  • In this study, we conduct an exploratory analysis of the MovieLens data, which is frequently used in many recommender system researches, to examine the detailed characteristics of the data. Also, we seek alternatives to improve the well-known neural collaborative filtering (NCF) method. NCF improved matrix factorization method by using deep neural networks in recommender systems. We devise, generalized NCF (G-NCF), a variant of NCF and test the performances. The G-NCF we propose shows superior characteristics on average performance across key evaluation metrics, compared to the NCF, but it also has a slightly larger variance in the evaluation metrics. Evaluation metrics such as MAP and nDCG were considered for comparison.

  • Recently, the fire rescue truck in problem proceed research it for the fast works action and for pass the small road. So we were research for weight reduction. In this study, the (NO. 5) fifth boom of the fire rescue truck have 288 mm(W) × 299 mm(D) × 3,691 mm(L) with a maximum load of 876 kg and the thickness of 3 mm of the Steel Boom. This changing of Steel (STRENX960) to CFRP was weave Carbon Fiber NCF (±45°, 2axis) and then it make the NCF Prepreg. This process was designed based on structural analysis, the effects of NCF Prepreg (±45°) on torsion were identified, and the optimal design was made with Stacking Pattern (b). Stack patterns were optimized for levels equal or higher than existing Steel Boom and CFRP Boom stacked in the UD direction, and finally, the lightening effect on weight of approximately 49.6% of the steel was identified.

  • The electromigration (EM) tests were performed at $150^{\circ}C$ with $1.5{\times}10^5A/cm^2$ conditions in order to investigate the effect of non-conductive film (NCF) trap on the electrical reliability of Cu/Ni/Sn-Ag microbumps. The EM failure time of Cu/Ni/Sn-Ag microbump with NCF trap was around 8 times shorter than Cu/Ni/Sn-Ag microbump without NCF trap. From systematic analysis on the electrical resistance and failed interfaces, the trapped NCF-induced voids at the Sn-Ag/Ni-Sn intermetallic compound interface lead to faster EM void growth and earlier open failure.

Studies on Congenital Focal Gliosis in the Brains of Normal Piglets (정상자돈 뇌의 신경교세포 집단출현에 관한 연구)

  • Attempts of these studies were made to investigate the nonspecific congenital focal accumulation of ectodermal glial cells in the brain of normal piglets. The brain samples were taken from 1-,10-,20-,35-,45- and 70-day-old piglets from a SPF-pig farm and three model pig farms. Occurrences of neuroglial cell foci (NCF) on the brain were observed with light microscope. Appearance degrees of the congenital NCF on 10 to 16 cross section slides per a piglets brain were tentatively designed on a scale from degree+ to ⧻by NCF number: +, less than 20 of NCF number; ⧺, 21-40 of NCF number: ⧻, more than 41 of NCF number. The results obtained were as follows: 1. NCF in the brain were observed mainly on the cerebrum. Regions of higher frequencies on the cerebrum were ordered as subependymal layers of the lateral ventricles, peripheral regions of lateral ventricles in the white matter and some neuron layers under the molecular layer of the gray matter. But NCF were not observed in the cerebellum, pons, medulla oblongata and spinal cords. 2. On the subependymal layers of the lateral ventricles, NCF were observed in 100% of 27 piglets, and appearance degree of ⧻ was observed in 10 piglets(37.0%), ⧺ in 10 piglets(37.0%) and + in 7 Piglets(26.0%) of 27 piglets, respectively. 3. On the white matter of the cerebrum, NCF were observed in 25 piglets(92.6%) of 27 piglets, and appearance degree of ⧻ was observed in 3 piglets(11.1%), ⧺ in 13 piglets(48.2%), + in 9 piglets(33.3%) and - in 2 piglets(7.4%) of 27 piglets, respectively. 4. On the gray matter of the cerebrum, NCF were observed in 21 piglets(77.8%) of 27 piglets, and appearance degree of ⧻ was not observed, appearance degree of ⧺ was observed in 6 piglets(22.2%), + in 15 Piglets(55.6%) and - in 6 piglets(22.2%) of 27 Piglets, respectively. 5. NCF tended to be converged appearance on some regions and tended to be decreased markedly from 35th day after birth, and the shapes of NCF were: global or oval forms crowded by analogous shaped and stained cells in the empty spaces of the brain substrate or on one side of the blood vessels.

  • The NCF control algorithm for an active suspension system was proposed and investigated. The NCF algorithm using spring dynamic variation force and suspension relative velocity was applied to the 1/4 vehicle model and numerical analysis was performed. Vehicle's performances such as vehicle displacement, vehicle acceleration, suspension deflection, tire deflection and absorbed power were calculated and compared with those of the passive, semi-active and LQR active suspension system that use full state feedback. Numerical results show that the proposed NCF active suspension system has superior performance compared with the passive and semi-active suspension system and has very similar performance compared with the LQR active suspension system. So the proposed NCF algorithm is considered as a highly practical algorithm because it requires only one displacement sensor in a 1/4 vehicle model.

