A Mixture of Multivariate Distributions with Pareto in Reliability Models

  • This paper presents a new class of multivariate distributions with Pareto where dependence among the components is characterized by a latent random variable. The new class includes several multivariate and bivariate models of Marshall and Olkin type. It is found the bivariate distribution with Pareto is positively quadrant dependent and its mixture. Some important structural properties of the bivariate distributions with Pareto are discussed. The distribution of minimum in a competing risk Pareto model is derived.

  • Fuzzy techniques can be applied in many domains of computer vision community. The definition of an adequate similarity measure for measuring the similarity between fuzzy sets is of great importance in the field of image processing, image retrieval and pattern recognition. This paper proposes a new class of the similarity measures. The properties, sensitivity and effectiveness of the proposed measures are investigated and tested on real data. Experimental results show that these similarity measures can provide a useful way for measuring the similarity between fuzzy sets.

  • In this paper, we introduce and study a new class of random completely generalized nonlinear variational inclusions with non-compact valued random mappings and construct some new iterative algorithms. We prove the existence of random solutions for this class of random variational inclusions and the convergence of random iterative sequences generated by the algorithms.

  • In the present investigation we consider Fekete-Szeg$\ddot{o}$ problem with complex parameter ${\mu}$ and also find upper bound of the second Hankel determinant ${\mid}a_2a_4-a^2_3{\mid}$ for functions belonging to a new class $S^{\tau}_{\gamma}(A,B)$ using Toeplitz determinants.

  • In this paper, we introduce a new class of generalized Apostol-type Frobenius-Euler-Hermite polynomials and derive some explicit and implicit summation formulae and symmetric identities by using different analytical means and applying generating functions. These results extend some known summations and identities of generalized Frobenius-Euler type polynomials and Hermite-based Apostol-Euler and Apostol-Genocchi polynomials studied by Pathan and Khan, Kurt and Simsek.

  • In this present investigation, we introduce a new class of harmonic univalent functions of the form $f=h+{\bar{g}}$ in the open unit disk ${\Delta}$. We get basic properties, like, necessary and sufficient convolution conditions, distortion bounds, compactness and extreme points for these classes of functions.

  • In this paper, we introduce and study the concept of a new class of sets called paraopen sets and paraclosed sets in topological spaces. During this process some of their properties are obtained. Also we introduce and investigate a new class of maps called paracontinuous, *-paracontinuous, parairresolute, minimal paracontinuous and maximal paracontinuous maps and study their basic properties in topological spaces.

  • In this paper, we investigate a new subclass $S^{{\varphi},{\lambda}}_{{\Sigma}_m}$ of ${\Sigma}_m$ consisting of analytic and m-fold symmetric bi-univalent functions satisfying subordination in the open unit disk U. We consider the Fekete-$Szeg{\ddot{o}}$ inequalities for this class. Also, we establish estimates for the coefficients for this subclass and several related classes are also considered and connections to earlier known results are made.
