The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of PAIR leadership program which can make one's own for solving problems of conflicts through understanding of self and the environmental. For this, the PAIR leadership were administered in 10 sessions for 60 minutes with 16 of the adjustment soldiers and 20 of the maladjustment soldiers of the military alternative social workers. The pre-post on the behavioral change will, interpersonal efficacy and the self-regulation level were assessed. The results were as the PAIR he maladjustment soldiers group reported significantly higher score on level of the behavioral change will, interpersonal efficacy and the self-regulation. Also the adjustment soldiers reported significantly on interpersonal efficacy and the self-regulation. This results suggest that the PAIR readership program can be applied effectively for promotion of the behavioral change will, the self-regulation.

ROTC is the system that selects the best students in university and implements the military training of two years and uses them as beginning commander of the army by commissioning as officers. ROTC makes up a very large portion of the army and society in Korea in terms of the size and role. Therefore, it is very important to enhance intangible combat power of the Korean army by improving leadership of primary grade officer from ROTC. The purpose of this paper is to investigate whether or not ROTC candidate training program is providing the right training, so as to improve ROTC's leadership and present improvement plan. First, we divide ROTC candidate training program into three areas and take the 1st and 2nd survey. Then we compare and analyze the actual condition and recognition of investigation using statistical analysis methods such as chi-square test, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test. Also, we analyze the element affecting the army leader's three qualities formation which are basic elements of ROTC cadet's leadership using multiple regression analysis.

With the rapid increase of multicultural families in South Korea due to international marriages and the influx of foreign workers, the number of children from these families enlisting in the military is also rising. It is projected that by 2030, over 10,000 recruits from multicultural backgrounds will join the military annually. This influx can help mitigate the issue of decreasing military resources due to low birth rates and enhance the cultural diversity within the military. However, the lack of multicultural awareness and the presence of discrimination in the military can hinder the well-being of these multicultural soldiers. This study aims to analyze the multicultural phenomenon in the Korean military and explore development strategies to ensure the stable service and healthy military culture for multicultural soldiers. The theoretical background of multiculturalism and diversity in the military is examined, along with the analysis of multicultural military operations in other countries. Management strategies for multicultural soldiers, including leadership and organizational culture innovation, multicultural education and awareness programs, and the establishment of tailored support systems, are proposed. Furthermore, policy recommendations for enhancing the effectiveness of multicultural policies in the Korean military are presented. Supporting the successful military service of multicultural soldiers will contribute to the enhancement of military combat power and the acceptance of multiculturalism in Korean society.
The purpose of this study is to contribute to enhancing spiritual combat power as the core of intangible combat power in Korean armed forces through analyses and suggestions on Admiral Yi Sun-sin's leadership for four major sweeping victories based upon jointness which effectively integrates tangible and intangible combat power in armed forces to maximize the synergy of fighting power. As our armed forces has improved their military structure in the dimension of hardwares so as to enhance their efficiency, according to the results of analyzing the process to promote the jointness between our armed forces and our allied powers in the dimension of softwares supporting such hardware dimensions, it was necessary to innovate the system for reinforcing future-oriented spiritual combat power as well as all the tasks related to leadership as the core of intangible combat power jointly and harmoniously. In order to derive tasks about the leadership of Korean armed forces in the dimension of softwares which should be combined with military structural reform for strengthening spiritual combat power for national defense, this study selected research questions linked with jointness. That is, (1) what is the core of military leadership in Western advanced countries in the age of jointness? (2) What are the contemporary illuminations or implications of Korean leaderships through Admiral Yi Sun-sin's war history? Then, this study analyzed literature reviews, this author's field interviews in the time of war participation, and leadership war history focusing on Admiral Yi Sun-sin's leadership for four major sweeping victories. According to the results of these analyses, this study extracted (1) the strategic leadership to predict and prepare the future, (2) the leadership of integration to create synergy effects, and (3) the leadership of knowledge to be practiced focusing on combats. In addition, in order to reinforce spiritual combat power based upon jointness, (1) it is necessary to precede in-depth and substantial leadership diagnosis for enhancing jointness. (2) It is necessary to embody national defense reform as well as integration for jointness improvement after scientifically comparing and analyzing the differentiation and integration between the Ministry of National Defense, army-navy-air force leadership centers, and PKO centers. (3) It is necessary to promote the merger and abolition between institutions related to intangibale combat power under the Ministry of National Defense.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of members' perception of unit change management efforts on their emotional-organizational commitment during the military restructuring. The mediating effect of change acceptance of the members in this relationship is also studied. Currently, the military is seeking to restructure its military construct in order to actively cope with the rapidly changing security situation and the decrease in military service resources. If an organization fails to effectively manage its changes when undergoing restructuring, it is difficult to expect the success of organizational change due to its members' resistance to change. Therefore, this study suggested the effect of members' perception of personnel fairness and transformational leadership on their emotional-organizational commitment and the mediating role of the members' change acceptance in the relationship between them as the hypotheses. Survey results show that personnel justice and transformational leadership has a positive impact on the emotional-organizational commitment of the members, and that the change acceptance of the members partially mediates the relationship between them. By presenting the mediating effect of change acceptance with theoretical implications, the theory has been expanded. In practice, the change management activities for the restructuring of the military structure have been identified, and the effort for enhancing the change acceptance of the members is required to success on the organizational restructuring.