  • In this study we investigated the shear and forming behavior of chain stitched multi-axial warp knitted fabric preform, so called non-crimp fabric (NCF). The picture frame test was performed to characterize the shear behavior of NCF and also provide material properties for the numerical simulation of its deformation behavior. The forming behavior of NCF with chain stitch were investigated using hemispherical forming tools. The experimental results show that processing conditions such as blank holder force (BHF) and preform shape are crucial to determining the forming behavior of NCF. For instance, an asymmetric formed shape, which is due to the stitches introduced to NCF, turns into a symmetric one as BHF increases. Furthermore the in-plane and out-of buckling (wrinkle), the severance of which were quantified using image processing method, decreases significantly as BHF increases.

Effect of Covering the Soil with Naturally Degrading Polymer Film on the Benthic Macroinvertebrates Community Structure in Paddy Field (자연분해비닐 논토양 피복이 저서성 대형무척추동물의 군집구조에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the influence of natural degrading polymer film covering in rice paddies on the benthic macroinvertebrate community structure in Dangsu-dong, Suwon, Gyeonggi-do from May 2009 to September 2009. We compared 5 treatments: golden apple snail farming (GF), natural degrading polymer film + organic farming (NOF), natural degrading polymer film + chemical farming (NCF), conventional farming (CF), and no fertilization (NF) as the control. The total number of species was highest in NOF followed by GF, NF, NCF, and CF. The total number of individuals was highest in NOF followed by NCF, CF, NF, and GF. The Dominance index (DI) ranged from 0.43 to 0.95. The highest dominance index was in GF followed by NCF, NF=CF, and NOF. The species diversity index (H') for each experimental plot ranged from 0.49 to 2.93. The average species diversity index was highest in NOF followed by NF, GF, CF, and NCF. After the natural degrading polymer film covered the paddies, the benthic macroinvertebrates tended to recover, but leeches and aquatic beetles increased. Mollusca and Annelida, which are sensitive taxa, decreased in both species and individual numbers after the soil was covered with the natural degrading polymer film. The number of species tended to recover. However, the number of individuals continued to decrease.d, especially individuals. Since then, the number of species tended to recover. However, the number of individuals decreased.

  • The aim of this study is to prepare mixed Ni/Mg/Al/Cu/Ti powder in epoxy matrix with carbon fiber (NCF, MCF, ACF, CCF, TCF) conductive composite possessing eletromagnetic interference(EMI) shilding effectiveness(SE). A series if NCF/MCF/ACF/CCF/TCF composite were prepared by the hand lay up method. The various compositions of NCF/MCF/ACF/CCF/TCF were 10, 25, 50 percent by weight. The best EMI shilding effectiveness of all NCF/MCF/ACF is doout 40dB.

In vitro comparison of the cyclic fatigue resistance of HyFlex EDM, One G, and ProGlider nickel titanium glide path instruments in single and double curvature canals

  • Objectives: It was aimed to compare the cyclic fatigue resistances of ProGlider (PG), One G (OG), and HyFlex EDM (HEDM) nickel titanium glide path files in single- and double-curved artificial canals. Materials and Methods: 40 PG (16/0.02), 40 OG (14/0.03), and 40 HEDM (10/0.05) single-file glide path files were used in the present study. Sixty files were subjected to cyclic fatigue test by using double-curved canals and 60 files by using single-curved canal (n = 20). The number of cycles to fracture (NCF) was calculated and the length of the fractured fragment (FL) was determined by a digital micro-caliper. Twelve pieces of fractured files were examined with scanning electron microscope to determine fracture types of the files (n = 2). The NCF and the FL data were analyzed using one-way analysis of variance and post hoc Tukey test using SPSS 21 software (p < 0.05). Results: In all of the groups, NCF values were significantly lower in double-curved canals when compared to single-curved canals (p < 0.05). For both of single- and double-curved canals, NCF values of HEDM group in apical and coronal curvatures were found to be significantly higher than NCF values of PG and OG groups (p < 0.05). In both of single- and double-curved canals, NCF value of PG group was found significantly higher than OG group (p < 0.05). Conclusions: Within the limitations of this study, HEDM glide path files were found to have the highest cyclic fatigue resistance in both of single- and double-curved canals.

Effect of Vegetal Complex Raw Food on Plasma Glucose and Lipid Composition in High Fat Diet-induced Diabetic Rats (식물류를 이용한 생식용 천연복합식품이 고지방 식이에 의한 당뇨병 유발쥐의 혈청 glucose함량 및 지질구성에 미치는 영향)

  • This experiment was conducted to develop and design a product that is convenient and helpful to both patients and ordinary people who want to maintain their health. In this experimentation, the experimental rat have been given with high fat food to induce Diabetes. Organic brown rice was given as their main energy source and natural complex food, most of materials were freeze-dried, was given to observe its effects on their glucose amount in the plasma. The results are as follows. During 28 days of basal diets, as observing their weight variations, normal group gained weights, but the natural complex food(NCF) groups lost their weights. As comparing the amount of neutral fat levels in the plasma between the diabetes group who just had basal group and one who had NCF, group with NCF groups' level was much lower than the other group who just had basal food. As comparing total cholesterol levels in the plasma, with diabetes group with basal food, $50\%$ and $100\%$ NCF groups' levels were lowered than that group. Regarding HDL-cholesterol level, all NCE groups had around 30mg/dl and there were not much fluctuation among groups. As for LDL-cholesterol level, the $100\%$ NCF group had the lowest level and showed almost the same as the normal group. The amounts of the glucose in the plasma were lowered in all NCF groups. Among those NCE groups, $100\%$ NCF group had 120mg/dl to reach almost the same as the normal group.
