직무스트레스와 만족에 미치는 영향과 돌봄 경험의 조절효과를 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 요양병원 종사자의 돌봄 경험은 초기 간호사 마음가짐, 초기 간호수행(돌봄)시 치매환자에 대한 인식, 업무수행(돌봄)과정의 애로사항, 돌봄 과정에서 생기는 신체적 정신적 한계, 업무수행(돌봄)과정의 만족, 치매환자 간호수행(돌봄)을 통한 경험, 개인적 삶에 대한 마음가짐의 변화로 나타났다. 둘째, 감정노동과 소진은 직무스트레스에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 이 과정에서 돌봄 경험은 감정노동과 소진이 직무 스트레스에 미치는 영향을 유의하게 조절(완화)하는 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 직무 스트레스와 직무 만족 간의 관계는 지지되었다.

사회적 지지의 특성에 따른 뇌졸중 환자의 우울 (The Relationship between the Characteristics of Social Support and Post-Stroke Depression)

  • The effect s of social support on post-stroke depression were investigated. Social support was classified into three categories : primary caregiver's, significant other's, and professional support. And primary caregiver's and significant other's support were divided into their relation, living state (which means they living together or not), frequency which they met at, and perceived satisfaction about the support, respectively. Professional support was divided into number of professionals who take care of, frequency they met at, and perceived satisfaction. The subjects were 254 stroke patients who had been discharged and were taken follow-up care at the out patient department. The depression was measured using CES-D. Out of the primary caregiver's support, only relation and perceived satisfaction were identified to affect the post-stroke depression. The patients who primarily their spouse takes care of were less depressed than those who their adult children take care of. None of the significant other's support affects the post-stroke depression. Only perceived satisfaction of the professional support was found to affect the post-stroke depression. So it was found that the quality, not the amount, of care was important to post-stroke depression. These results also support the claim that the facilities and teaching programs for primary caregivers are necessary.