This study proposed an IT convergence curriculum for educating the Non-Commissioned Officers. This program was produced by the comprehensive reference to the curriculums of military academies and systematic and rational modelling. The key features of the proposed curriculum are to consolidate the following three areas to meet the needs of the NCO, a recipient of the education. First, IT related subjects were posed as a mainstay of the curriculum that is critical for the scientific and information advancement of the forces. Second, the military leadership courses were included in the effective management of the soldiers. Third, military counseling certificate courses were included, a ground breaking trial nationally. In addition to this, we presented a characterized courses that focus on hands-on skills and knowledge for performing the duties of the NCO.
There is a growing interest in researching new leadership and efficient organizational management due to the changes and spread of Information Communications Technologies (ICT) related organizations. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the effect of leadership on organization in ICT R & D, and to follow the relationship between coaching leadership, leader member exchange (LMX), emotional intelligence of leaders, and organizational effectiveness. In order to verify this research problem, a total of 310 people were surveyed from employees working in the ICT R & D field. Reliability analysis of the measuring tool was tested on 80 pilot surveys in advance, and the final 285 data were used for empirical analysis excluding 25 unsatisfactory responses. For analysis, SPSS 22.0 program and AMOS were used to analyze the reliability, validity, path analysis, and control effects of the measurement tools. The findings demonstrate empirically the positive relationship between LMX and organizational effectiveness on coaching leadership in ICT R & D. In addition, by empirically verifying the effect that the emotional intelligence of the leader regulates the relationship between LMX, organizational effectiveness, and coaching leadership, then emotional intelligence of the leader can be usefully applied in ICT R & D. Furthermore, the demand for more in-depth research on coaching leadership, LMX, and emotional intelligence of leaders, which positively affects organizational effectiveness, was identified as demand for ICT R & D is increasing and horizontal and interactive leadership is needed.

The purpose of this paper is to develop curriculum for the Department of Computer Application Based Army Contracts. Because the Army contract department is a retraining undergraduate degree program targeting noncommissioned officers in service, its curriculum has no choice but to differ from those of other departments. The curriculum of the Department of Computer Application focuses on the reeducation of noncommissioned officers in service and consumers of education. In addition to the subjects related to the scientific and informational movement of the military, the subjects needed to qualify for the second-degree military counsellor certificate are reflected in the curriculum, which is a first for regular universities. The appropriate curriculum of the Department of Computer Application will be proposed including subjects for noncommissioned officers to cultivate leadership skills for managing subordinates and various subjects road map of department specializations will be also developed.
