  • The purpose of this paper is to introduce and study a method for solving the split equality of variational inequality and f, g-fixed point problems in reflexive real Banach spaces, where the variational inequality problems are for uniformly continuous pseudomonotone mappings and the fixed point problems are for Bregman relatively f, g-nonexpansive mappings. A strong convergence theorem is proved under some mild conditions. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm.

  • Let E be a uniformly convex Banach space and K a nonempty closed convex subset which is also a nonexpansive retract of E. For i = 1, 2, 3, let $T_i:K{\rightarrow}E$ be an asymptotically nonexpansive mappings with sequence ${\{k_n^{(i)}\}\subset[1,{\infty})$ such that $\sum_{n-1}^{\infty}(k_n^{(i)}-1)$ < ${\infty},\;k_{n}^{(i)}{\rightarrow}1$, as $n{\rightarrow}\infty$ and F(T)=$\bigcap_{i=3}^3F(T_i){\neq}{\phi}$ (the set of all common xed points of $T_i$, i = 1, 2, 3). Let {$a_n$},{$b_n$} and {$c_n$} are three real sequences in [0, 1] such that $\in{\leq}\;a_n,\;b_n,\;c_n\;{\leq}\;1-\in$ for $n{\in}N$ and some ${\in}{\geq}0$. Starting with arbitrary $x_1{\in}K$, define sequence {$x_n$} by setting {$$x_{n+1}=P((1-a_n)x_n+a_nT_1(PT_1)^{n-1}y_n)$$ $$y_n=P((1-b_n)x_n+a_nT_2(PT_2)^{n-1}z_n)$$ $$z_n=P((1-c_n)x_n+c_nT_3(PT_3)^{n-1}x_n)$$. Assume that one of the following conditions holds: (1) E satises the Opial property, (2) E has Frechet dierentiable norm, (3) $E^*$ has Kedec -Klee property, where $E^*$ is dual of E. Then sequence {$x_n$} converges weakly to some p${\in}$F(T).

  • In this paper, we consider an implicit iterative process with errors for an in nite family of strict pseudocontractions. Strong convergence theorems are established in the framework of Banach spaces. The results presented in this paper improve and extend the recent ones announced by many others.

  • Let X be a uniformly convex Banach space, and S, T be pair of mean nonexpansive mappings. Some necessary and sufficient conditions are given for Ishikawa iterative sequence converge to common fixed points, and we prove that the sequence of Ishikawa iterations associated with S and T converges to the common fixed point of S and T. This generalizes former results proved by Z. Gu and Y. Li [4].

  • The existence, uniqueness and iterative approximation of solutions for a few classes of functional equations arising in dynamic programming of multistage decision processes are discussed. The results presented in this paper extend, improve and unify the results due to Bellman [2, 3], Bhakta-Choudhury [6], Bhakta-Mitra [7], and Liu [12].

  • In this paper, we propose a new iterative algorithm generated by a finite family of accretive operators in a q-uniformly smooth Banach space. We prove the strong convergence of the proposed iterative algorithm. The results presented in this paper are interesting extensions and improvements of known results of Qin et al. [Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2014(2014): 166], Kim and Xu [Nonlinear Anal. 61(2005), 51-60] and Benavides et al. [Math. Nachr. 248(2003), 62-71].

  • In this paper, we study the ∆-convergence and strong convergence of SP-iteration scheme involving a nonexpansive mapping in partially ordered hyperbolic metric spaces. Also, we give an example to support our main result and compare SP-iteration scheme with the Mann iteration and Ishikawa iteration scheme. Thus, we generalize many previous results.

  • In this paper, we introduce and consider a new system of relaxed cocoercive variational inequalities involving three different operators and the concept of projective nonexpansive mapping. Base on the projection technique, we suggest two kinds of new iterative methods for the approximate solvability of this system. The results presented in this paper extend and improve the main results of [S.S. Chang, H.W.J. Lee, C.K. Chan, Generalized system for relaxed co coercive variational inequalities in Hilbert spaces, Appl. Math. Lett. 20 (2007) 329-334] and [Z. Huang, M. • The purpose of this paper is to study the solvability of the equation (E). In Section 2, we give preliminary definitions. In Section 3, we prove related two results (Theorem 1 and Corollary 1) concerning the closedness property of accretive operators in the class of spaces whose nonempty bounded closed convex subsets have the fixed point property for nonexpansive self-mapping. Using therem 1, we derive a result (Theorem 2) on the range of accetive operators in (.pi.)$_{1}$ spaces with a view to establishing a new result, which improves a result of Kartsatos [8] and Webb [15]. Further, we give an interesting consequence (Corollary 3) of Theorem 2. In section 4, we apply Corollary 1 to obtain two results (Theorem 3 and 4) for the range of sums of two accretive operators, which generalize two results of Reich [12].
