Purpose - The purpose of this study is to verify a role of organizational culture as antecedents to influence psychological empowerment of organizational members, focusing on service workers of casino companies. Therefore, this study sought to examine the question of each clan, adhocracy, market, and hierarchy culture that the workers perceive to influence their psychological empowerment. Thus, the current study examined the relationship between organizational culture and the psychological empowerment by empirical analysis. Research design, data, and methodology - This study chose four domestic casino companies that are run only for foreigners. Using an offline survey, it analyzed the questionnaire data of the 249 surveys collected from employees working in the sales and service sectors. Independent variables were four types of organizational culture: clan, adhocracy, market, and hierarchy. Dependent variables were four subcategories of psychological empowerment: meaning, competence, self-determination, and impact. As research methods, the study applied descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis, using SPSS 21.0 statistical program. Results - Among the organizational culture types, the clan and adhocracy cultures, which emphasize flexibility and autonomy, were relatively more important for the psychological empowerment of workers than the hierarchy and market cultures. Clan culture was the most important factor in terms of meaning and competence, and adhocracy culture was the most important factor in self-determination and impact. However, the hierarchy and market cultures that pursue control and stability were also cultural types that positively affected psychological empowerment of the workers. Hierarchy culture showed positive effects on meaning, competence, and impact except self-determination, and market culture had positive effect only on competency. Conclusions - The study found that organizational culture is an important predictor of psychological empowerment of the employees in casino companies and that important organizational culture types may be different for each sub-factor of psychological empowerment. It suggests that casino companies have to try to recognize and secure diverse organizational culture in order to activate psychological empowerment of their employees because they can provide quality service for customers. Therefore, it is necessary to create a harmonious and balanced culture between promoting flexible and autonomous organizational atmosphere, and stably controlling and operating the organization.

The purpose of the study was to induce meaning of the UX design from users' interview. The study covers interviews from 20 untact finance application users in their twenties in written form. It aims to examine previous studies on UX design and to overcome their shortcomings by categorizing usability qualities focusing on verbs used in the interview. The followings are the result: Usability of UX design can be summarized into Unity, Trust, Persistency, Recognition and Approachability of the information to the 20 users in their twenties. As for the data earned from interviews focusing on verbs, usability included Security, Familiarity, Accessibility, Convenience of Operation and Visibility. Each of the qualities fell into related categories such as Security, Information, Brand and Design. In conclusion, analysis based on verb choices led to better understanding of the user-based experience compared to using objective means in previous studies and can be a suggestion to make up for errors in the former evaluation process.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the meaning and characteristics of re-organized shortform contents, which is centered on media companies to edit and service existing broadcast content. For this, KBS, MBC, SBS, JTBC, and tvN's entire drama videos and representative entertainment programs opened on the Naver TV platform from 2014 to 2021 were selected for analysis and a synchronic and diachronic approach was conducted at the same time. As a result of the analysis, quantitative and qualitative expansion was made, with the number and form of videos provided by both dramas and entertainment programs diversifying from a synchronic approach. In particular, in the case of special videos, the meaning as independent content was also strengthened, such as sequencing centered on characters, themes, and materials. It was confirmed that thumbnails and titles were also formalized as tags as paratexts that act as curation for searches. From a diachronic point of view, it was found that re-organized shortform contents is considered to be character-oriented contents and independent viewing context through comparison with real-time views and original videos. This study is significant as an attempt to capture the meaning and phase change of shortform contents, which was considered incidental.

Navigational Aids Facilities help aircraft navigate by using wired communication, wireless communication, satellite, light, color and radio waves. Navigational Aids Facilities are used in all processes of aircraft operation, and if there is a problem with the facility, it may lead to delays in flight operation, cancellation of flights, and major airline accidents, resulting in enormous loss of life and property. In the management and operation of Navigational Aids Facilities, various outcomes will be brought about according to the advancement with the safety culture. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of advancement on safety culture in the operation of Navigational Aids facilities not only on members and customers, but also on benefits to bring to whole society. In this paper, the analysis results are presented using the structural equation model, and the meaning is presented in the conclusion.

This paper was dealing with the change of academic meaning for activities of volunteer firefighter by enforcement of "Act on Volunteer Fire Brigade Establishment & Operation". For that, we checked the references including definition, origin, history, activities, and characteristics of volunteer firefighter. In addition, we confirmed the differentiating activity characteristics between the volunteer firefighter and the general volunteer. In result, the characteristics of the volunteer firefighter activities did not have with the spontaneity of the general volunteer activities due to Article 3 (appointment of volunteer firefighter), Article 4 (dismissal of volunteer firefighter), and Article 9 (working conditions of volunteer firefighter, etc) of "Act on Volunteer Fire Brigade Establishment & Operation". Finally, we could not interpret that the characteristics of the activities of volunteer firefither is same with the general volunteer activities. The result in this paper is expected to serve as a basis for the research of the volunteer fire department in Korea.

This study was described to examine the meaning of the media exhibition work <70mK>, which aims to capture the topography of the collective consciousness of the Korean people through large-scale interviews. <70mK> edits and organizes interview images of individual beings in mosaic-like layouts and forms, creating video exhibitions and holding exhibitions. The objects in the split frame show the continuity of differences that reveal their own thoughts and personalities. This is a synchronic and conscious collective typology in which the intrinsic nature of the individuals is embodied in a simultaneous and holistic image. Interview images reveal their own form as a actual being and convey the intrinsic nature of one's own as oral information. <70mK> constructs a new individualization by aesthetically structuring the forms and information of life individuals in the extension of a specific group. The beings in the frame are not communicating with each other and are looking straight ahead. it conveys to visitors their relationship and personality as the preindividual reality. It is the repetitive arrangement and composition of heterogeneity and difference that each individual shows, and is a chain operation that includes collective identity behind it. <70mK> constructs the direct images and sounds of individual interviewee, creating a new form of information transfer called Video Art Exhibition. This makes metaphors and perceptions of the meaning and process of transindividual relationships and the meaning of psychic individuation and collective individuation. This is an appropriate case to explain with modern technology and individualization of Gilbert Simondon thought together with the meaning of becoming and relation of individualization. The exhibition space constructed by <70mK> is an aesthetic methodology of the psychic and collective meaning and its relationship to a particular group of individuals through which they are connected. Simondon studied the meaning of the process of individualization and the meaning of becoming, and is a philosopher who positively considered the potential of modern technology. <70mK> is a new individual as structured and generated ethical reality mediated by modern technology mechanisms and network behaviors. It is an case of an aesthetic and practical methodology of how interviews function as 'transduction' in the process of individualization in which technology is cooperated. The direct images and sounds of <70mK> are systems in which the information of life individuals is carried, amplified, accumulated and transmitted. It is also a new individual as a psychic and collective landscape. It is a newly became exhibition art work through the multiple individualization, and is a representation of transindividual meanings and process. The media exhibition art of individualized metastable states leads to new relationships in which viewers perceive the same preindividual reality and feel affectivity. The exhibition space of <70mK> becomes a stage for preparing the actual possibility of the transindividual group beyond the representation of the semantic function.

The meaning of seaport has always been translated into something concerned with nation-wide goals and viewpoints, which used to be in developing country. The time developing countries have tried to be in pursuit of their economic development, one of important sectors is SOC investment that is needed into huge capital input which they couldn't easily afford to it. Another one which we have to mention in terms of seaport at contemporary maritime matters is privatization of port, that is strongly connected with efficiency to achieve port productivity. All these factors can produce high quality of service, and port co-operation and diversification of their business areas, etc. Therefore we then have to think of private port management companies such as P&O Ports, Hutchison Whampoa in HK, etc. in order to provide better port service to the customers, and they can also get involved into capital port investment as well. This kind of concept already comes from Denholm Ship management companies in shipping. So, it is necessary for us to look into port management company in our side, which means, we have to be involved into such a business to invest and manage foreign ports as well as our ports. Then, port competitiveness will follow in our ports.

Reports have a significant meaning In large transaction environments, such as advanced the information technology and online environment. This is due to the necessity of generating reports within a giventime limit without restraining the operation performance of large transaction environments. In order to generate reports in large transaction environments while sa!isfying time-constrained requirements, this paper proposes a model which combines the incremental operation mechanism and materialized view mechanism using triggers and stored procedures. Further, the implementation and evaluation of the proposed model provides the identification of the characteristics of the proposed model.

"The prohibition of careless or reckless flight" is the regulation specified not only in the national air law but ICAO ANNEX and FAR. This article(item) has not been categorized properly unlike other items and the question such as why this is described as a fundamental and essential act can be answered only by the party subjected to administrative measures in case of Korea and this kind of violation is so rare that it is not easy to understand the legal meaning and the function of the term, "The prohibition of careless or reckless flight" In case of U.S where aviation cases are common, the distinction between the term "careless" or "reckless" operation depends on whether to recognize the given situation. Some incidents happened by failing to aware NOTAM, violating ATC, or T/W landing where a pilot did not recognize the violation itself are considered to be "Careless" flight. Others such as low altitude high speed flight, approximate flight, Rejecting ATC instruction where a pilot intends to or is remiss in safety are regarded as "Reckless" flight. For pilots who are required to take the highest level of care from preparing for flight to stopping engines or completely disembarking passengers from a plane, the clear understanding of the most basic concept of "careless" or "reckless" flight should be emphasized for the safe flight and it is the time for the authorities to set a standard for proper measures by definite legal interpretations.

In the field of environmental protection, close co-operation between Contracting Parties is strongly required and the reporting obligation under MARPOL 73/78 is playing an important role as a part of international co-operation for the environmental protection. In this paper, I review the meaning of reporting obligation under MARPOL 73/78 from the perspective of the international law, and investigate the status of implementation for the reporting obligation. For this purpose, I analyze status of implementation for last 10 years from 2001 to 2010 regarding reporting obligations under MARPOL 73/78 in accordance with MEPC/Circ.318. Finally, I suggest the way forward to improve Contracting Parties' compliance with reporting obligations through this analysis.
